Bill Clinton was in Kentucky this week campaigning for Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes, who hopes to unseat Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell in November. Mr. Clinton has the distinction of being the last Democrat to carry Kentucky in a presidential race. He did it in 1992 and again in 1996.In recent years Kentucky has moved sharply into the Republican column. Even McConnell seemed nonplussed about the Clinton visit. “I welcome him back to Kentucky,” McConnell told reporters on Capitol Hill. “Every time he’s come it’s been really good for me.”Democratic strategists see Bill Clinton as a weapon for the party where President Obama fears to tread. Obama is very unpopular in a number of Republican-leaning states and that complicates Democratic efforts to hold their majority in the Senate this year. Several key Senate races involve Democratic incumbents in Alaska, Arkansas and North Carolina. If Republicans can sweep those contests they will probably win back the Senate. Mr. Clinton may be able to campaign where the president can’t, especially in his home state of Arkansas and in North Carolina.

Of course, for Bill Clinton it’s not all about the 2014 results. He is happy to bank some political IOU’s from Democrats in key states in advance of the 2016 presidential campaign, assuming his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, decides to run.

The latest CBS News-New York Times poll found 82 percent of Democrats want Hillary Clinton to run two years from now, while only 42 percent favor a bid by Vice President Joe Biden.

Hillary Clinton still isn’t saying if she’s running or not in 2016. Clinton did weigh in on the controversy in Arizona this week on a now-vetoed state law that would have allowed people with sincerely held religious beliefs to refuse to serve gays. Clinton told thousands of students at the University of Miami that Arizona Governor Jan Brewer’s decision to veto the legislation was recognition that “inclusive leadership is really what the 21^st century is all about.”

It’s also worth watching to what extent Hillary gets out on the campaign trail for Democrats during this year’s midterm election campaign. For Clinton supporters it’s a tricky balance. Too much Hillary too soon could cause voters to get sick of her well before the 2016 starting bell. But since she is the party’s prohibitive favorite for the nomination, any decision to hold back or be too coy might annoy Democrats looking for a boost in their campaigns this year from the number one celebrity in the party.

From her strong pro-abortion stances to her more recent strident support of aspects of the homosexual agenda, Hillary Clinton is one that many in the USA want for president. Of course, those are not the only two, nor necessarily main two reasons (economic ones are often significant), but those are positions that are in synch with the predominant media, thus they will tend to support her, should Hillary Clinton actually run in 2016 for the Democratic nomination for the presidency of the USA.

In addition to economic concerns, what she really is advocating is increased acceptance of the homosexual agenda. This is not good for the USA.

Even in the early days of the Clinton White House, consultants and political advisers were scrambling to soften Hillary Clinton’s hard-edged image, looking for ways to “humanize her” for the press and public.

In the latter years, as the media turned, the advice was far more blunt. “Be real,” media consultant Mandy Grunwald told her in a 1999 memo. Grunwald told the first lady the public tends to see her only in “very stern situations,” and warned her not to let the press see her “uncomfortable or testy.”

The advice was contained in roughly 4,000 pages of previously confidential documents from the Clinton administration years, released Friday by the National Archives. The document dump is just the first batch of Clinton papers that will trickle into the public domain in the coming weeks.

The materials will be closely combed by political operatives on both sides of the aisle, as Hillary Clinton weighs a presidential bid in 2016. The truth is that Hillary Clinton often seems well meaning and determined. I am less concerned about how she comes across on the television, etc., it is primarily her positions on certain moral, economic, and international matters that concern me. Americans are so concerned about the economy and how they perceive their personal needs that most do not care that some of the policies that Hillary Clinton has advocated has encouraged other sins in this nation.

Some of what she has advocated is warned against in the Book of Romans:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

Although Hillary Clinton, of herself, personally will not cause the end of the world, she has taken steps that will help lead to the end of the world as we know it (cf. Romans 1:18-32). And that will not be good for the United States.
