We have seen a series of escalations on the northern front in recent days, and that includes the assassination of the brother-in-law of the leader of Hezbollah. Now, Israeli media is telling us that hospitals in the north are being ordered to get ready to receive large numbers of war casualties…
Israeli media reports IDF ordered preparation for the expansion of the fighting in the north (Lebanon).
Israeli Ministry of Health ordered the hospitals to be prepared to receive “thousands of casualties” in a short time.
Why would such an alert get issued now? Is something major about to happen? …
#2 A Deadly New Variant That Is 100% Fatal In Mice “Due To Infection Of The Brain”
I don’t even know what to make of this story.
Apparently, a team of scientists has been messing around with a coronavirus variant that has killed all of the mice that have been exposed to it…
The research group of former PLA scientist Yigang Tong has published a new paper showing a “pangolin” coronavirus (GX_P2V) variant is 100% fatal to hACE2 mice likely due to infection of the brain.

#3 Civil War In Ecuador
Have you heard about what is happening in Ecuador?
We are being told that a “civil war” has erupted, and at this point the entire nation has descended into a state of complete and utter chaos…
Ecuador is descending into civil war after a bunch of masked thugs stormed a television station in the port city of Guayaquil yesterday while taking prison guards hostage and murdering civilians.
Viewers watched in horror last night as the men threatened presenters and workers with automatic weapons and explosives on live television, with the sound of gunshots and terrified hostages begging for mercy audible in the background.
Of course the incident at that television station was only a small part of the widespread violence that we witnessed on Tuesday…

Let’s briefly touch on those three, and add a fourth.
First, yes, the war Israel could well expand. Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and others want to see Israel gone. The Bible in Zephaniah 1:1-6 and Isaiah 22:6-11 tell of great damage that will come to the tiny nation calling itself Israel (see also Another Hezbollah leader killed, ‘fears grow’ about Israel-Iran war expansion, and ‘Zephaniah’s Cry: Don’t Rely on America!’).
Second, yes, there are risks from coronavirus variants such as GX_P2V. The eating of unclean animals, like pangolins, was a factor in the arrival of COVID-19 (see WHO pointing to bats, rats, and pangolins as sources of COVID-19).
Thirdly, yes, the situation in Ecuador has a lot of negative potential. For years I have warned that we may see wars in places that have not been associated with them for a while, such as South America.
And to that, let’s add a fourth item that Michael Snyder did not mention–there is tension between Venezuela and Guyana that could erupt into a military confrontation:

With all this going on, notice the following:
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:3-8)
So, yes these four items are consistent with the beginning of sorrows as they involve wars, pestilence matters, and rumors of war.
Now, as Jesus said, His faithful followers should not be troubled by that.
But as Jesus said, other things, which will directly affect that ‘most faithful’ will happen:
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:9-14)
So, yes, persecution is coming–and will mainly first be directed at the Philadelphian Christians, as they are the ones that are best fulfilling Matthew 24:14.
And then, as Jesus said, the end will come.
And then what?
Jesus said:
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:15-22)
So, the most faithful, which are the Philadelphians per Jesus’ promise to them in Revelation 3:7-13, will flee, and then the Great Tribulation will start. After they flee (Revelation 12:14-16), the Great Tribulation will start and persecution will hit the rest of the Christians (Revelation 12:17; Daniel 7:25b).

Some claim that the Great Tribulation will begin in 2024. Some say that Jesus will return in 2024. Are either of those events possible based upon the words of our Savior or the prophet Daniel?
