Microsoft says it is making a “multiyear, multibillion dollar investment” in the artificial intelligence startup OpenAI, maker of ChatGPT and other tools that can write readable text and generate new images.
The tech giant on Monday described its new agreement as the third stage of a growing partnership with San Francisco-based OpenAI that began with a $1 billion investment in 2019. It didn’t disclose the dollar amount for its latest investment.
OpenAI’s free writing tool ChatGPT launched on Nov. 30 and has brought public attention to the possibilities of new advances in AI.
It’s part of a new generation of machine-learning systems that can converse, generate readable text on demand and produce novel images and video based on what they’ve learned from a vast database of digital books, online writings and other media.

New Delhi CNN —Asia’s richest man Gautam Adani says he is addicted to ChatGPT, the powerful new AI tool that interacts with users in an eerily convincing and conversational way.
In a LinkedIn post last week, the 60-year-old India tycoon said that the release of ChatGPT was a “transformational moment in the democratization of AI given its astounding capabilities as well as comical failures.”

ChatGPT is basically an interactive search-engine that employs aspects of artificial intelligence. GPT stand for Generative Pre-trained Transformer.
Although I have not used it, the few people I spoke with who have used it, like it.
Some in the media have suggested that it may become more popular than Google–this is also causing Google to look into more AI investments.
One concern in the academic world is that students will be able to ease out of many writing assignments by using ChatGPT to generate papers and book reviews that are unique enough to fool teachers.
Various others believe that its ability to write code and other things may allow companies to eliminate many tech and other jobs with it.
While translation and other applications may be quite useful, some are getting concerned about certain “woke” biases that are already programmed into ChatGPT.
Amongst other things, ChatGPT censors and holds a view against biblical morality.
It “suppresses the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18) in many ways–and is an information technology that is actually a censorship tool.
That said, prophetically we know that more censorship is coming:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)
We also know more totalitarian religious and financial controls are coming:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18)
The time is coming when people will basically be required to publicly accept idolatrous religious worship or die. This, as well as financial controls, are areas where it looks like artificial intelligence will be used.
While there are many possible positive uses of artificial intelligence and ChatGPT, understand that we are getting closer to Orwellian 666 controls.
Artificial intelligence will be a factor.
Microsoft’s investment in OpenAI as well as Google’s AI interest may ultimately help the coming Beast of Revelation.
This is not to say it is wrong to properly use things like ChatGPT–but do not believe that the results are not biased by those who program them who oppose many aspects of biblical morality.

In November 2022, OpenAI released something called ChatGPT. Google held a meeting related to it the next month and some think it may possibly replace Google. Some suspect that artificial intelligence will generate up to 90% of internet content in the future. Some believe that items such as ChatGPT will eliminated certain writing, tech, and other jobs requiring a college education. What does ChatGPT stand for?
