Hamas officials in both Gaza and London are working in support of Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party, ahead of the UK general election on Thursday.

According to Tazpit Press Service (TPS), the “We Support Jeremy Corbyn” Facebook page, one of the largest and most influential Corbyn support networks globally with some 72,000 members, is managed from the Gaza strip.

For over two years the page was managed by Walid Abu Rouk, a resident of Khan Yunis in the Gaza strip, after Labour Party members added him as a page manager in June 2017, declaring him “our man in Gaza.” Abu Rouk confirmed to TPS that he served as the page’s manager until recently.

However, Rouk also has clear ties to the heart of Hamas’ propaganda efforts. So, some in Israel have concerns about Jeremy Corbyn.

As far as Hamas and Jeremy Corbyn go, Wikipedia has the following:

At a meeting hosted by Stop the War Coalition in 2009, Corbyn said he invited “friends” from Hamas and Hezbollah to an event in parliament, referred to Hamas as “an organisation dedicated towards the good of the Palestinian people and bringing about long term peace and social justice and political justice in the whole region” and said that the British government’s labelling of Hamas as a terrorist organisation is “a big, big historical mistake”.^[120] Asked on Channel 4 News in July 2015 why he had called representatives from Hamas and Hezbollah “friends”, Corbyn explained, “I use it in a collective way, saying our friends are prepared to talk,” and that the specific occasion he used it was to introduce speakers from Hezbollah at a Parliamentary meeting about the Middle East. He said that he does not condone the actions of either organisation:

“Does it mean I agree with Hamas and what it does? No. Does it mean I agree with Hezbollah and what they do? No. What it means is that I think to bring about a peace process, you have to talk to people with whom you may profoundly disagree … There is not going to be a peace process unless there is talks involving Israel, Hezbollah and Hamas and I think everyone knows that”

Hamas, itself, has a violent history and does not want Israel to exist. It intends to terrorize.

Hamas wants Israel gone, but that does not mean that it will not be open to some type of timed withdrawal or ‘peace deal.’

The Bible clearly is prophesying problems from some Syrians and some Palestinians. And this would be expected to include terrorism. Hamas is a Palestinian organization that has been involved with terrorism.

Anyway, Jeremy Corbyn is facing Boris Johnson in Thursday’s election:

LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and opposition leaders were pushing for the finish line in Britain’s election campaign Monday, dashing through multiple constituencies to drum up support in the final 72 hours before polling day.

Johnson was touring Labour-held seats across England that his Conservatives have to win if they are to secure a majority in Thursday’s election. Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn was in southwest and central England, where his left-of-center party is trying to hang on to key constituencies.

Opinion polls give Johnson’s Conservatives a lead, but as many as one in five voters remain undecided. This election is especially unpredictable because the question of Brexit cuts across traditional party loyalties.

The Conservatives had a minority government before the election, and Johnson pushed for the vote, which is taking place more than two years early, in hopes of winning a majority of the 650 House of Commons seats and breaking Britain’s political impasse over Brexit. He says that if the Conservatives win a majority, he will get Parliament to ratify his Brexit divorce deal and take the U.K. out of the EU by the current Jan. 31 deadline.

Labour is promising to renegotiate the divorce deal, then give voters the choice in a referendum of leaving the EU on those terms or remaining in the bloc. https://apnews.com/a6742889e9f1c0b8652d06ba94563864

So, polls have pointed to a win by Boris Johnson, but not necessarily enough for Boris Johnson to get what he wants related to Brexit. Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn has other ideas.
