US preparing for war with North Korea

The US Secretaries of Defense and State are making statements consisting with preparations for war with North Korea:

The Pentagon ordered an advanced missile defence system to the western Pacific on Wednesday, as US defence secretary Chuck Hagel declared that North Korea posed “a real and clear danger” to South Korea, Japan and America itself.

The deployment of the battery to the US territory of Guam is the biggest demonstration yet that Washington regards the confrontation with North Korea as more worrying than similar crises of the past few years. It also suggested they are preparing for long standoff…

Hagel, speaking at the National Defense University in Washington, stressed North Korea’s potential military threat. “They have a nuclear capacity now. They have a missile delivery capacity now. STATE DEPARTMENT — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says the United States will defend itself and its allies amid what he calls “provocative, dangerous and reckless” threats by North Korean leader Kim Jung Un…

With North Korean troops training for what Pyongyang calls a “state of war” with South Korea, Secretary Kerry says Washington and its allies will not be caught off guard.

“The United States will do what is necessary to defend ourselves and defend our allies Korea and Japan. We are fully prepared and capable of doing so. And I think the DPRK understands that,” said Kerry.

South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se says Seoul and Washington are united against these threats. “Both Secretary Kerry and I agree that North Korea should abandon its nuclear ambitions and bellicose rhetoric,” stated Yun Byung-se. http://www.voanews.com/content/us-s-korea-ready-to-defend-against-n-korean-agression/1633734.html

If the USA will not accept North Korea as a “nuclear state,” this would suggest a real war with North Korea is possible. The statements from the USA leaders show that the USA is, at least partially, preparing for the possibility of war with North Korea.

North Korean politicians have often been playing a dangerous game with their country and their people, and hopefully they will realize that a military conflict is not in their interests.

Like the Iranians, those in North Korea are believed to be capable of perhaps detonating an EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) type bomb. Such a bomb could cause massive damage to countries like the USA. But, if they were to do that, the USA could still takeover North Korea.

While North Korea is not prophesied to take over the USA (Europe is per Daniel 11:39, etc.), as I wrote in the past, it certainly is possible that it may decided to actually launch one or more missiles at the USA in the future (or take other “terroristic actions; cf. Leviticus 26:26).

If North Korea does take certain steps to sufficiently aggravate , it needs to realize that it likely will no longer exist as it is. At some point in time, I believe that both Koreas will be reunited based upon certain verses in Revelation, yet whether this will be because of a war involving the USA or something else, that is not clear.
