The US and UK are headed for debt problems in 2013 according to some “experts”:

…Moody’s Investors Service has brought new transparency to its sovereign ratings analysis — so much so that 2018 lights up as the year the U.S. could be in line for a downgrade if Congressional Budget Office projections hold.The key data point in Moody’s view is the size of federal interest payments on the public debt as a percentage of tax revenue. For the U.S., debt service of 18%-20% of federal revenue is the outer limit of AAA-territory, Moody’s managing director Pierre Cailleteau confirmed in an e-mail.

Under the Obama budget, interest would top 18% of revenue in 2018 and 20% in 2020, CBO projects.

But under more adverse scenarios than the CBO considered, including higher interest rates, Moody’s projects that debt service could hit 22.4% of revenue by 2013.

Moody’s was seen as the least likely to act on the UK…Economists note that Moody’s is interested in the ratio of the government interest burden to tax receipts, forecast to rise from 5% to 7% this year, reaching 9% by 2013. Economists note that when this ratio moves above 10% an economy is at risk of downgrade to AA territory.

But the situation is much worse than those news items portray.

If interest rates rise to only their 1981 levels, the US and UK will have to more than triple their interest payments, this in turn will lead to much higher debt.

And creditors will finally have no more of it. Notice the following end time prophecy:

Debt is a biblical curse and that destruction of the main debtor appears to be an end time prophecy. The USA is in more total debt than any nation in history and it plans to greatly increase that debt. The UK seems to have more debt per person that any other country. Without national repentance, the USA, the UK, and their Anglo-allies are doomed.

I should also point out that the debt clock does not include items such as foreign investment in the USA outside of items like treasury bills. The Europeans have over 5,000,000,000,000 invested in the USA that could become nearly worthless if the USA defaults on its other debt or if its economy succumbs to the debt. That will not please them, nor the Chinese.
