The Russian-dominated Eurasian Economic Union and Chinese dominated Belt and Road Initiative reportedly are intercomplementary:

The One Belt One Road initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are not competing projects, being considered as intercomplementary, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said, speaking at the presentation of the Valdai International Discussion Club’s report entitled ‘Space Without Borders: Russia and Its Neighbors’ on Monday.

“We see no contradiction between the two [projects] — One Belt One Road and the Eurasian Economic Union. We consider them intercomplementary, not competing projects,” he said.

“The Chinese project [One Belt One Road] is aimed at the creation of some infrastructure elements in Central Asia, and not only in Central Asia, but on the whole route between China and Europe,” Rudenko noted, adding that the developed infrastructure would create more favorable investment climate, which the EAEU particularly deals with.

“We welcome China’s interest in our union and the [existing] agreements <…> demonstrate that, indeed, the better the economic situation in Central Asia is, the better the situation will be for all, including Russia,” he concluded. 12/20/21 https://tass.com/economy/1378239

Iran reported economic benefits with the EAEU:

Seyyed Rouhollah Latifi Spokesman for IRICA said on Tuesday that Iran’s trade exchanged with EAEU’s member states from March 21 to Nov. 22 registered a 42 and 73% growth in weight and value, respectively as compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

According to IRICA’s statistics, 8,566,018 tons of goods valued at $3,626,262,452, were exchanged between Iran and five EAEU’s member states in the first eight months of the current year (from March 21 to Nov. 22).

In that period, Iran imported some 6,726,846 tons of commodities valued at $2,862,623,303 from Eurasian Economic Union’s member states, indicating a 66 and 98% hike in weight and value, respectively as compared to the same period last year, IRICA spokesman added.

As the USA has been pushing sanctions on Iran and Russia, they have increased trade with each other.

Russia has demanded that NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in which the U.S. plays a prominent role, must “roll back military deployments in eastern Europe and bar Ukraine and other post-Soviet nations from joining the alliance,” the report said. …

Russian chief Vladimir Putin had started the discussion recently, stating: “If some kind of strike systems appear on the territory of Ukraine, the flight time to Moscow will be seven to 10 minutes, and five minutes in the case of a hypersonic weapon being deployed. What are we to do in such a scenario? We will have to then create something similar in relation to those who threaten us in that way. And we can do that now.” …

The Gateway Pundit noted the threat, and said the TV host warned, “We’re holding very strong cards in our hands. Despite U.S. President Joe Biden warning Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this month that Russia would pay a “terrible price” in the event it invades Ukraine, the forward-deployment of hundreds of tanks, howitzers, self-propelled artillery and tens of thousands of troops has not been reversed, say Western security sources. …

Asked if Western powers are ready to act if there is further Russian aggression against Ukraine today, tomorrow or next week, Donfried said: “There’s clarity about what we will do.”

But current and former diplomats say while there’s broad agreement among Western powers about sanctioning Russia in the event of an incursion, there’s as yet no final accord on the details. Some European governments have less appetite than others, they say. “There is still discussion,” said a British diplomat, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “It is not all signed and sealed.”

While Russia is NOT going to turn the USA into radioactive ash in the next couple of years, as I have written before, there is a price to pay for US sanctions and they do affect the dollar. Russia and Iran seem to agree.

The political reality is that both the Trump and Biden Administrations have been inclined to impose sanctions. This is leading many nations, including those in Europe, to try to get around them and USA influence.

EAEU, One Belt, One Road project made great progress in joint development — Lavrov

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and China’s One Belt, One Road initiative have made significant steps towards joint development, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday. He was talking to the participants of a high-level video conference on cooperation as part of the One Belt and One Road Initiative in the Asia-Pacific region.

“Our Chinese friends are successfully implementing the large-scale One Belt and One Road project aimed at strengthening infrastructure connectivity and ensuring sustainable growth. In turn, the integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union are being effectively implemented. We have made significant progress in combining the plans for the development of the EAEU and the construction of the One Belt, One Road project. In particular, the implementation of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the EAEU and China continues,” the minister said. …

“The initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the creation of a Greater Eurasian Partnership – an “umbrella” format that involves the unification of the potentials of states and international organizations, primarily the EAEU, SCO and ASEAN is aimed at implementing this task. In this regard, the agreement between the leaders of Russia and China regarding coordinated promotion of the Greater Eurasian Partnership and the One Belt, One Road project is extremely important,” Lavrov concluded. https://tass.com/politics/1306485

While much of the mainstream media in the USA seems focused on internal politics, much of the world is moving towards a type of integration that will result in the final time of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24; see also The Times of the Gentiles) and the end of Anglo-American dominance.

While the European Union is not part of Asia, China’s One Belt, One Road Initiative (also called the Silk Road project) it also connects Europe to more locations in Asia–and Europe itself has pledged to make more connections to Asia (see ‘Will the United States and Europe Break Up Over China?’)–and has pledged money to do so (see ‘The European Union has unveiled its €300 billion ($340 billion) alternative to China’s Belt and Road initiative’). Such European involvement may not be so much as an alternative, but intercomplementary as roads normally run in two directions.

The European Union would like to cooperate more with the Eurasian Economic Union. A de facto coordination of Gentile powers against the Anglo-Americans is occurring. The EU and EAEU are officially talking:

EU and EAEU officials are in fact talking. But this is only exchange of information, not negotiation. There are no EU trade restrictions vis à vis Russia (except in relation to goods produced in Crimea). Based upon several biblical prophecies, I have long written that the Asians and Europeans will cooperate, for a time, and eliminate the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies. They will divide their lands among them per Daniel 11:39, and many of the survivors will be made slaves (for more detail check out the article Will the Anglo-Saxon Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?).

Notice also the following prophecies from the Old and New Testaments:

23 ‘Make a chain,
For the land is filled with crimes of blood,
And the city is full of violence.
24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,
And they will possess their houses;
I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,
And their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Destruction comes;
They will seek peace, but there shall be none. (Ezekiel 7:23-25)

23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:23-24)

2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. (Revelation 11:2)

Notice that Ezekiel, Jesus (whose words are recorded in Luke), and John (who penned Revelation) were talking about the same time.

The time of Gentile domination is prophesied (Ezekiel 7:24, 30:1-3, 34:25-30; Jeremiah 10:25; Luke 21:23-24; Revelation 11:2)–though it is not quite here yet. It will be here for the 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord.

The Great Tribulation itself is further described in Revelation 6:9-11 (the fifth seal, that seems to occur because the faithful church has suffered martyrdom, cf. Daniel 11:31-35; Matthew 24:9-10), Lamentations, Daniel, and other parts of the Bible. It starts with Matthew 24:21 and Daniel 11:39.

Some would call this World War III (WWIII; see also World War III: Steps in Progress and/or watch Is World War III About to Begin? Can You Escape?).

What is commonly known as ‘Armageddon’ could perhaps be called WWIV.

The term Armageddon is only used once in the Bible. It is the sixth of seven bowls of God’s wrath:

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.” (Revelation 16:1)

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)

For them to gather, they must cross over land to get to Armageddon. China’s Silk Road project will make this easier.

The kings of the east reference refers to Asian nations, including Russia, whose border extends to the farthest parts of the east.

50:41 “Behold, a people shall come from the north,
And a great nation and many kings
Shall be raised up from the ends of the earth.
42 They shall hold the bow and the lance;
They are cruel and shall not show mercy.
Their voice shall roar like the sea;
They shall ride on horses,
Set in array, like a man for the battle,
Against you, O daughter of Babylon.

43 “The king of Babylon has heard the report about them,
And his hands grow feeble;
Anguish has taken hold of him,
Pangs as of a woman in childbirth…”(Jeremiah 50:41-43).

Russia is in the north and is in the northern and eastern ends of the earth. Looking at the maps at the beginning of this post, you will see other nations that border Russia or are otherwise involved with it.

Notice also that the Bible shows Babylon tied together with birth pains/pangs to a group from a far country:

1 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.
2 “Lift up a banner on the high mountain, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. 3 I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger–Those who rejoice in My exaltation.” 4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts musters The army for battle. 5 They come from a far country, From the end of heaven–The LORD and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land. 6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, 8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames (Isaiah 13:1-8).

Thus, both the accounts in Jeremiah and Isaiah seem related to the same invaders. This is referring to an end time confederation that has a distance to travel–apparently a type of union of powers from the east including Russia, who is also the major power of the far north.

Furthermore, a “far country” also seems to be tied to the powers of the east elsewhere in Isaiah:

11 Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it. (Isaiah 46:11)

We are seeing steps for such a confederation beginning to come to pass.

When will it end?

The old Worldwide Church of God taught:

With the second coming of Christ, the “times of the Gentiles” will at last come to an end. (Stump K. The Arab World in Prophecy. Plain Truth, December 1979, p. 38)

For the final time of the Gentiles to arise, the Gentiles will need to cooperate together against the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies. The BRICS, EAEU, SCO, and Silk Road arrangements are all intended to do that–as is the European Union–and the nations involved in them are all taking steps which align with properly understood biblical prophecies. A block of nations from North Africa and the Middle East will also be involved (cf. Daniel 11:27, 40-43)–this is something that US, EU, and others have encouraged (see How Will Middle East Peace be Brought About?).

Yet, most in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand do not understand what is now happening on the world scene and how they will be affected.

In the American television news, how often have you seen the Silk Road project or the Eurasian Economic Union mentioned?

The focus of the media is obscuring what is really happening in the world.

We are getting closer to the Great Tribulation as well as Armageddon and steps continue to be taken that are leading to them.

So, what could a Russian dominated group like the EAEU have to do with any of this?

Well the Bible prophesies that a power from the north (Russia) will have many nations with it and one day eliminate the European Babylonian, King of the North, Beast:

9 For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon
An assembly of great nations from the north country,
And they shall array themselves against her;
From there she shall be captured.
Their arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior;
None shall return in vain. (Jeremiah 50:9)

50:41 Behold, a people shall come from the north,
And a great nation and many kings

The “him” and “he” of Daniel 11:44 is the European King of the North. The EAEU is basically north and east of Europe.

And China, who has officially remained outside of the EAEU, is somewhat working with it, is busily working on making roads that cross all over Asia–including roads in nations that are part of the EAEU (watch also Is China paving roads to Armageddon?).

While in the USA, its President Biden is pushing COVID tests and his stalled ‘Build Back Better’ agenda, China, India, the EAEU, and others are looking at a massive alliance.

USA efforts will NOT stop what is coming and much of which is starting to form before our eyes now.

World events are aligning with properly understood biblical prophecies.

Steps towards Armageddon and the final time of the Gentiles are happening. Yet, most of the mainstream media seems oblivious to this as they do not respect the Bible nor understand how world events are aligning with many of its prophecies.

As Jesus said: “And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” (Mark 13:37).
