Europe is the worst enemy of the US? You cannot be serious. Islamism, Russia, illegal immigrants… whatever, but surely not Europe! Are we not still together in NATO? Do we not conduct huge amounts of trade every day? Do we not share the same cultural roots, the same civilization, the same vision of the future? Did France not give the US her famous Statue of Liberty – “Liberty Enlightening the World?”

In Western Europe, politically speaking, in the press and in universities, either you are on the “Left,” or you are a pariah. If you are a pariah, you are most likely to be prosecuted for “Islamophobia”, “racism”, discrimination or some other “trumped up” charge. …
Americans, therefore, would do well to understand that for the time being the “Cultural Left” is so deeply entrenched in Western Europe and the EU, that their worst ideological enemy is not the Middle East or Russia: it is Europe.
Those who gave the Statue of Liberty to America in 1886 “to commemorate the perseverance of freedom and democracy in the United States” are willingly trampling their own people’s liberties today through courts of appointed, unelected, unaccountable ideologues. It is more than political ideology that will not stop at the shores of the European Union.
Europe will reorganize and its top leaders will then give their power to one called the Beast:
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war … (Revelation 17:12-14)
The Bible says that the end time Beast of the Sea will be a warring power that will surprise the world:
1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)
This is a European power. Daniel 7:2-8 refers to this Beast arising from the “Great Sea.” The “Great Sea” that bordered the ancient lands of Israel (Numbers 34:6-7; Joshua 1:4; 9:1; 23:4; Ezekiel 47:13-16) is the Mediterranean Sea–and that is the sea that Daniel was referring to. Despite some false claims by some, the Beast power is not a nation like Russia, which does not border the Mediterranean Sea, but Europe which does (Russia, however, will be a factor in eliminating the European beast power, see also The Eurasian Union, the Kings of the East, and Bible Prophecy). A comparison of the beasts in Revelation 13 and Daniel 7 shows that they share many of the same characteristics (for some details, you may wish to watch the YouTube video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).
The Bible teaches that Europe will end up with a “great army” (Daniel 11:25) and will one day takeover the UK, Canada, and USA (cf. Daniel 8:25; 11:39; USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses). This is what I (and some others) have termed as World War III. And later, this great army will defeat a confederation of nations in North Africa and the Middle East (Daniel 11:40-43). Notice:
36 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.
40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. (Daniel 11:36-44)
The old Roman Empire pretty much controlled both the northern and southern sides of the Mediterranean Sea and the Beast of the Sea (also known as the King of the North) will as well.
More and more in Europe are willing to publicly state that Europe needs to spend more on its military. Notice the following example of that (bolding in source):

Estonia’s ambassador to Poland, Harri Tiido, said in an interview with Euractiv.pl on Thursday that he agreed with U.S. president Donald Trump—Europe indeed needed to spend more on its defense. …
Asked about Estonia’s position in matters of European security, Tiido said that the issue would become clearer after the German elections in September. “They have great influence on the rest of the continent. Like it or not, Germany has great influence in Europe,” Tiido commented. …
As he sees it, there could also be structural defense cooperation based on local conditions. “This kind of cooperation scheme already exists in Scandinavia, among the Benelux countries, and between Germany and France,” he added.
These issues needed to be raised at the European Union level and in the context of close cooperation with NATO as well.
“The member states would need to be part of a common army, which would then be used for state, EU, NATO, and international peacekeeping needs. We can’t separate the defense of the European Union and its security policy from NATO, but we could build up a European pillar within NATO,” Tiido said.

As regular readers of this news page are aware, I warned that Donald Trump’s rise would cause the Europeans to move more towards unity and increasing their military abilities. Europe intends to spread its ideology around the world. It intends to cooperate with the USA and NATO while it builds up its military might. The Bible shows that it will later destroy the power with the strongest fortresses (which in the 21st century would have to be the USA).
Those who think that Europe will remain a friend and not betray the USA may wish to consider the following:

The descendants of Manasseh were prophesied to be great (Genesis 49:13, 17-19). The USA, which has descent from Manasseh (see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel), is considered to be “great among the nations.”
And Bible prophecy shows that a great power will be betrayed by its “friends.”
Europe is beginning its military rise and will turn against the USA when it is considers that action to be in Europe’s best interest. The stage for this is being set.
