COGWA and UCG Zambia Cattle Battle

Yes, there are more accusations going on related to the Zambian COGWA vs. UCG’s Victor Kubik cattle battle (the former is basically accused of theft, the latter now of slander). And no, at this time, I do not plan to go into detail on this as this matter is of questionable consequence.

I hope that both sides will pray about this and resolve this.

Anyway, even if this matter is not closed, I believe that and those in UCG and COGWA should take a look at priorities, including those (which is most) in both groups which have absolutely nothing to do with any of this ‘cattle battle.’

The following scriptures from the Gospel according to Matthew come to mind:

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, (Matthew 5:38-44).

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
