The Continuing Church of God observes God's Holy Days (click here for you can click here for the calendar of Holy Days), sometimes called festival or feast days, throughout the world.
Information on them is in the free online book: Should You Keep God's Holy Days or Demonic Holidays?
The longest festival is called the Feast of Tabernacles (see The Feast of Tabernacles: A Time for Christians?) also called the Feast of Booths. The Jews call it Sukkot.
Christians realize that this festival helps picture the millennial Kingdom of God.
Feast of Tabernacles services are to begin the evening of October 16th and continue until sunset ending the Last Great Day which is October 24th in 2024.
Some website links to outside sources are in this post, but this does not mean that they are endorsed by the Continuing Church of God. They are provided as additional sources of information–and hopefully some of that information may be helpful to you and your family as you begin to make plans for the 2024 Feast of Tabernacles.
Remember that Jesus said to seek first the kingdom of God in Matthew 6:33. To seek first the kingdom of god means that worldly things are not to come first. yet many do not heed Jesus’ words—but all should!
Furthermore, from a Christian perspective, we also realize that this pilgrimage period we call the FEAST pictures a foretaste of the millennial kingdom of god. we should all seek to observe it during this age.
Please make every effort to obey God and attend in person this year. And if that is REALLY NOT POSSIBLE (but for almost everyone should be), then at least watch services online each day.
In North America, we are planning to observe the Feast of Tabernacles in Galveston, Texas.
The intended location is the Moody Gardens Hotel & Spa, 7 Hope Blvd, Galveston, TX 77554, 409-744-4673.
(Photo from Moody Gardens Hotel accommodations” page)
While the per room rate is a bit higher than other sites ($169 per night, plus taxes), remember that no one needs to stay there in order to attend the Feast of Tabernacles’ services there. The hotel provided us a link in which you can book rooms should you choose to stay here: https://www.reseze.net/servlet/SendPage?hotelid=1722&skipfirstpage=true&page=227651
Congregants should already be saving second tithe so they can afford to go and observe the Feast of Tabernacles joyfully, as God’s word declares they should.
Do not put it off as time marches on fairly quickly.
You do not need to stay at the hotel services are to be held at in order to attend the Feast of Tabernacles here. However, many will find staying at the meeting hotel convenient.
According to Tripadvisor, the Galveston has about 155 restaurants and over 60 places to stay.
The closest airport is Houston Hobby (HOU), which is about 42 miles away. There is also the Geroge Bush International Airport in Houston (IAH), which is 72 miles away. The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW) is about 310 miles away.

We do not expect a full feast site in Australia in 2024. Possibly, those there will connect online with those of New Zealand.
Our planned North American site is at the Moody Gardens Hotel & Spa, 7 Hope Blvd, Galveston, TX 77554, 409-744-4673. While no one has to stay at that hotel, at this instant we are encouraging people in the United States and Canada to attend the site in Galveston.
That said, we are planning two video festival sites in Canada.
One is near London, Ontario. Here is information about the area:
Rooster Hill Ranch
Note that this is a working farm, so there will likely be noises from cattle, goats and chickens/roosters. There is one working dog in the house that is restricted to the mud room and 3 cats (2 more outside) that are friendly. Daily farming activities (checking/feeding critters) start around sunrise but I can start with chores away from the buildings first.
Lots of room for tents if anybody wants to “camp out”.
Room for a camper/RV if someone wants to use/bring one of those.
Nearby hotels:
Best Western Plus Stoneridge Inn & Conference Centre (13 minutes)
Cardinal Court Motel (15 minutes)
Ramada (20 minutes)
Courtyard (22 minutes)
Four Points (21 minutes)
London Travel Inn (22 minutes)
And lots more…
Nearby Restaurants:
20-30 minutes from all manner of dining in London
Local Attractions:
Grand Theatre (London, 35 minutes)
Stratford (3 theatres – world class + lots of restaurants, 1 hr)
Niagara Falls (2 hr, lots of hotels there if one wanted to stay overnight and return to the farm for services)
Butterfly Conservatory (Niagara Falls, 2 hr)
Grand Bend (fantastic sunsets over Lake Huron) (1 hr)
Point Pelee National Park (most southern point in Canada) (1.5 hr)
Toronto Zoo (2.5 hrs)
CN Tower (Toronto, 2 hrs)
Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto, 2 hrs)
Royal Botanical Gardens (Burlington, 1.5 hrs)
Lots of “lesser” tourist attractions (like Parks Blueberries, various smaller theatres, etc.)
Farm-bound Activities:
Feeding critters, collecting eggs, flying kites in the hay field, nature walks in the bush or hay field, fishing in the pond, sunset watching (can be quite spectacular), fire pit/marshmallow roast (will need to get twigs from the bush earlier in the day), deer watching (evenings), feeding from the garden, bicycle riding (2 or 3 bikes, plus a couple of small child bikes), learning how to grow vegetables naturally, learning about basic chicken husbandry, making butter/yogurt, visiting a small local dairy to see where the milk at the store comes from (and maybe see how cheese is made?). BBQ on one day?
For more information send an email to nlafonta@hotmail.com
The other video site is in New Brunswick, but it may not allow transfers. For more information, send an email to giseleghaddon@gmail.com
Although we have those video sites planned in Canada, we strongly recommend that Canadians should be attending the USA site or one of the many international sites if possible. Canadians normally have no problems being able to cross into the USA, so we are encouraging attendance in Galveston.
We expect to have a feast site in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which those in Rwanda would attend in 2024.

A Feast of Tabernacles site is planned for New Zealand.
Richie White sent the following:
Hello Dr Thiel,
Just to let you know that we have decided on Mt Maunganui, about 2 – 3 hours drive south of Auckland, North Island as our FOT site for 2024. We have secured a large home along the beach for our accommodation and it will be used for services. Any enquiries can be made to my email, aerotriker@gmail.com.About Mt Maunganui:Set on a peninsula, Mount Maunganui is a laid-back suburb known for the extinct Mount Maunganui volcano, a sacred Maori site with ocean-view hiking trails. Long, sandy Main Beach is popular for its surf breaks, while Pilot Bay Beach has calm waters for paddle boarding. The Mount Hot Pools complex offers saltwater bathing and spa treatments, while brunch spots, global restaurants, and boutiques fill the town centre.Included is a photo attachment. The NZ $ is buying about .60c US at the moment and really makes this type of destination very attractive, plus the climate is super good as we are entering into early summer at this time.Warm regardsRitchie White

We booked a whole 2-storey house, more than enough to house our number. This is within the BIGSAND RESORT & CAMPGROUNDS.
For further details, contact Joe Lumpay, email is joecags_lumpay@yahoo.com
