You find yourself at the self scan checkout, just finishing up your run to the grocery store. As you scan the last piece of fake soy meat, you proceed to pay. Instead of grabbing your wallet, you simply hold your hand over the machine and with a ”beep” you are done.
Congratulations, you have just completed a cashless payment using an implanted microchip in your hand. Just a few years ago this was ridiculed as a crazy conspiracy theory, but this is happening right now.
It may sound like something out of The Great Reset, but this technology is now here and more and more people are beginning to use it, so much so that even the BBC recently wrote about it. Unsurprisingly, they seemed to like the idea…
Something that was ridiculed not long ago, is now being promoted on the mainstream media.
More and more people are now using cashless methods to pay, either by card or phone and contactless payment has been especially encouraged during the last years with the pandemic, at least here in Norway where I live.
Reportedly in Sweden, some 6000 people have already gotten microchipped.
”And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Rev 13:16-17

“Chip implants contain the same kind of technology that people use on a daily basis …From key fobs to unlock doors, public transit cards like the London Oyster card, or bank cards with contactless payment function.
“The reading distance is limited by the small antenna coil inside the implant. The implant needs to be within the electromagnetic field of a compatible RFID [or NFC] reader. Only when there is a magnetic coupling between the reader and the transponder can the implant can be read.”
He adds that he is not concerned that his whereabouts could be tracked.
“RFID chips are used in pets to identify them when they’re lost,” he says. “But it’s not possible to locate them using an RFID chip implant – the missing pet needs to be found physically. Then the entire body gets scanned until the RFID chip implant is found and read.”
Yet the issue with such chips, (and what causes concern), is whether in the future they become ever more advanced, and packed full of a person’s private data. And, in turn, whether this information is secure, and if a person could indeed be tracked. …
Nada Kakabadse, professor of policy, governance and ethics at Reading University’s Henley Business School, is also cautious about the future of more advanced embedded chips.
“There is a dark side to the technology that has a potential for abuse,” she says. “To those with no love of individual freedom, it opens up seductive new vistas for control, manipulation and oppression.
“And who owns the data? Who has access to the data? And, is it ethical to chip people like we do pets?”

IT’S THE SIZE of a grain of rice but could hold the key to many aspects of your life.A tiny microchip inserted under the skin can replace the need to carry keys, credit cards and train tickets.
That might sound like an Orwellian nightmare to some but in Sweden it is a welcome reality for a growing number who favours convenience over concerns of potential personal data violations.
The small implants were first used in 2015 in Sweden – initially confidentially – and several other countries.
Swedes have gone on to be very active in microchipping, with scant debate about issues surrounding its use, in a country keen on new technology and where the sharing of personal information is held up as a sign of a transparent society.
Twenty-eight year-old Ulrika Celsing is one of 3,000 Swedes to have injected a microchip into her hand to try out a new way of life.
To enter her workplace, the media agency Mindshare, she simply waves her hand on a small box and types in a code before the doors open.

Many think it is convenient.
But consider the following:
Thousands of Europeans who have had microchips embedded into their hands are at risk of their personal data being ‘used against them’.
More than 3,000 Swedes have microchip implants that let them pay for shopping, enter buildings and book train tickets.
But a scientist has warned the conveniences gained from the procedure by so-called ‘body-hackers’ do not outweigh the risks to their private data.
Ben Libberton, a microbiologist at the MAX IV Laboratory in the Swedish city of Lund which provides X-rays for research, told AFP: ‘At the moment, the data collected and shared by implants is small, but it’s likely that this will increase.
‘The more data is stored in a single place as could happen with a chip, the more risk it could be used against us. …

But we have now reached the most inexplicable modern “advancement:” businesses implanting microchips into their employees, allowing those businesses to track these workers’ movements and purchases. …
Who’s to say some rogue company won’t develop a chip reader of its own to scan people as they walk down the street? What if a big box store starts reading you and mailing you coupons based on what section of the store you spent the most time in? What if your employer wants to monitor how much time you spend in the bathroom, or at lunch? Ninety percent of the time, I’d rather people not know where I am — I have no desire to live within The Matrix.
Employees who have had the chip implanted delight at the “convenience” of it all — imagine being able to purchase snacks at the company cafeteria by simply waving your hand! A microchip was first implanted into a human back in 1998, but it is only during the past decade that the technology has been available commercially.
And when it comes to implantable payment chips, British-Polish firm, Walletmor, says that last year it became the first company to offer them for sale.
“The implant can be used to pay for a drink on the beach in Rio, a coffee in New York, a haircut in Paris – or at your local grocery store,” says founder and chief executive Wojtek Paprota. “It can be used wherever contactless payments are accepted.”
Walletmor’s chip, which weighs less than a gram and is little bigger than a grain of rice, is comprised of a tiny microchip and an antenna encased in a biopolymer – a naturally sourced material, similar to plastic. …
For many of us, the idea of having such a chip implanted in our body is an appalling one, but a 2021 survey of more than 4,000 people across the UK and the European Union found that 51% would consider it. …

Privacy is one concern, control by governments should be another.
Yet, many Swedes and others do not seem to be concerned.
That society will control buying and selling according to Bible prophecy (Revelation 13:16-18). What we see now looks like a prelude to 666.

Hernandez, 15, a sophomore in a science and engineering magnet program at John Jay High School, and her father, Steven Hernandez, each testified that they believe the tracking system — which uses radio frequency identification tags inserted in student badges — is a sign of submission to the Antichrist as described in the Bible’s Book of Revelation. Northside began trying out the RFID technology at two schools this fall. It allows an attendance monitor to locate students at specific areas on campus in real time…

While Northside Independent School District will not be {the} final Antichrist, the reality is that many governments continue to increase their ability to track people.
Lest some feel that this is only an isolated incidence, many in the USA and elsewhere have raised “mark of the beast” concerns in the past (here are links to some examples that made the news Americans Distrust Their Government and Certain Microchips, Mark of the Beast Fears in Virginia, CERN logo is 666?, India’s Baptists and Presbyterian Mark of the Beast Fears, and Writer claims cell phone is “mark of the beast”).
Having some type of the “mark of the beast” is coming. And technologies like the internet, cell phones, and RFID make tracking of people easier.
According to the Bible, the “mark of the Beast” is not a good thing to have:
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)
1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. 2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. (Revelation 15:1-2)
20 ..he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. (Revelation 19:20)
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:11)
2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. (Revelation 16:2)
The ability to control buying and selling, etc. would be vastly aided by modern technology, including, likely, various forms of identification. The “mark of the beast” itself has to do with religious imagery/icons/practices.
While, identification cards, per se, are not the “mark of the beast,” they likely will be used by the Beast and may, in the future, have his mark/image and/or number. The Greek term translated as “mark” in the New Testament is cháragma. It is only used once outside the Book of Revelation in the textus receptus and in that passage (Acts 17:29) cháragma refers to a physical marking or engraving. It involve a violation of the Ten Commandments, and could possibly involve idols, tattoos (see Tattoos: History and Biblical Teachings), and/or microchip technology.
While I am NOT saying that microchips are the ‘mark of the Beast,’ we are getting closer to the time that buying and selling can be controlled. We are at the stage where more and more buying and selling can be controlled.
While that does NOT mean that all microchip implants are wrong or the ‘mark of the Beast,’ it means that we have entered a time where technology can help fulfill some 666 predictions.
