Belgium deployed hundreds of troops to protect against Islamic terrorists:

Belgium is deploying hundreds of troops to guard potential targets of terrorism, including Jewish sites and diplomatic missions, following a series of raids and arrests, the defense minister said on Saturday.
Up to 300 military will be stationed at locations such as the U.S. and Israeli embassies in Brussels and NATO and EU institutions.
Troops will reinforce police at least until Thursday, when authorities will review the national threat level, set at 3 on a scale of 4 this week.
“It’s very important to say that this wasn’t a simple decision. But it was necessary, at a time when police are overly engaged, for the army to enter in a supporting role,” Defense Minister Steven Vandeput told reporters.
On Thursday, two gunmen were killed in the Belgian town of Verviers during raids on an Islamist group that authorities said was planning to attack police. …Friday, more than two dozen suspects were arrested in Belgium, France, Germany and Ireland in continuing searches for suspected terrorists, as the region remains on alert for potential attacks.
In Germany, police say they have arrested two men in Berlin on suspicion they were recruiting fighters for the Islamic State group in Syria.
The suspects were detained Friday during a series of raids by more than 200 police officers on 12 properties in the German capital.
In Ireland, police arrested a suspected French-Algerian militant at Dublin Airport when he tried to enter the country using a false passport.
In an interview with The Associated Press on Friday, the head of the European Union’s police agency, Europol, said Europe must cooperate more closely to prevent attacks like last week’s deadly incidents in Paris.

Europe is taking notice of Islamic terrorists and starting to take more steps. Public opinion there basically seems to support all of this. The time will come when Islam is basically eliminated from Europe. Many in Europe are realizing that Islam has a major problem.

Muslim leaders must publicly condemn jihadist terror attacks like the deadly strikes in France and concede “Islam has a problem,” Louisiana Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal says.
“If Islam does not support what is happening in the name of Islam, then they need to stand up and stop it,” Jindal declares in a speech he’ll give Monday in London, the Daily Caller reports.
“Many Islamic leaders argue that these are the acts of a radical few.”
But, Jindal’s speech at the Henry Jackson Society will argue, “Let’s be honest here, Islam has a problem.” …

One of the ‘solutions’ that people like Newt Gingrich and Bobby Jindal seem to be actually pushing for is a confederation of Islamic states to attempt to control ‘radical Islam.’ The Bible tells of a rise of a confederation called the King of the South which is composed of nations that are currently predominantly Islamic–but that confederation will not end well (Daniel 11:40-43; Ezekiel 30:2-8).
Does Islam have a problem with terrorism?

While I do not agree with all of the above, the reality is that Islam does have a problem with terrorism. The Bible predicts more terrorism (Leviticus 26:14-17; Deuteronomy 32:25; Ezekiel 21:12; Psalms 73:12,19; Proverbs 1:25-27), and as I have written before, I believe that despite whatever steps are taken now, more terrorism will come–and much, but not all, of it from Islamic sources.
Expect Germany, France, and other parts of Europe to be hit by terrorist acts and a leader in Europe to rise up, known as the King of the North (who will somewhat sound peaceful but will end up be terroristic in a persecuting way per Daniel 7:25).
After he arises to a degree, a deal will take place:
27 Both these kings’ hearts shall be bent on evil, and they shall speak lies at the same table; but it shall not prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time. (Daniel 11:27)
The two kings listed above are the kings of the North (a European power) and of the South (a power made up of nations that are predominantly Islamic).
The deal of Daniel 11:27 could also be related to the following:
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”5 For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot. (Psalms 83:3-8)
Most of the descendants of the peoples listed above, other than Assyria, are Muslim. The Muslims will be involved in a ‘crafty counsel’–a terroristic plan–to destroy various descendants of Israel. This will basically be the descendants of Israel’s sons Ephraim and Manasseh, who Israel placed his name upon:
14 Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands knowingly, for Manasseh was the firstborn. 15 And he blessed Joseph, and said:
“God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,
The God who has fed me all my life long to this day,
16 The Angel who has redeemed me from all evil,
Bless the lads;
Let my name be named upon them,
And the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
And let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.” (Genesis 48:14-16)
By Israel placing his name upon them, this helps show that certain prophecies related to ‘Israel’ apply to the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh, who today are many of the British and North American (not Latin American) peoples. As far as the name ‘Isaac’ goes, history records about groups of people called Saxons, which many realize means Isaac’s sons (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). There will be conflict between the descendants of the peoples in Psalm 83 and the British and North American peoples.
Islam does have a problem. The ‘solution’ that some of the states in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and North America seem to be leaning towards imposing now will result in the formation of a confederation of Islamic nations.
Although some will proclaim that this will lead to peace (and it will likely lead to a temporary peace per Daniel 9:27), it will end in disaster (1 Thessalonians 5:3) for the USA, its British-descended allies (United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand), as well as most of the Islamic nations themselves (Daniel 11:40-43; Ezekiel 30:2-8).
The more conflict we see between ‘radical Islam’ and the West, the closer we are getting to some of the deals that the Bible prophesies.
