Australia’s perverse acceptance of Islam

The following is so outrageous, I decided to share this so readers could see how far from the Bible and common sense certain officials in Australia are:

Australia: The Madness Continues

“While terrorism’s origins have many factors, Islamic terrorists, as heinous as their acts are, they are often merely doing what the scriptures are telling them.” — Tanveer Ahmed, Muslim psychiatrist.

In Australia, according to judges, women and children must accept sexual assaults because it is part of the “Islamic culture” of their attackers. It would seem that in parts of Australia, this “Islamic culture” has replaced the rule of law. None of the above, however, seems to be enough to appease Muslim sentiments. In March, Anne Aly, Australia’s first female Muslim MP, said that racial-discrimination laws should be expanded to cover insults based on religion as well.

In March, a teacher at Punchbowl Primary School quit her job after she and her family received death threats from the children in the school, with some of them saying they would behead her. The teacher’s complaints to the New South Wales Department of Education were dismissed.

During the month of Ramadan alone, the world witnessed 160 Islamic attacks in 29 countries, in which 1627 people were murdered and 1824 injured. Nevertheless, the dual efforts to deny any links between Islamic terrorism and Islam on the one hand, and the efforts to accommodate Islam to the greatest extent possible on the other, seem to continue unaffected by the realities of Islamic terrorism — in Australia, as well, which is experiencing its own share of sharia and jihad.

At the end of May, the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) called on the Australian Parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade to:

“…include a recommendation in its report that disavows the notion that there is any inherent link between Islam and terrorism… The Committee should condemn any politician who refers divisively (expressly or implied) to any religious or ethnic group for the purpose of political gain.“

PHAA Chief Executive Michael Moore said that there is no inherent link between any religion and acts of terror:

“When you look at terrorism and the IRA, I don’t think many people blamed Christianity for terrorism when clearly there was an overlay. In fact there’s nothing inherent in Christianity that links to terrorism”.

Since when are public health officials qualified to make authoritative statements on the theology of Islam or its linkage to Islamic terrorism?

Muslim psychiatrist Tanveer Ahmed, would disagree. Speaking in June about the Australian media’s disproportionate focus on “Islamophobia” he said:

“While terrorism’s origins have many factors, Islamic terrorists, as heinous as their acts are, they are often merely doing what the scriptures are telling them.”

While Australian officials rush to declare that Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, revealingly they have referred to Islam or Islamic culture to exonerate Muslims on several occasions. In April, despite pleading guilty to sexually assaulting eight women and girls on a beach in Queensland, a young Afghan man was acquitted. The reason for the acquittal: “Cultural differences”. According to the judge, “seeing girls in bikinis is different to the environment in which he grew up”. The teen received two years’ probation without being convicted of anything.

Similarly, in 2014 , a registered sex-offender and pedophile, Ali Jaffari, was accused of attempted child-abduction. However, Australian police dropped all charges against him, after a magistrate told prosecutors that he would have difficulties finding Jaffari guilty. According to news reports:

Magistrate Ron Saines said if he was hearing the matter, he would have reasonable doubt, citing “cultural differences” as one factor, which would result in the charges being dismissed.

In Australia, according to judges, women and children must accept sexual assaults because it is part of the “Islamic culture” of their attackers. It would seem that in parts of Australia, this “Islamic culture” has replaced the rule of law.

A recent taxpayer-funded study about domestic violence is an example of the trend, in certain parts of Australia, towards replacing Australian values with Islamic ones. According to the study, while refugees are grateful for, “peace, freedom, healthcare and education”, the “major point of contention” is the issue of women’s and children’s rights:

The three-year study, funded by the Australian Research Council, concludes: “Many refugees see some human rights, in particular those relating to women and children’s rights, as detrimental to their successful settlement in Australia.”

It says some refugees argue “women’s and child’s rights contravene the cultural values, norms and mores” of their ethnic groups.

The study called for “cultural sensitivity and understanding of the impact on male refugees and… feelings of alienation and disappointment”.

Domestic violence in Muslim households is already a hot topic in Australia. Keysar Trad, a former President of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, told Sky News in February that an angry husband can beat his wife as “a last resort”. In April, the women’s branch of Islamic group Hizb Ut-Tahrir posted a video from an all-women’s event in Sydney to Facebook, in which two women demonstrated wife beating and called it “a beautiful blessing”. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-05/australia-madness-continues

Rape and sexual assault are wrong. No one should get a pass on that, Islamic or otherwise.

A tearful Muslim imam blamed Islam on Tuesday for radicalizing an Australian doctor who is known as “Dr. Jihad.”

“I can’t blame him — it’s my religion. I can’t blame it on education, because he’s had the best education. So I have to blame it on religion,” imam Mohammed Tawhidi told Australia’s 7 News of Tareq Kamleh, a doctor who fled to Syria in 2015 and has since joined the Islamic State. …

Because of his willingness to speak out against radicalized Islam, Tawhidi has become a target.

According to a report from Daily Mail Australia, Tawhidi, who has denounced Sharia law, has requested $30,000 to pay for security guards to keep him safe.

Yet, some in Australia want to make linking terrorism to Islam a crime.

The Bible warned:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, (Romans 1:18-23)

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; (Romans 1:28)

Now this perverse acceptance of Islam is not restricted to Australia. Even the scriptures cited above have been forbidden by at least two sets of government officials in Canada (watch Canadian censoring of the Bible).

Despite polls showing that 71% of Canadians would not have voted for the measure, Canada’s Parliament, with the strong backing of Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government, passed a motion this week 201 to 91 that critics say singles out Islam for special protection. Tabled by Muslim liberal MP Iqra Khalid, M-103 urges the federal government to “condemn Islamophobia” and to “develop a whole-of-government approach to reducing or eliminating systemic racism and religious discrimination including Islamophobia.” The term “Islamophobia” is nowhere defined in the motion.

A petition on CitizenGo asking MPs to stop the “restrictive ‘anti-blasphemy’” motion has been signed by 79,500 people.

“This motion will encourage legislation that would criminalize speech deemed ‘islamophobic’ and lay the groundwork for imposing what is essentially a Sharia anti-blasphemy law on all of Canada,” the petition states.

“If that happens, criticism of Islam would constitute a speech crime in Canada,” it states, adding that this “kind of content-based, viewpoint-discriminatory censorship is unacceptable in a Western liberal democracy.” http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-03-24/canada-passes-blasphemy-bill-silence-critics-islam

The Bible warns that there will be terrorism related incidents related to peoples from what are now Islamically-dominated lands (see Why Terrorism? Is Terrorism Prophesied?).

And it needs to be understood that the writings of Islam DO encourage terrorism (for details, see Differences Between Islam and the Continuing Church of God).

People should not be gagged from telling the truth, and criminals should not be let off by claiming Islam.

George Orwell wrote a book titled nineteen eighty-four where he warned of a totalitarian government that censored speech and used something called “doublespeak.” Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. Restrictions on telling the truth about Islam and allowing Islamic-adherents to get away with abhorrent crimes reminds me of George Orwell’s book.

This is a perverse attitude.

The world is getting less tolerant of speech that does not conform to what governments find ‘acceptable’ or believes is ‘truth.’ Plus, it seems to place precious little value on the truth.

Consider also the following prophecy:

13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, For it is an evil time. (Amos 5:13)

The above indicates that even those that are doing nothing wrong will need to be silent: in more and more lands that evil time is here.

Yet, for the Philadelphia remnant of the Church of God, currently, it is still time to:

1 Cry aloud, spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)

Which is what we in the Continuing Church of God are doing. We have denounced, not only sins that the world sometimes seems to consider politically correct, but also sins that many claimed COGs will not do, because of their own concerns about their political fates (watch CCOG, a corporation sole, not a 501(c)(3)) and/or fates that could happen if they offended their financial supporters if they told the truth to truly fulfill Isaiah 58:1 (e.g. Are Violent Sports Evil?).

Many in and out of the government have plans and are watching the internet with plans to deal with materials that they some day hope to silence. Their views are hauntingly like George Orwell’s book.

Sadly, the type of society that George Orwell wrote about is taking shape. Many realize it, but do not know what do to about it. But many can be called now (see What Did Christ Mean – Many Are Called, But Few Are Chosen?).

Yet, there is good news as the Kingdom of God will come and replace the Orwellian (Revelation 13:16-18) system that we see being put together today. And have no doubts, the type of Orwellian society that the Bible warned about for the end times is truly taking shape. More and more government proposals are consistent with this.
