News of Those Once Affiliated with the Global Church of God
Since the November 1998 takeover of the old GCG by the board in the
U.S., those once with GCG went to many places. Most of the members
and ministers ultimately went with the Living
Church of God (LCG),
8-15% went with the Church of God, a Christian Fellowship (CGCF) and
smaller percentages ended up with David Pack's Restored Church of God (RCG), Harold Smith's
Church of God Fellowship, Northwest (CGFnw), the Continuing Church of God (CCOG), and other groups (at least
one which is outside the U.S. uses the term Global Church of God). On
July 1, 2001, eight ministers resigned from CGCF and formed the Church
of the Eternal God (CEG), similar in name, but not related, to the
Eternal Church of God (ECG--founded by a minister removed from the
original GCG ministry for impropriety). About a month later CGCF (USA)
dissolved and most then with it ended up in the United Church of God (UCG).
One former GCG minister (Ronald Laughland) became pastor of the
Wholeworld Church of God. In 2004, Raymond McNair, having been in GCG,
CGCF, LCG, then went on his own and formed Church of God, 21st Century
(COG21); later he died and that group disbanded. Don Haney, once in GCG/LCG,
formed the Church of God In Peace and Truth, renamed Congregation of God in Peach and Truth--which looks to be legally inactive. In 2005, Ben Faulkner, who
was in GCG/LCG, formed the Church of the Sovereign God (CotSG). In
2006, Charles Bryce who was in GCG/LCG left, and formed the Enduring
Church of God (En COG). In 2010, several of the main leaders who went
to UCG from CGCF left it and went to a group called COGWA. A couple of people, like Norman Edwards (Servants' News/Shepherd's Voice),
left GCG well before the 1998 takeover (he has 'Nashville Christian Media'). In 2013, Rod Reynolds left LCG and formed COG Messenger. On
12/15/11, a minister in good-standing with LCG anointed Bob Thiel with
oil and prayed that God would grant him a double-portion of His Spirit
(see also How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God):
and things have not been the same since (Bob Thiel still, of course,
supports the goals and biblical beliefs of Philadelphia era of the
Church of God). Website links for most of those who were once part of
GCG and that have websites can be found at the COGlinks
page. In 2012, certain heresies were officially introduced,
accepted, and/or promoted by LCG. After concluding that insufficient value was placed on
the truth (and keeing their word) by certain leaders of LCG and that
they no longer held to biblical church governance and could not as is be
used to lead the final phase of the work (see also Why Bob Thiel Left the Living Church of God), on 12/28/12 Bob Thiel was led to form, and then announced, the beginning of the Continuing Church of God (CCOG). In August 2020, Sheldon Monson left LCG and was 'marked' by LCG on 8/19/20 and then on 9/05/20 he announced Church of God Assembly (CGA). The Continuing Church of God (CCOG) is the second largest group, in terms of members, of those groups whose leaders were once part of GCG (LCG is largest). This page reports on those groups that somehow once had ties to the old GCG.

12/24/22 a.m. Today is the first day of Tevet on the Hebrew calendar. It is another day that David Pack will be proven wrong. Marc Cebrian wrote the following:

Related to his prediction being wrong about today, I had denounced him last month (see RCG’s David Pack made two more predictions that will soon be proven to be false). And yes, David Pack will be wrong about today.
12/10/22 a.m. As mentioned in the post 12/02/22 p.m., David Pack was proven wrong about his prediction for December 8th.
Sadly, that makes Laodicean Christians dismiss the idea that God can have any prophets now.
Yet, prophets were expected for the last days.
The late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God (WCG), Herbert W. Armstrong, basically said so in a 1981 sermon (scripture is from the KJV):
All right, now there’s another prophecy for the people …
Joel 2:28-29 And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: (29) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
So there is a time coming when God will start pouring out His spirit on human beings. … Day of Pentecost, 3000 were baptized. Peter preached a sermon. They were pricked in their hearts. God began to draw them. God was now… Remember He said, “I will pour out of my spirit on all flesh.” All right, there’s a duality of that. (Armstrong HW. Building The Temple. Sermon, February 14, 1981)
Herbert W. Armstrong was correct about the time coming when God would pour out His Spirit as well as the duality. There was a duality to what Peter preached in Acts 2–and that duality is for our current time!
Therefore, dreams and prophesy were expected for our day!
Remember that there were dreams (Matthew 1:20, 2:13-22; 27:9; Acts 16:9) AND prophets (e.g. Acts 15:32, 21:10; 1 Corinthians 13:9) in the New Testament (see also How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God).
On that Day of Pentecost, here is some of what the Apostle Peter taught:
14 … “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. (Acts 2:14b-18)
This is a prophecy, according to the Bible, for the last days.
We are in the last days (see also Does God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? What Year Does the 6,000 Years End?).
Therefore, dreams and prophesy were expected for our day!
Has this happened in the 21st century?
Yes.
Would not spiritual and prophetic knowledge include making predictions inspired by God and having a better understanding of prophecy than the non-Philadelphian COGs?

This answered Bob Thiel’s prayer. Gaylyn Bonjour also confirmed on November 28, 2019 his belief that his prayer was answered. |

Clearly the above are not all coincidental nor the only result of analytical news skills and biblical knowledge, particularly on those that were related to the health of Dr. Roderick and Sheryl Meredith.
Jesus said that fruits were the criteria to determine true vs. false prophets (John 7:15-20). The Continuing Church of God has the true fruits.
If only two of the confirmed dreams and/or prophetic fulfillments were the result of something from God (cf. Matthew 18:16), then this is Divine validation of Bob Thiel’s prophetic status. And since no other COG has God’s confirmation of a prophetic leader like this, this is something that any claiming to be true Church of God Christians should pay attention to. And, of course, anyone who accepts and truly understands biblical church governance realizes that prophets are only considered second to apostles (1 Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 4:11)–so if there are no accepted apostles today, those outside of CCOG should consider that they need to properly respond to Philadelphian biblical church governance (see also The Bible, Peter, Paul, John, Polycarp, Herbert W. Armstrong, Roderick C. Meredith, and Bob Thiel on Church Government and Herbert W. Armstrong, the Philadelphia Church, & the Mantle).
Do not be Laodicean (Revelation 3:14-18) about this–“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21, KJV).
God expects Christians to accept the criteria in His word.
The Laodiceans do not want to hear prophets and even Jesus has to knock to get them to pay even minimal attention:
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)
Jesus did NOT say He would knock the door down to force Laodiceans to change! He said He would knock. Can you accept His knocking?
Jesus also told the Laodiceans to “anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see” (Revelation 3:18). The salve is responding to the work of God’s Spirit as His word teaches how it would impact the last days (cf. Revelation 3:22). Jesus “advised the spiritually blind Laodiceans to buy eyesalve of Him that they might have spiritual vision” (The Seven Cities of Asia Minor. Study guide for Ambassador College. Quotes from 1947 book by Taylor Bunch).
Will you answer Jesus’ criteria in the Bible? Do you have the proper spiritual vision to realize that prophetic dreams were to exist in these last days?
Although Jesus gave many signs (John 2:11; 6:2, 26; 7:31; 9:16; 11:47; 12:37), the people apparently wanted different ones:
37 But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:
“Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” (John 12:37-38)
Jesus denounced those who wanted different signs from Him (Matthew 12:38-39). Non-Philadelphians are often unwilling to accept God’s signs–that’s the biblical reality. God does not always show signs or manifestations of His Spirit the way many seem to think He has to.

These briefest of examples establish plainly that the Pastor General of The Restored Church of God has a documented pattern of speaking lies. Calling them falsehoods and error and biblical fraud has been a cautious way to pull the punches of reality.
However, playtime is over, and the velvet gloves are coming off.
“The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 407)” was given by David C. Pack on November 30, 2022. He continues pushing the Christmas-Christ Coming pretty hard and will continue it this Saturday when he force-feeds Part 408 to the brethren.
The proven-by-history prophetic lies in RCG have been going on for over ten years. The “I am an apostle” lie has been going on since 2005, proving that the more often a lie is repeated, the more “real” it feels.
But a lie is still a lie no matter how long you tell it.
@ 00:03 We all know the date that is a few days ahead. So, we’re nearing a final, complete picture of all that happens.
December 9 at sunset Jerusalem time next Friday is the beginning of Kislev 16 when the First Kingdom arrives to give Elijah some juice to take open his big mouth to the world.
The picture is far from complete, and nothing is final with him.
One would think that with all the false predictions from Dacvid Pack that all would have left RCG long ago.
Many not in RCG will look at this and conclude that it is obvious that people should leave--and it is.
However, all Christians need to examine themselves as most, according to Jesus, are Laodicean and need to change.
They tell themselves that their group does not have the blantant false predictions like RCG, so they are okay.
But Jesus said:
14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--
18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Just because it should be obvious that David Pack is "cold," do not overlook whether or not you may be lukewarm.
11/25/22 p.m. Marc Cebrian, a former RCG employee and member, reported the following words from and about David Pack:

“…it can’t go past the half-way mark in Kislev…”
So, this is the next play. As it has been this year. The full moon. The new moon. The first of the month. The fifteenth of the month. If not last month, then this month. If not this month, then next month.
On and on and on and on and on it goes. Save the archival quotes from Passover, as Dave will need to copy-and-paste them this spring. Consider that very likely, too.
This is a soft date-set with a new line in the sand. All his 30-day hot air turned cold.
Kislev 15 is December 9 for all you heathens out there. It turns another Dave quote into ash.
Part 403 – November 5, 2022

David C. Pack is not a man of his word. He is a caver. He is not a closer. He cannot deliver. His bark is worse than his bite. His assurances mean nothing to him and should mean nothing to you.
'Part 403' is the four hundred and third sermon in a series by David Pack full of errors and missed dates. Jesus is not coming for salvation in November nor December of 2022. David Pack has repeatedly been proven wrong.
As I have written for years, I consider him to act as a bully and doubt his conversion. He is about to be proven wrong again.
11/03/22 a.m. The following was in CCOG's Letter to the Brethren: November 3, 2022:
We made a deal late last Thursday with Radio Miami International (WRMI), and began broadcasting last Sunday night in North America (Monday in the Eastern Hemisphere). WRMI was fairly inexpensive and more cost effective than other options we looked into.
WRMI says this about its background:
Radio Miami International was founded in 1989 by Jeff White (currently General Manager) and Kiko Espinosa (chief engineer, who passed away in 2005). RMI began broadcasting in 1989 …
In December of 2013, Radio Miami International purchased the former Family Radio shortwave station in Okeechobee, Florida, and we moved all of our transmissions to the new, much larger facility in Okeechobee. Our transmitter site in Hialeah (Miami) was closed, although we maintain an office and a studio in Miami. The Okeechobee site is the largest privately-owned shortwave station in the Western Hemisphere, with 14 transmitters (most of them 100,000 watts) and 23 antennas beamed in 11 different directions around the globe. We now have a studio and administrative offices in Okeechobee in the 16,000-square-foot transmitter building about 20 miles north of Lake Okeechobee. The antennas and transmitters are located on a 660-acre site (that’s one square mile of land) …
WRMI broadcasts some of its own programming, mainly the program “Viva Miami” (in both English and Spanish editions) with travel features, letters from listeners, music, interviews with studio guests etc. We also co-produce the weekly DX program “Wavescan” with Adventist World Radio. But most of our airtime is sold to outside organizations. including political, religious, commercial and cultural organizations, overseas relays and more. Most of our programming is in English or Spanish, but some programs are in Creole, Portuguese and other languages.
WRMI is a member of the National Association of Shortwave Broadcasters (NASB), and WRMI General Manager Jeff White is currently Secretary-Treasurer of the NASB.
Family Radio was formerly affiliated with the late Harold Camping, who I repeatedly denounced (see Harold Camping’s Teachings About the End of the World Do Not Agree with the Bible). That said, Family Radio did have a broad reach and we will see how this new station will work out for us. But it truly gives us an opportunity to reach people in ways that we have not in the past.

In Asia, this program would begin at 10:30 am Japan/Korea Standard Time and 09:30 China Standard Time on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
With WRMI, we now have coverage in much of North America and parts of Asia. We had also hoped to truly reach India, but there were no available options from WRMI at this time.
With European Gospel Radio (which is out of Milan, Italy) we are covering Europe, parts of the Middle East, and parts of North Africa.
We are also on radio stations located in Kenya, Ghana, and the Philippines.
That said, after our first broadcast on WRMI, we received an email contact from someone who listened to our The Bible and Halloween Facts episode in Spain. This would have been at Monday at 0230 am in Spain. What is interesting about that is Spain (or any part of Europe) was NOT one of the areas that WRMI indicated that its 5850 kHz signal would properly cover.
However, we knew shortwave was received around the world. Being on two different shortwave frequencies will help us reach people we otherwise would not have reached (cf. Matthew 24:14).
Radio is a proclamation door that we use to reach those we otherwise would not reach. It also assists us we work to toward doing our part to fulfill Romans 11:25 about the full number of Gentiles coming in (see also What About Romans 11:25 and the Full Number of the Gentiles?).

Good evening brethren!
By every account, the mysteries revealed in parts 400 and 401 have electrified the Church.
Everything we learned – including the arrival of the 1335 tomorrow morning – remains certain. However, additional STUNNING mysteries have come clear! We may wait a bit into the month of Cheshvan – at least long enough for a part 402 explaining these things that everyone must hear. Our wait is not long.

No, the 1335 days did not start on October 25, 2022 as the above is teaching. RCG has so many obvious prophetic failures and doctrinal errors that it is astounding any are still with it. Regarding the 1335 and being "certain," RCG is certainly wrong.
As far as the 1335 days go, back in 2008, I denounced Ronald Weinland for declaring that the 1335 days had began (see CGPKG: Concerns About Ronald Weinland's Church of God-Preparing for the Kingdom of God). In 2009, I denounced the now late James Malm for his false claim about the start of the 1335 days of Danial 12 (see also Shining Light: Error-Ridden James Malm Not Doing an Elijah Work).

Brethren, for many reasons, the 10 days of Revelation 2:10
end IN the day of the Lord (meaning inside it). Recall the many events that happen “IN that day”—including completion of the saints who are “blameless IN the day of our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Cor. 1:8)—again meaning INSIDE this day, not at its start or end. While the fulfillment we await “tarries” (for two days after Atonement), we faithfully “wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay” (Hab. 2:3)!
In simple terms, 9 of the 10 days are before the Last Great Day, and the 10th day ends IN that day at “evening time” (meaning “dusk now” in the Hebrew). This was extremely hard to discern until God dropped a load of proof on us. The heavenly signs (6th seal) close the 10th day before God intervenes at evening to extend it, bringing “all the saints with Him” for what starts His wrath. We thought there were three days before the Feast and then the remaining seven preceded the Last Great Day. In fact there are two days before the Feast (one is a full Sabbath) and then the remaining eight complete the Last Great Day before God lengthens it.
The picture you already have is correct—except that timing was too early by one day. Now the first Kingdom arrives at the exact moment the Sabbath occurs (Jerusalem time)! Just recall Acts 1:6-7.

09/23/22 p.m. Tried to find out, without success, current information on Don Haney's Congregation of God in Peach and Truth--it no longer seems to have an internet presence. When Don Haney
left LCG je first formed the Church of God In Peace and Truth he stated he would be using the internet to fulfill Matthew 24:14, but that did not work. The last information I have seen suggests that Don Haney went to be more of a Messianic, than COG, leader.

Let me add it is not just Facebook. Google is threatening us with religious ad restriction. Although my contact with Google this week said we were still okay, I have my doubts and am concerned that this will change.
Our successful Google campaign has had 418,000,000 computer impressions around the world–yes, close to a half a billion.
Yet, here is a new Google policy that may impact enough to stop us:
Religious belief in personalized advertising
Ads that use personalized advertising features can’t target sensitive interest categories, like religious beliefs.
The attitudes of Big Tech towards religion are becoming part of a more and more disturbing trend.
Big Tech takes money promoting anti-religious views related to abortion and sexual immorality as well as anti-science views related to evolution and COVID.
The fact that Big Tech will give up revenue related to religion shows that they value pushing Satan’s agenda above profits. Sadly, we see Big Tech walking “according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:20).
And, expect censorship to worsen as the prophet Amos was inspired to warn about the following to come:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)
We are getting closer to that time and already seen some aspects of this.
We look to only be in the first stages of this prophesied censorship.
That being said, remember that Jesus said:
4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9:4)
Following His example, we long have not trusted Big Tech platforms like YouTube–and that is a reason we also use other platforms, like BitChute, Rumble, and Brighteon.
We also have taken steps this year to increase our radio presence.
These latest moves by Facebook and Google are reasons for us to consider further expanding our use of other media.
As it turns out, yesterday, just prior to receiving Andre Nelson’s report, I spoke to another shortwave radio owner about possibly expanding our radio presence.
While we still use the internet, moves by Big Tech (including censorship and shadow banning) are reasons to look towards radio.
So, we plan to look into this even more.
Despite the efforts by Big Tech to silence us, Matthew 24:14 (related to the Gospel of the Kingdom of God reaching the world as a witness before the end) will be fulfilled. And we are striving to do our part for that to happen.

CCOG RADIO HARVEST REPORT
We are glad to write a radio harvest report. Due to political and electioneering period, we were not able to renew full month radio program with Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation. The program charges for this government station is also very high and we are looking forward to find an alternative Kiswahili and English national station apart from KBC. However, they gave us 30 minutes airtime for two sessions on 31st July 2022 and 6th August 2022. Hope you will see from the attached receipts.
We therefore opted for Radio Milambo 103.8FM and Radio Togotane 88.3 FM. The management of radio Togotane welcome me back to their radio station.
The following are the radio report for the two different stations: We have so far aired out two discourses on Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation (KBC Mayienga 97.3 FM) and 8 discourses on Togotane 88.3 FM. We still have 8 other programs with radio Togotane. We have also aired out 8 programs with radio Milambo 103.8 FM and still have other 8 more programs to air.
Deacon Ochieng reported 120 telephone and other responses to being on Radio Togotane 88.3 FM (covers Nairobi, Kenya), 63 from KBC Mayienga 97.3 FM, and 167 from Milambo 103.8 FM.
We plan to continue to be on two of those stations for the time being.
As far as additional fruits go, I received a couple of emails yesterday from a pastor who lives in Isebania on the Kenya/Tanzania border who had heard deacon Ochieng on the radio and who is interested in becoming part of the CCOG. I sent him links to various books we have for him to get a greater understanding of what we teach before he and those with him may become part of the CCOG.
Radio is a door that has been opened for the Philadelphian Christians (cf. Revelation 3:7-13) and has been used since the beginning of the Philadelphian era of the Church of God.

We are seeing more anti-religious bias by Big Tech, which is one of the reasons that the CCOG has been increasing its presence on the radio.
09/05/22 a.m. This morning, saw an online advertisement from CEG that had the following:
Coming soon – a 3rd temple
Plans to build a 3rd temple are ready. Construction will soon begin.
It is distressing when any COG spends tithes to promote something that is false.
Jews cannot possibly construct the Temple of God. No massive '3rd temple' needs to be built in this age--nor is such a massive temple about to be constructed.
Instead of realizing that, CEG is wasting money promoting something that is false.

08/28/22 a.m. Today, I was able to confirm the death of David Meredith, son of the late Roderick C. Meredith and Sheryl Meredith, who were founders of the Living Church of God (LCG). David Meredith reportedly died Friday of a heart attack.
Although I did not know David well, I did have dinner once with just him and his parents. At that dinner, after I had explained how LCG should change its approach to the internet, Dr. Meredith seemed to be puzzled. Then David Meredith, who for a time handled LCG's online "social media" presence, told his father I was correct. Some time later, Dr. Meredith offered me a job running LCG's internet--but not on terms I believed would be effective, so I declined the offer.
That said, David Meredith was only 43.
My condolences to those who were close to him.
08/26/22 p.m. It has been a while since I reported anything about COG Messenger, but that is mainly because of what seems to be its somewhat low key presence.
After visiting its website today, let me state that it does, like the CCOG, put out a quarterly magazine. However it does not seem to have materials in numerous languages, have a radio or television presence, do much internationally, etc.
08/19/22 a.m. At its LCG.org website, LCG has the following headline:
The Living Church of God follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and preaches the Gospel without compromise
Yet, that is not really accurate.
LCG evangelists Richard Ames and the late Dr. Roderick C. Meredith told me that they did compromise with not proclaiming certain of their teachings in order to not offend Protestant television station owners as well as to not endanger their tax exempt status as a 501 (c) (3) corporation, and to also reduce the risk of persecution.
Anyway, I left LCG because it had integrity matters, its compromising the truth, and intentional teaching (and still teaching) doctrines, historical, and prophetic matters that three of its top evangelists told me when I was part of LCG (see also Why Bob Thiel Left the Living Church of God).
As far as 501 (c) (3) goes, the CCOG took a different route. See 501(c)(3): Why the Continuing Church of God chose a better option.
08/12/22 a.m. In its newsletter today, CEG has the following:
We continue to explain that Matthew 28:19, assuming the passage is genuine, does not, in any event, teach a mandatory “baptismal formula”:
“We have seen from the biblical record that the disciples were baptized in, or into, the name, or possession, of Jesus Christ. There is no biblical example where someone was actually baptized in, or into, the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We read consistently that disciples were baptized in, or into, Christ, or in, or into, the name of Jesus Christ ONLY.
Yes, Matthew 28:19 is part of the Bible--see Is Matthew 28:19 in the Bible?
Furthermore, here is what Herbert W. Armstrong taught in his booklet All About Water Baptism:
Notice Matthew's version of the Great Commission:
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations ... " surely the disciples were to teach these nations that which Jesus had taught them -- the Message God had sent Him to deliver and proclaim to the world -- the Good News of the government of God -- a Message that has not been preached for 1800 years or more! "... Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Matt. 28:19-20).
Here again, in the final Great Commission for preaching the Gospel in this age, Christ commanded BAPTISM. And here He specifically stated "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost [Spirit]."
In Name of Jesus Only
Since some today are being baptized over again "in the name of Jesus ONLY" in order to eliminate the Father, and the Holy Spirit, this should be considered here. The contention of these people is that this passage in Matthew 28:19 is the only place in the Bible where the names of the Father and the Holy Spirit are commanded. They argue that a thing must be established "in the mouth of two or more witnesses," and since they claim there is but this one witness to this command, it must be rejected. All other passages mention only the name of Jesus.
The explanation is that two or more witnesses are required only in the case of HUMAN testimony -- where one accuses another. That instruction does not apply to the divine Witness, as inspired by the Holy Spirit, and to assume it does is surely close to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! On the contrary, "ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable ...." And, THE SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN! If you can break, disprove, reject, or throw out this one scripture, you can reject all the rest!
In this passage, the word translated "in" should properly be translated "into." The meaning, then, is that repentant believers are baptized INTO God the Father, and into Christ the Son, and into the Holy Spirit. But the one who plunges the new believer under the water performs the act IN THE NAME OF -- that is, by authority of, JESUS CHRIST. Why? Because Jesus said "ALL POWER" -- and that includes all authority -- "is given unto me in heaven and in earth." He has ALL authority! Either we do it by His authority, or else we are doing it without any authority.

CCOG continues to "contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 3).

This is of interest as generally, RCG employees have used the homes on the compound, and as RCG has less employees it would not need as much housing. This also could be related to financial issues affecting RCG. For over a decade, I have written that the following was applicable to RCG:
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. (2 Peter 2:1-3)
Yes, I consider that RCG's leader, David Pack, is a false teacher. His destruction, in my view, has been going on for years as RCG has shrank in size as CCOG has grown.
I still expect RCG to one day implode.
The listing of a property by RCG may signal a step in that direction.

Staff and visitors to Headquarters will now be instructed, “Never mention the word ‘Tammuz’ to Mr. Pack. That gives him a brain boo-boo and his pouty lip will take hours to go away.”
In Part 384, Dave speculated (no utterance from God, mind you) it “could” happen from between Av 1 to Av 5. If he had left it there, then we could have called this, “David C. Pack’s Extended Weekend Failure.”
But, his self-doubt broke free from the mental shackles and was running rampant.

David Pack has long been false. Jesus is not about to make a special trip and go to Wadsworth, Ohio. Jesus will not be returning before 2029 and I believe that is too most like too early.
I continue to pray for David Pack and others in RCG that God will open their eyes to the truth.

According to written and oral reports I have received from Africa this month, we now have over 7,500 congregants around the world (includes children and other unbaptized persons) in the Continuing Church of God.
The New Testament teaches that the “full number” of the Gentiles are prophesied to come in before Jesus returns (Romans 11:25; What About Romans 11:25 and the Full Number of the Gentiles?) and we have seen growth in Gentile congregants in Asia (India and the Philippines), Africa and other places. Furthermore, our upcoming radio broadcast out of Italy should help us reach more European Gentiles (as well as some Israelites) starting next month.
As far as reaching those of Israelitish descended backgrounds, most of our video views come from them. Most of the listeners to the Genesis Network program I frequently am a guest on (last time I was on was yesterday related to my COGwriter post Pope Doubles Down On NATO-Ukraine Comments: Russian Invasion Was “Provoked” & Pope Francis: There are many ‘restorers’ in the US who do not accept Vatican II) and most of the multiple millions of computers our online campaigns reach are also those with Israelite heritage–so we are not ignoring Gentiles nor Israelites (cf. Matthew 28:19-20).
Because of obeying Jesus’ commands to go to all nations, along with God’s blessings, the CCOG has been the fastest growing x-WCG COG in the 21st century. We have used tithes and offerings to pay for trips, literature, radio, videos, internet support, online campaigns, visits, building materials, youth camps, festival assistance, equipment, seeds, work projects, and other things to reach people around the world, and including the Gentiles and Israelites (cf. Letter to the Brethren: January 20, 2022).
We have also added more congregants without a prior WCG-related background than any other Church of God who leaders had ties to the old WCG than any we are aware of.
Why mention that?
Because Jesus said:
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:18-20)
The fruits are there, for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Yet, sadly, many people are affected by prejudices and other factors which stop them from acting on the truth and more directly supporting the reaching of the Gentiles. The Jews of the Apostle Paul’s day were not particularly impressed with Gentiles becoming Christian, but that was part of God’s plan. Most Laodiceans do not understand how God is working at this time, and they also ignore and/or discount aspects of His word (cf. How does the Continuing Church of God differ from other Sabbatarian COG groups? and Does the CCOG have the confirmed signs of Acts 2:17-18?; watch also 50+ Laodicean Prophetic Errors).
Jesus taught that the end does NOT come until the ‘Gospel of the Kingdom of God‘ reaches enough nations (Matthew 24:14) and, based on Paul’s writings, we also see that “the full number” (as the NIV, NLT, BSB, CEV, GNT, HCSV, ISV, and NET Bible, put Romans 11:25) of Gentiles is something God wants in this age come in. This is something that must be done and we in the CCOG have a lot of fruits related to that.
Although God is the one who calls (cf. John 6:44), we in the CCOG seem to be having major success in assisting with getting the message out to many that are responding to God’s calling.
Google Campaign
Spent time yesterday with our Google representative about our campaign. We worked on optimization of our reach, without increasing our budget.
We will see how that turns out in time.
Currently our Google campaign is doing very well.
In the month of May, Google reports that we made 14,343,187 computer impressions–that means computers around the world were reached over 14 million times with parts of the good news. This is up over 40% from the previous month. We have been and ARE reaching millions.
It seems like never before in Church of God history have so few reached so many with so little resources. God has blessed the tithes and offerings we have received to give a witness to multiple millions around the world.
We have information on church history, the true Church of God, and God’s plan of salvation that we are promoting around the world through our Google campaign as part of the work we are doing to assist in fulfilling Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:19-20, and Romans 11:25. We also have a campaign with Microsoft that targets and reaches Sabbath keepers around the world.
Yes, people are being reached around the world, and the "fruits" of the efforts are there for those whose eyes will see and ears will hear.
06/11/22 a.m. In part 374 of his sermon series, RCG's David Pack reportedly stated the following:
@ 1:32:49 “So, if it’s true that I am Elijah the prophet now, then this is a lock for next week. It’s an absolute lock. If somehow if these are just “the last days” of my sermons and I it’s it’s just a charge I’ve filled before I become Joshua, I I I’m just trying to be heart to heart with you. It’s a dilemma. You heard what I said as recently as yesterday, I’m telling, not foretelling. But if if if the there’s I don’t see a way outta this. Now, if if if this means it’s locked and we have under six days to go, it’s wonderful. If there’s some other reason to believe, I’ll be the first prophet [while also part of the God Family] since the Garden, since the world began who was never a human prophet, but was an apostle, but I’m somehow like Moses, but Moses went as a human being and, you know, okay, he was raised, so then I’m raised for a period of time, uh but never never as a prophet…”
@ 1:34:18 “…And how do I explain the fact that I would eat the book [in Ezekiel] after God executed hundreds of millions of people when I’m supposed to sound before they die? See the problem? So, I I I look, you know my heart. As recently as this week, I’ve gone I’ve said, ‘No no no no, I’m not I’m not Elijah.’ I still wanna say I’m not. But I am left with those problems. And if there’s another way to explain the verses, okay. Then maybe it’s not as certain next week. But if it’s engraved in stone and I’m ‘rushing to call it out,’ which sounds like ‘the last days of my voice’: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and we’re waiting for the 1335 and now it’s solid, it looks suspicious. It looks suspicious. So, I leave you with that. It is what it is. Am I telling or foretelling? I guess I could say, ‘not sure.’”
Anyway, David Pack has continually been wrong about what would happen on certain dates. David Pack is not the Elijah and has not restored all things. I doubt his conversion and in my opinion, he is delusional.

In the prophetic book of Ezekiel, God warns today’s Israelite-descended nations of the fate coming upon them because they have rejected Him and His laws: “Disaster will come upon disaster, and rumor will be upon rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet; but the law will perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders” (Ezekiel 7:26).
A recent CNN article echoes the same story: “Disaster Upon Disaster: Wildfires Are Contaminating the West’s Depleting Water with Ashy Sludge” (CNN, May 29, 2022). ...
As time goes on, we see increasing signs of the approaching end of this age—just as the Bible has long foretold.

"Disaster will come upon disaster" is consistent with Jesus' warnings about "troubles" and the "beginning of sorrows" in Mark 13:8. When I was with LCG it started to teach that the beginning of sorrows had begun, but not specifics related to that or the rides of the horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Last night I had vision of the work in Malawi and Mozambique and since I was planning to visit the two countries in June or July, it will force me to visit the two countries and stay there for almost one month to visit all the congregations. That was my plan during my last visit but the rain was too much and roads were totally poor. I’m also planning to visit Ethiopia if the country is peaceful. Recently I received a call from pastor Sawek that one of the congregations in South rift valley needs my visit and I hope we will visit the congregation this month if they are ready. Evans.

Greetings from kenya. Pastor there is something that I didn't tell you when I was joining continuing church of God. I didn't say it because I thought it was just a dream. When I was joining continuing church of God, I saw a small white handkerchief. It was very white and in in it was written continuing church of God. When I was still looking it, it enlarged till become bigger. Then I woke up. I thought it was a dream. Then recently I saw the same handkerchief standing in Malawi just the same I saw it in kenya. The same size and enlarged like before. After a short time I saw if I was baptizing so many people in Malawi. After that I heard a voice telling me that you are a loved man.
The reason why I knew that it was a vision, you know very well that when I was joining CCOG, I came out one person and as I continue talking with people about CCOG, the church continues to grow very fast and right now, the church has expanded highly. Not because of my strength or any strength from a man but from GOD. I'm saying this because all people who God call in CCOG are working tirelessly to preach the gospel. I can see the work which is going on in rift valley, in kisii and in Nyanza, Pastors are really working. So what I saw about that handkerchief is the same to what I saw in kenya. The only different is, when I saw it in kenya, I didn't see that I'm baptizing many people. And voice I didn't here. Now if I saw it in Malawi and the kind of baptism I saw , tells me clearly that it is a vision. That is the reason why I want go to Malawi for almost one month preaching and visitation. Evans

The first dream Evans had was apparently in November 2013 (Evans could not recall the exact date), whereas the second was May 13, 2022. Evans Ochieng concluded that he was told he needed to quickly go to Malawi, so he left May 27, 2022 to stay one month (which is several times as long as most of his previous trips to Malawi).
Of course, despite the facts that the Bible prophesied dreams for the last days and that the old WCG said God would use dremans in the future, almost all outside of the CCOG have not taken this seriously. But, if people really believe the Bible, they should.

05/12/22 a.m. My wife Joyce and I arrived in Ireland a few hours ago. We expect to see some supporters and expect to conduct some research in a few locations on the Irish Isle.

05/07/22 a.m. Today, I watched an hour-long interview of a Marc Cebrian. He was interviewed by Dawn Blue of Wadsworth Community TV (WCTV).
Marc Cebrian was a member of the United Church of God, and had been baptized by them.
In time, he felt UCG not teaching enough of the biblical message. He then looked at PCG and RCG. After hearing more from David Pack, he became a member of the Restored Church of God.
Eventually he became an RCG employee involved in the television department in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Marc Cebrian mentioned that he and others had considered RCG's prophetic failures as a test that they needed to endure. Yet, after multiple failures, he realized that David Pack's messages contained too many errors. He also said the RCG ministers could not explain many of David Pack's prophetic positions, and that those positions changed a lot.He also indicated that he could predict what RCG would say about a new teaching, that Marc suspected was wrong, one it was shown to be wrong.
Marc Cebrian said felt he should no longer support promoting error through his television editing role. Because of that and David Pack's wrong declaration of David Pack declaring himself to be the Elijah, Marc Cebrian left.
In the interview he mentions that it was his recollection that RCG had 3500 members at its peak, but he last heard it had 1500 around the world. But he was not certain of the numbers.
He pointed out RCG ministerial hypocrisy related to double standards. He also dispelled various myths and other falsehoods some had about RCG. Basically he said that the members were nice people and were not violent. He, and Dawn Blue stated that RCG received proper permits for their buildings, etc. So, that should not be a conspiracy.
He was asked about PCG and basically said it was stricter than RCG and was wrong about its rules related to contact of non-PCG members.
Marc Cebrian properly asserted that the Bible proves that David Pack teachings show him to be false. He said that because of all of David Pack's changes, RCG's literature was almost all out of date, so that once someone who read it began to attend, they would find what they thought RCG taught on many prophetic matters was no longer so. He and Dawn Blue suggested that it ended up being some type of unintentional 'bait and switch.'
Dawn Blue repeatedly brought up finances and Marc Cebrian explained tithing. He then got into RCG's "common" teaching and explained how RCG would subtlety try look into people's finances and try to pressure those with assets to provide more of them to RCG. He also mentioned that David Pack got angry with an RCG minister who 'allowed' a married member who sold a house to allow his wife to keep about $100,000 and not give it to RCG.
Marc Cebrian mentioned that RCG originally hoped to have a farm on its Wadsworth property, but later changed that as David Pack felt that the size of its Wadsworth properties fit with some temple dimensions in the Book of Ezekiel, and that since David Pack believed that he and Jesus would reign out of Wadsworth, that they did not have the space for a farm.
Apparently the farm was something that former WCG, UCG, and RCG minister, the late Dale Schurter, was supposed to be involved with. Marc Cebrian made positive statements about Dale Schurter, whom I also have met.
While RCG hopes its public face is positive, David Pack has long coveted money and he has had real problems with numerous wrong predictions, eg. see a post from last year: RCG’s David Pack about to be proven wrong again.
David Pack is a false apostle.
As long-term readers of this page are aware, I have long reported that RCG was losing membership and David Pack has made many prophetic errors. More losses and prophetic failures are expected. See also RCG: Why Not the Restored Church of God?
05/06/22 a.m. LCG had the following it its e-zine today:
If you are watching world news, you cannot help but see the recent rise in food scarcity around the globe. Escalating food prices are part of this reality. And recently, 29 U.S. states have been culling chickens to prevent the spread of avian flu that is impacting nations around the globe (The Guardian, April 28, 2022). Millions of birds have been slaughtered, with over five million killed at just one egg factory in Iowa! In other news, cooking oil is becoming scarce in Europe. Several UK grocery stores are now rationing cooking oil in response to scarcity created by the conflict in Ukraine (The Guardian, April 26, 2022).
While grocery shelves are thinning and some products are out of stock or limited, the state of world food is still relatively good—at least in Western nations. The sobering truth is that the scarcity we are beginning to feel is going to intensify as we approach the end of the age. Bible prophecy indicates that the availability of oil and wine will be greatly reduced, and a day’s supply of wheat or barley will cost up to an entire day’s wages (Revelation 6:5–6).

The EVIDENCE is simply OVERWHELMING—FAR BEYOND what you COULD imagine!
No, it is not possible that Jesus could return tonight. The 'evidence' is overwhelming against it, if David Pack would believe the Bible instead of his imagination. David Pack has made many false predictions and this is yet another.
04/08/22 a.m. LCG reported the following:
Demand for booklets, Bible Study Courses, and other materials are also remaining strong, but we may need to pull back a bit as income is not keeping pace so far in 2022. We suspect the end of government stimulus checks of the last two years, along with high inflation, is much of the reason. However, as we all know, God owns everything and can provide for our needs, so let us draw close to Him as we approach the Passover and Unleavened Bread, now only a week away.—Gerald Weston
It is not clear if only it is only the Living Church of God whose income is down in 2022 or if it is also down for other COGs. In the case of the Continuing Church of God , our comparable income for 2022 is, so far, up from 2021.
02/18/22 a.m. In a coworker letter dated, August 24, 1982, HWA wrote:
We have RESTORED the TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST".
In his book, The Work of God Its Final Chapter, RCG's David Pack asks:
- Do you still believe that Christ’s gospel is solely about the KINGDOM OF GOD?
David Pack's implication is that was what the old Worldwide Church of God (WCG) taught. Having been a member of the old WCGr forty-five years ago and in it until years after Herbert W. Armstrong died,, I will state that the gospel being soley about the kingdom was not its position nor the position of the late Herbert W. Armstrong. None of the old WCG literature ever states that the gospel is SOLELY about the Kingdom of God.

02/04/22 a.m. In its newsletter today, CEG reported the following:
How the EU Can Become a Superpower
Euractiv wrote on January 27:
“The EU is losing its relative significance at the global stage every day; while we have the potential to be a superpower, it must be unlocked by necessary reforms, such as moving to qualified-majority voting in foreign affairs, according to Dr Federiga Bindi, expert on the EU’s foreign policy at a Citizens’ Panel of the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE)…
“‘ As long as one country can block decisions, we will always go with the lowest common denominator. … Getting rid of unanimity is the number one priority in foreign and security policy… In terms of their individual military potential, even the strongest EU member states like France have puny armies compared to the rest of the world. In addition, maintaining separate armed forces is a huge waste of money… The reality is that our armed forces, at least at the leadership level, are already highly integrated. Their commanders genuinely talk to each other and work together. Still, we need more integration on the lower levels…”
The Bible shows that Europe will reorganize and become a dictatorship (cf. Revelation 17:12-13; see also Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?)--so that will be the "final solution" to its need for massive consensus.
In its newletter today, LCG referred to a quote from the EU Observer that was part of the following:
20 January 2022
Power in Europe is becoming more intergovernmental and less democratic. ...
The world today is a very inhospitable place for the giant on clay feet that the EU has grown into. (Sophie in 't Veld. Macron's vision will hit EU Council veto buffers. https://euobserver.com/opinion/154133)
The above brings the following to mind:
41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. (Daniel 2:40-44)
So, some in Europe see that it has insufficient unity as well as feet of clay. That is consistent with what we would expect based upon biblical prophecies for where we now are at in terms of the prophetic 'timetable.' We are saddened to announce that Daryl Monson has been marked for cause. We pray he will repent and change soon so that he can be restored to fellowship and membership in the Church.
According to Scripture an individual must be “marked” for causing strife or division among members because not doing so will destroy the faith of others.
Romans 16:17 states: “Now I beseech you brethren, Mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them.”

Those are all the details that were posted above, but will add that I have met both Sheldon and Daryl Monson in the past. In my view, Daryl Monson has long had governance issues, so this does not come as a surprise.

Greetings from Kenya.
I have received reports from all YOUTH Camps in Kenya that the youth camp in December 2021 went very well. I recieved a very good report from kisii that youth camp was fantastic. But camp at Ndhiwa was wonderful. The youths were very happy and the way they handled the camp this year was quite different. We gave them one full day for their discussion amongst themselves. We noticed that the youths can have a high understanding and true discipline when they get together and teach one another. We saw some good response towards the youth camp. The youths were very happy and some of them wanted me to extend the camp for another week. I was with two deacons who came to teach the youths. Granton Otieno and Kennedy Odhiambo from Oyugis. They gave powerful massages to the youths. I touch a lot from the books of dating by Dr Bob. This book is a very good book for youths above 18 years old. It touches a lot that can help youths to understand about dating and courtship.
The youths from Mbani and Oriang didn’t not attend because of the burial of one of the youths who was in university.
This time we had 122 youths who attended the camp at Ndhiwa. Ezekiel Oanda also reported that they had many youths in Kisii. I also received a report from {Pastor} Sawek that the youths were so many in Chilani from Kaplecho, Daktech, motosiet and Chilani. Some came from junction congregation where we supplied cement.
I also recieved a report from Njoro that there was a funeral. A woman who have been in the CHURCH OF GOD for more than 30 years died a day to the opening date of YOUTH CAMP. So they postponed their youth camp till next week. The report was given by David Cheryot. So they will have camp by next week after burial.
What have noticed that the youth camp is very important and it’s really helping youths for their future life.

It is great that the camps held went well, despite certain deaths.
Pastor Tiongik Sawek sent the following about the camp in his area:
Receive greetings in Jesus Name. The youth camp at Chilani went well. Bomet and Mau youth camp went on successfully. The Brethrens were blessed. We taught all the youths to avoid unnecessary plans that are not Godly. We had representatives from Kabolecho and Takitech. We had teachers who taught the youths, the elderly women also contributed in teaching girls to abstain from earthly ways. We taught as seen in Proverbs 22:2. We taught them through the book of 2Timothy 3:1-7. We further encouraged them to respect the parents and the entire church. They learned a lot about the good ways in the Church and respect for their parents. This will enable them also to show their good behavior wherever they are. (Mathew 5:13,14). We pray that God may succeed the promise by Evangelist Ochieng concerning constructions of houses that will be used during church meetings. Attached is the picture taken on that day.

In the end time, we are to work to, “turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers” (Malachi 4:6). Youth camps are just one way to help do that.
