Biden and Sanders ‘virtually agreed on naming a woman to be their vice presidential running mate’
Here is a report about the debate between Democratic candidates Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders:

The last two major U.S. Democratic presidential candidates – former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders – clashed Sunday night in a spirited debate …
The two also virtually agreed on naming a woman to be their vice presidential running mate. Biden said he definitely would pick a woman and Sanders said “in all likelihood” he would, provided he could find someone who agrees with his progressive policies.
But the two Democrats quarreled with each other on how best to take on Trump, the New York real estate mogul and first-time politician who won an upset victory in 2016 to become the country’s 45th president.
Biden and Sanders often argued over the minutiae of legislation in the U.S. Congress when both were senators and later when Biden served two terms as vice president under former President Barack Obama from 2009-2017.
Sanders called for a political revolution to take on special interests that control health care and energy production in the U.S. Biden promoted less dramatic changes, but ones that also would move American policies significantly to the left philosophically from the Trump administration.
Sanders argued that his plan for a government takeover of health care in the U.S. – he calls it Medicare for All – was a moral imperative so that “everyone will get the care they need.” Biden said his plans for more measured improvements on top of the health care plan adopted under Obama – popularly known as Obamacare – would help more Americans at less cost.
“People are looking for results, not a revolution,” Biden said. “What people want is hope and they need it now, not four years from now.” …
Biden at one point cut off Sanders, saying: “With all due respect to Medicare for All, you have a single-payer system in Italy. It doesn’t work there.” Biden was referring to the coronavirus crisis in Italy that is among the worst in Europe. “It has nothing to do with Medicare for All — that would not solve the problem at all. We can take care of that right now by making sure that no one has to pay for treatment period because of the crisis,” he said.
On another issue, Sanders attacked Biden’s support for the 2008 bailout of floundering Wall Street financial giants as the recession worsened more than a decade ago. Biden retorted, “It kept us from going into a depression.”
Sanders also criticized Biden’s support of the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, which Biden now admits was a mistake. …
Biden in the lead
At the moment, Biden holds a clear edge in the delegate count in the race for the Democratic nomination. The two squared off in what could turn out to be the last debate before the party’s national nominating convention in July.
After a stumbling start in the first three presidential nominating contests in February, Biden has won 16 of the last 21 state elections and is heavily favored in the next four on Tuesday. They are scattered across the U.S., in Florida in the South, Ohio and Illinois in the Midwest, and Arizona in the Southwest.
Biden needs a majority of at least 1,991 delegates at the convention and currently leads Sanders, 809-666. Both of these candidates support abortion, expanding the LGBTQ agenda, and (though they claim otherwise) reducing religious rights in the USA.
That is not to say that they are necessarily morally beneath current US President Donald Trump. The “hope” all need to have is on the coming Kingdom of God.
Consider how the following verses seem to apply to Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Donald Trump:
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed. (Isaiah 9:16)
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
God will decide who He wants in various offices:
17 ‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’ (Daniel 4:17)
On abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, pornography, and other areas, the USA needs repentance and the Kingdom of God. None of the candidates (including the current President, though his anti-abortion position is refreshing–his past business promotion of pornography is not) advocates that.
Whoever wins in 2020 will be dangerous.
The USA is moving towards destruction.

Does the Continuing Church of God agree with Irvin Baxter, Walid Shoebat, Greg Laurie, Ed Mlynar, or ‘Time’ on any points related to the fate of the USA? Do biblical references to eagles need to be referring to the USA? What can we see in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Habakkuk, Hosea, Amos, Zephaniah, and Revelation? Dr. Thiel goes over scriptures, writings, and historical evidence to address these matters.

The Bible itself warns that if the children of Israel sinned and did not repent, the following would happen:
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)
So, we see a specific biblical prophecy warning of a time where there will be female rulers. And, as this has happened to descendants of Ephraim having a female in the top office, this would be expected to affect descendants of Manasseh. (Information on the roles of Christian women is in the article Women and the New Testament Church.) Considering the both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are in their seventies and both indicated that they wanted to have a female vice president, it would seem probable that if either wins and that they would die in office, that they would be replaced by a woman. The Bible shows that having a woman leader is also not the hope that nations should have.

Various politicians have announced their intentions to run for the office of the President of the United States in 2020. ‘Politico’ ran an article about the ‘sorry state’ of various candidates. Some candidates have felt the need to apologize for previous statements in support of biblical marriage and the need to endorse items of the LGBTQ agenda. Many also support abortion and other anti-biblical actions. Are these ‘American values’? Should the English language be changed to eliminate male/female and singular pronouns? Does the Bible warn about female leaders? Does the Bible warn about leaders that lead people to err? What about condoning sexual immortality? Do the presidential contenders fit prophecies warned about in 2 Timothy 3:1-5? These are some of the subjects that Dr. Thiel addresses.

Pray for the Kingdom of God to come (Matthew 6:10). Also pray as Jesus taught:
34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)
We can expect troubles and tribulation before Jesus returns (Mark 13:8-20).
And that will happen no matter which party wins the 2020 US Presidential election.
The USA needs repentance and the Kingdom of God. None of the candidates (including Donald Trump) advocates that.
We are getting closer to the start of the Great Tribulation and whoever wins in November and is in office next January will take steps that will be apocalyptic.
