Of course whenever case numbers start rising again, the Biden administration feels as though it must do something. So on Tuesday, Joe Biden is going to deliver another “major address” to the nation. Unfortunately, many are anticipating that he may introduce more destructive restrictions which could significantly damage the U.S. economy as we head into 2022. …

President Joe Biden will deliver a speech Tuesday to address the omicron variant and unveil new steps the administration is taking to help communities in need of assistance, a White House official told NBC News on Saturday.
Biden is expected to go beyond his already unveiled “winter plan” with additional measures while “issuing a stark warning of what the winter will look like for Americans that choose to remain unvaccinated,” the official said.
Right now, we don’t know exactly what those “new steps” will look like, but there is a lot of speculation that they could include new mandates and/or restrictions. …
Ultimately, many would argue that the global response to the pandemic has been far more destructive than the virus itself.
And if we can’t handle a crisis of this magnitude, how are we possibly going to be able to handle something far more severe?
COVID has filled our leaders with great fear, and being fearful is never a way to handle a crisis.

Corporate resilience will be severely tested – whatever governments decide. The likelihood of stagflation has risen, but markets are likely to benefit from buy-the-dip mentality as investors weigh-up renewed government support if/when it turns nasty! …
I was intrigued to read about calls for the UK government to update the list of symptoms people should look out for on Omicron: runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing and sore throat. Is it just me, or does that sound that a common cold? …
Corporate resilience to renewed lockdown is low. They already face supply chain inflation, wage pressures, and now a collapse in demand. Omicron is shaking already tottering economies. Populations are increasingly divided. Out walking at the weekend, it’s clear many mask-wearing folk will happily jump into the traffic rather than get too close to other pedestrians. On the other hand, protestors and anti-vaxxers are proving fertile ground for the far-right.
The economic multiplier effects of de-facto lockdown are going to be huge. …
The West’s flirtation with easy money looked to be coming to an end. The Bank of England acted early with last week’s 15 bp rate hike. Not a lot in the grand scheme of themes, but a curious call as the Government dithers about how to handle Omicron. The Fed will hike early next year. Omicron is similar to the common cold in several ways, including the fact that there are many (at least 60 recently identified) mutations of it.
However, since COVID itself looks to have come from a lab, there are likely dangers not associated with the common cold. Notice the following:

While the mainstream media called it a conspiracy theory, back in January 2020 I connected COVID (then called the “novel coronavirus”) to a possible leak from the facility in Wuhan China (watch Biological Warfare and Prophecy).
That being said, government actions related to and/or blamed on COVID have hit the economies around the world a lot more than what happens in cold and flu season.
Lockdowns are not good for the economy.
As far as interest rates go, yes, they will one day rise very high in the USA–but do not think that the US government will not decide that spending what it does not have, via increasing its debt, will not happen.
It will.
We already have seen inflation around the world and in the USA.

The time will come when the U.S.A. government will no longer be able to borrow at low interest rates and/or it will create more money electronically and/or via the printing press to try to continue.
Make no mistake about it — massive inflation is coming.

Biological Warfare and Prophecy. Is biological warfare possible? Was it prophesied? Scientists have long warned that pathogenic organisms like the coronavirus could be weaponized. Furthermore, back in 2017, there were concerns that the biological research facility being constructed in Wuhan, China was risky and that a coronavirus from it could be released. On January 25, 2020, China’s President Xi Jinping publicly stated that the situation with the Wuhan-related strain of the coronavirus was grave. Did Church of God writers like the late evangelist Raymond McNair warn that engineered viruses (the “Doomsday bug”) were consistent with prophecies from Jesus? Did a warning from CCOG leader Bob Thiel warn about risks of genetically-modified (GMO) mosquitoes come to pass?
