German general now commands the US Army in Europe

The army of the USA now reports to a German general:

Brig. Gen. Markus Laubenthal, formerly commander of the 12th Armored Brigade in Amberg and chief of staff for the international security assistance force regional command north in Afghanistan, has been named chief of staff for U.S. Army Europe.

The announcement of Laubenthal’s appointment comes at a time of strained relations between the U.S. and Germany over allegations of U.S. spying and phone tapping. USAREUR said in March it intended to name a German chief of staff.

The politicized US Army official position (from its website) states the following:

“This is a bold and major step forward in USAREUR’s commitment to operating in a multinational environment with our German allies. U.S. and German senior military leaders have been serving together in NATO’s International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan for years. Sustaining the shared capability from this experience will benefit both U.S. and German armies. As you know, actions speak louder than words, and this innovation carries a very strong message regarding our seriousness about a multinational team. I look forward to working with Brig. Gen. Laubenthal and seeing the tremendous impact his presence will have on the team,” said Lt. Gen. Donald Campbell Jr., USAREUR commanding general.

Laubenthal is looking forward to his new assignment. “I view my new duties as chief of staff with interest and respect. As the commander of Panzerbrigade 12 (12th Armored Brigade) ‘Oberpfalz’, I have always valued the joint exercises with our partnership unit, the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck. I am therefore even more pleased to continue this close cooperation in a new and unique way in Wiesbaden. A reader sent me an article related to all of this that states:

In a stunning move that insults every single WWII veteran, not to mention any veteran of the US Army, President Obama has declared a German General in charge of the US Army in Europe.

If you thought President Obama specifically recruiting Muslims for the military and preparing “his military” by purging it were bad, you haven’t seen anything yet.

In a move that has every US Army Veteran since World War II dropping their jaw and shaking their head, the Army Times, Stars and Stripes, and even the US Army’s Official Website have all announced Brig. Gen. Markus Laubenthal, a German General of the Panzerbrigade 12 (same brigade from the “Battle of the Bulge” that took on US Army Forces) has now been placed in charge of US Army operations in Europe!

This is the first time since the arrival of US forces in Europe on D-Day during WWII, and the first time in history a non-American has EVER been placed in charge of our forces, that a German general will serve as Chief of Staff to US operations in Europe.

This is a commander of the very same unit that give our WWII veterans nightmares!

Do any Americans who remember World War II ever think that the USA would ever do anything like this?

This is a dangerous move. This form of appeasement from the USA for its espionage will not work as the USA probably hopes it will. The UK’s Neville Chamberlain attempted to appease Adolf Hitler, but World War II still began. The Obama Administration can attempt to appease Germany now, but World War III will still happen.

We in the Church of God have long taught that Germany would rise again. In the Continuing Church of God, we have specifically taught that because of the USA espionage issues (like Snowden) that the USA would try to appease Germany.

What many do not realize is that the USA officially has problems with its GPS system. I warned back in 2009 that this could mean that the USA would decide to rely on Europe’s then upcoming (and now in-process) Galileo system. Around when I first wrote about this, a US Air Force officer spokesman said that the USA did not have problems with GPS satellites for defense purposes. But just over a year later, the USA announced that it would rely on Europe’s Galileo system for some of its defense communications.

Linking up with Galileo (which the USA has publicly stated that it will do; see USA GPS and EU Galileo linking was expected) specifically puts the USA at major risk of not being able to launch an effective counter-strike if the EU attacks the USA. Do Americans not remember that the wars in Kuwait and Iraq were waged first by the USA having vastly superior air/space systems? And now the USA’s financial mess is leading the USA to rely on other nations for part of this capability. The world is changing and the USA is losing its vast military supremacy. And top powers that lose their military supremacy have historically been taken over by others. Yes, this satellite matter is that serious. Galileo, and the partial apparent USA dependance upon it, gives the Europeans a unique type of military power. This is something all should be concerned about.

Furthermore, notice some of what I wrote in one of my books related to Barack Obama, the USA military, European military, the Beast, and technology:

Instead of completely strengthening the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS), Barack Obama’s Administration instead decided to rely on Europe’s upcoming Galileo “GPS” for part of the U.S.A.’s military defense (U.S. and the EU to collaborate on the usage of Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Wire Update, BNO News, July 31, 2010). This would appear to give the rising European power a unique offensive and defensive capability against the U.S.A. (cf. Daniel 11:39; Revelation 13:3-4). It is dangerous to have a potential enemy control portions of one’s military communications systems.

Instead of increasing the U.S.A.’s role in particle collider technology, similar to some previous administrations, Barack Obama’s Administration has greatly weakened that. So much so, there is only one remaining U.S. particle accelerator and it is at risk of being gutted or shut down (Matson J. Nuclear Decelerator: Last U.S. Particle Collider is on Chopping Block. Scientific American, August 24, 2012). This is an area where Europe has clearly gained the lead over the U.S.A. since Barack Obama became president…

The Bible shows that the Beast will have special help from “unclean spirits” (Revelation 16:13) and will be considered to be unconquerable (Revelation 13:4).

Notice what the Bible says about this:

3…And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:3-4, NKJV)

Notice that the military power of the Beast was something that the world will marvel, be astonished about. Why? Because no one really thought that the European Beast power had the military ability to defeat the U.S.A. with its Anglo-allies (Daniel 11:39), and then the Islamic King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43). Revelation 13:3-4 also supports the idea that the Beast may rise up because of violent civil unrest in Europe.

Technology may be key to a powerful European military. One aspect could include particle collider research. The number of colliders in the U.S.A. has dwindled down to one under the Obama and Bush Administrations, and the remaining one is facing budget cuts and possible closure. Yet, in Europe, it now has the leading one in the world, CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and in 2012, Germany announced that it is planning a possibly even more advanced one called FAIR (FAIR stands for the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research).

I believe that Germany’s FAIR, along with the LHC and other technology, will help the Europeans produce military weaponry to fulfill certain end time prophecies. Since Revelation 13:4 is discussing what seems to be a unique type of warfare, this warfare likely includes certain high-tech weapons (electromagnetic pulse, neutron, unique delivery systems, etc.) that will be effective for a while (ultimately the Europeans will be overcome by what appears to be a Russian-led, mainly Asian, confederation, cf. Jeremiah 50:41-43 & Daniel 11:44, possibly by exploiting some technological flaw, like creating a software virus, etc., while also amassing troops, etc.). The FAIR and the LHC projects are also likely to spin-off economic benefits that may help propel Europe to be (for a short while) the economic leader of the world (cf. Revelation 18).

While the U.S.A., Australia, and others are currently worried mostly about China, the European developments will not be good for the Anglo-descended lands, including England. (Thiel B. Large physics projects tend to produce military weaponry. And by not having the more conventional military equipment like tanks in Germany, the USA itself will not be in a position to as effectively deal with whatever high-tech military equipment that Europe develops.

The US Army remove the last of its tanks from Germany last year (see There are no longer USA tanks in Germany: Do Americans understand this is a serious risk?). Furthermore, the USA continues to cut its ground troops (see, for example, US Army plans to shrink to pre-WWII levels). The USA’s ability to fight on the ground in Europe has been severely hampered.

I also should add the first non-American, French General Stéphane Abrial became the “Commander of the Allied Command Transformation” of NATO in Europe in September, 2009 (French General Takes Over Key NATO Command In U.S. RTT News, September 10, 2009. http://www.rttnews.com/ArticleView. aspx?Id=1062869; http://www.nato.int/cps/
en/natolive/topics_50114.htm). Though he no longer holds that post, another French General, Jean-Paul Paloméros, now does. So, this is another part of the military no longer under USA control.

The problems with GPS combined with Galileo, advancing European military technology, and the fact that Europeans have much more control over the military of the USA puts the USA at greater risk than most have imagined.

Now, there is also a German general in charge of the USA Army. Not that I expect that Europe will attack the USA prior to possibly 2018, the reality is that if there is a German general in order to stop the Europeans from turning their technologies against the USA.

The power in Europe is starting to rise up. And yes, ultimately, what is likely to come from Europe’s Large Hadron Collider and/or Germany’s FAIR collider, will be used to as part of an attack on American (USA and possibly Canadian) forces. Additionally, I believe that Europe’s Galileo or similar technology (Galileo is an upcoming competitor to GPS that the USA has said it will partially rely on for its own military needs; see also Europe’s Galileo ‘GPS’ Hits Another Milestone and USA GPS and EU Galileo linking was expected) will help the Europeans when that happens as well as to help prevent counter-strikes by the USA.

The USA is more and more putting itself in harm’s way with Europe and Germany. If a German or European general is in charge of US armed forces in Europe when Europe attacks and beats the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39), the USA will lose faster than any thought.

It has long been my view, based upon biblical prophecy, that the Europeans will be surprised how relatively easy it will be to take over the USA when it is time.

The USA is being naive about this. But as its political and military leaders do not really believe and understand biblical prophecy, they think their ways to peace will work. The Bible teaches otherwise (cf. Isaiah 59:8).
