European leaders breathe easier as Rutte routs Wilders
With his first-place finish in the Netherlands’ elections, Mark Rutte has effectively halted the right-wing populist Geert Wilders. Messages – from the pithy to the idealistic – have been pouring in from across Europe.
Both the vote count tallies and the reactions poured in during the early hours of Thursday morning as politicians and individuals across Europe and the world took in the results of Wednesday’s parliamentary election in the Netherlands.

Dutch leader Mark Rutte has won the country’s general election and said Geert Wilders’ defeat meant ‘after Brexit and Trump‘ the country’s voters had rejected the ‘wrong kind of populism’.

As far as the Brexit goes, it is moving closer to happening:
London (CNN) Britain’s exit from the European Union moved another step closer Thursday after the legislation enabling the country’s departure was given royal assent by Queen Elizabeth II.

Consider that Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte just mentioned both Brexit and the election of US President Donald Trump. These two items are definitely affecting Europe. In light of that, consider the following:
With Donald Trump leading the United States, Europe seems to be losing trust in the American nuclear umbrella. As the EU focuses on the need to have its own military, the issue of European nuclear deterrent comes to the fore. The debate has been triggered. This issue is intensively discussed in Germany.
The nuclear deterrence plan is eyeing France, proposing to turn the French nuclear potential into a European nuclear deterrent. It is believed that Germany could play a decisive role in convincing France, and may be the UK, to provide security guarantees for all of Europe. Under such a plan, Europe would become independent from the US. …

Just three days before the US elections, an op-ed in Germany’s largest left-leaning news outlet, Spiegel Online, mused about the possibility of Germany pursuing its own nuclear weapons. In late 2016, Roderich Kiesewetter, a lawmaker and foreign policy spokesman with Germany’s ruling party, raised the issue after Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. According to him, a Franco-British nuclear umbrella could be financed through a joint European military budget that is due to begin in 2019, along with joint European medical, transportation and reconnaissance commands. This would require a doctrine, he said, allowing Europe to introduce nuclear weapons to a non-nuclear conflict. …
Berthold Kohler, a publisher of the conservative Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, followed with the suggestion that Germany might need to augment the small British and French arsenals with a nuclear force of its own …
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Poland’s former prime minister and now the head of its ruling party provided the highest-level call for a European Union nuclear program in the February interview with a German newspaper. Kaczynski has broached a taboo subject.

A lot has been said about the danger of an arms race in Europe. It should be noted that Europe already does have not only French nuclear weapons, but US nuclear weapons under effective European control.
With Donald Trump and Brexit, the Europeans are more and more looking to become their own independent military power.
Some believe that Europe’s “military capabilities should be equal to those of the US” (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-13/trumps-right-nato-obsolete-us).
But Europe does not have to have equal military capabilities to defeat the US. The US has attempted to develop military capabilities for many, many scenarios. To defeat the US, Europe only has to focus on that. Since the US does NOT consider that Europe is (or will be) a serious threat, this will work to Europe’s military advantage.
Notice that the Bible tells of a coming time of massive devastation:
23 ‘The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’ (Deuteronomy 29:23-24)
19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts
The land is burned up,
And the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother.
20 And he shall snatch on the right hand
And be hungry;
He shall devour on the left hand
And not be satisfied; Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. 21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; Together they shall be against Judah (Isaiah 9:19-21).
The above descriptions are consistent with a nuclear or similar attack. Manasseh represents the USA and Ephraim its British-descended allies (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). THIS HAS NOT YET HAPPENED IN HISTORY AND IS A PROPHECY FOR OUR TIME.
According to the Bible, Europe will become a massive problem for the USA, UK, and much of the rest of the world–Europe will become a destructive military power (Revelation 13:4; Daniel 11:39).

In the wake of President Trump’s comments that NATO is “obsolete”, and European ‘leaders’ renewed calls for a European army, Angela Merkel has been forced to deny Germany is interested in acquiring nuclear weapons amid calls for it to lead a European “nuclear superpower.” 02/10/17 http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-10/merkel-forced-deny-plans-european-nuclear-superpower
While Germany’s Angela Merkel has denied that her nation is looking to go nuclear, others have stated otherwise. Plus, Germany is working on a variety of high-tech weapons (see also European Technology and the Beast of Revelation).
The Bible teaches that despite divisions, Europe will reorganize, unite, and become a military power called the ‘beast’:
41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. (Daniel 2:41-43)
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)
1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)
This reorganization of Europe will NOT turn out well for the USA nor it Anglo-Saxon descended allies (cf. Daniel 8:25; 11:39; USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
Donald Trump does not seem to appreciate or understand the biblical prophecies related to the USA and Europe. He is inadvertently taking steps that will lead to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies.
Furthermore, let us not forget that the Bible also teaches that Europe will end up with a “GREAT ARMY” (Daniel 9:25).
The Europeans will take more steps to separate themselves from the USA. This does not mean that NATO must be totally abandoned. I have felt for decades that the Europeans would likely attack the USA deceptively under the guise of a NATO or similar exercise, and probably will have ground assistance from Mexico, a nation that Donald Trump has repeatedly offended. Donald Trump, in my view, has confirmed this by threatening NATO if the Europeans do not fund more of it, while then saying he is 100% in support of NATO.
Once Europe spends more on its military and gets certain technologies, it will expect more control of military matters and will one day decide it no longer needs NOR WANTS the USA to be around. And according to biblical prophecies, like Daniel 11:39, a power from Europe will takeover the USA militarily, despite the overall military advantage that the US seems to have (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
