Americans are concerned about this election:

Toxic election syndrome strikes the nation

Even the American Psychological Association reports that the 2016 election is “one of the most adversarial contests in recent history” — one that dominates “every form of mass media” says the group, which represent 117,500 clinicians, scientists and consultants. The shrill combo of politics and media has taken a toll: 52 percent of Americans say the election is “a significant source of stress.” The toxic election syndrome appears to spare no one. So, the USA now has “toxic election syndrome.” A little while back, we made a video titled 10 Reasons Not to Vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Let me also add that I am currently in Europe and the Europeans are not thrilled with the USA election.

They, in northern Europe (Netherlands and someone I spoke with from Switzerland), are horrified that Donald Trump may win. On the other hand, the Serbians I spoke with are horrified that Hillary Clinton could win (her husband bombed their country while he was in office).

So, the “toxic election syndrome” does not seem to be limited to Americans.

Although the Obama Administration regularly paints a rosy picture of what is going on in the USA, many Americans do not seem to share his view:

It appears the American People are losing faith in the American Dream as no matter how much the American President tells the paeons that everything is awesome, they are just not buying it. In fact, according to the latest survey by the University of Michigan, the percentage of US consumers who are ‘uncertain’ about the the economy has never, ever been higher…

Good times ahead, or bad times? The percentage of U.S. consumers saying “it depends” rose to the highest on record in September, according to preliminary results of the University of Michigan’s monthly survey.

As Bloomberg reports, the upcoming presidential election may be leading to increased uncertainty over the outlook, Richard Curtin, the director of the survey, said in an e-mail. However, as we have detailed previously, things have not been too rosy for the last few years, no matter how rose-colored one’s glasses are… (at least according to Harvard)…

While many Americans do not equate immorality as a cause of economic issues, consider that since States began to “liberalize” or repeal anti-abortion laws, the economic situation in the USA began to change (bolding and italics in source):

It should be pointed out that although others believe that the line from an overall creditor to debtor nation happened in the 1980s (as opposed to annually which began around 1971), the process began earlier:

But that dominance began to erode in the 1960s…By the 1980s, the inevitable happened. As generations of accumulated wealth disappeared, a line was crossed. Beyoncé is a female American singer who often seems to violate standards of modesty (cf. 1 Timothy 2:9). Abortion is murder, and abortion is wrong. And then there is the LGBT agenda.

Consider also the following:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness …

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. The direction that the USA is going is not good.

Are elections the answer?

12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).

Could our republic be on its last legs?

If the judicial system continues to usurp power it doesn’t rightfully possess, then America’s current system can’t last much longer, according to Conservative Review senior editor Daniel Horowitz.

“We will not survive another few years as a republic, irrespective of who wins this election, if the courts are not stripped of their power,” Horowitz declared during a recent appearance on the Mark Levin Show.

Indeed, the nation is reaching a “cathartic moment in our history where elections don’t matter,” according to Horowitz.

This is because unelected judges are deciding most major social and political questions with finality. …

This manifests itself, according to Horowitz, when judges rule in favor of birthright citizenship and counting illegal aliens in the census while ruling against common sense state voter ID laws.

“They are not only deciding every political and social question of our time that should be left to a legislature, they are preventing conservatives from even winning elections and having fair elections in the first place,” Horowitz said. “This is why I see this problem as pretty much the most imminent constitutional crisis we have to confront at this moment.”

Some conservatives believe all they need to do is elect a Republican president who will then appoint more conservative judges, but Horowitz views this as a fool’s errand.

Daniel Horowitz is correct that it appears that the USA has gone past the point of no return. He is also correct that the USA will not survive for too many more years as a republic.

The immorality is evil, but many leaders in the USA are promoting it and more and more young adults are approving of it.

The Bible warns:

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; (Isaiah 5:20)

This will not end well for the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (cf. Daniel 11:39) nor the rest of the West (cf. Daniel 11:44-45).

But let me add that the Bible teaches that the USA itself will be destroyed and its lands divided (Daniel 11:39).

Consider also the following:

14’But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you (Leviticus 26:14-17).

More and more, young people, judges, and politicians in the USA despise God’s statutes. And in the 2016 presidential election, that includes all four major party candidates.

Short of repentance, Daniel Horowitz is correct that whoever wins the presidential election in November 2016 will not be able to stop the decline of the USA. Many Americans are uneasy, but few will properly repent.

The USA’s destruction is coming. The USA needs the Kingdom of God.
