The Apostle Philip

Philip of Bethesda was one of the original twelve apostles. What were the circumstances around his calling? Why could he be called “doubting Philip”? Did he keep biblical holy days such as Pentecost and Passover on the 14th of Nisan? Was he martyred in Hierapolis? Did his later successor in that region, Apollinaris, push for the same doctrines? What do the Bible and certain post-biblical documents say about him? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues.
