By being considered as a respected commentator, and now having the opportunity to reach a lot of people on a regular basis, Herr Guttenberg looks like he is placing himself in a position to at least partially restore his reputation.

And, he may rise up more than almost anyone thinks he could.

I long wondered if he may be the prophesied King of the North of Daniel 11. And I have made at least a dozen speculative predictions related to him that have been at least partially fulfilled:

He has advocated more European military cooperation.
He became unpopular for a time (and still is among many).
He ended up, for a time, outside of political office.
He went out of the limelight for a while.
He went into exile (self-imposed).
His exile was to a humid location.
People laughed at him.
He has partially re-emerged in European politics.
He has called for Germany to consider being a leader in data protection.
He now has a beard.
His involvement with Ripple, blockchain, and AI could be setting him up to fulfill Revelation 13:15-18.
He is reportedly making himself a type of media brand.

Now just because he at least partially fulfilled those does not prove that he must be the final King of the North. But they certainly give me reason, combined with biblical and other prophetic sources, to consider that he could fulfill that role or at least aid the one who will have it.

Another thing I have speculated about him was that Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg would be involved with religion. His documentary may be a step in that direction. Herr Guttenberg may very well be in, found, or otherwise support a new order or some type of group that will, for a time, be associated with the Roman Catholic Church. He remains one to “Watch” (cf. Mark 13:37).
