As long-term readers are aware, I, Dr. Bob Thiel, AKA COGwriter have frequently been a radio guest. However, since many times the interviews are last minute, they are usually not announced here.

However, there are two radio interviews currently scheduled for today.

For the first, I am scheduled to be on the Republic Broadcasting Network (RBN) at 1:00 pm Central Daylight Time (11:00 PDT) on the Nutri-Medical Report. The host and I expect to discuss prophetic aspects related to my book Hillary Clinton, Prophecy, and the Destruction of the United States . The Republic Broadcasting Network has listeners in many nations around the world.

For the second, I am scheduled to be on for perhaps two hours on BlogTalk radio with the Gathering of Christ Church (gathering of christ church – Blog Talk Radio) at 3:00 pm PDT, which is 6:00 pm EDT. This is the first time I have been invited to be on this program. I believe we will be discussing early church writings about whether early Christians observed Saturday or Sunday as well as common mistranslations that most who profess Jesus tend to rely on who believe that the Sabbath changed.

I have been on radio at least 69 times since the official formation of the Continuing Church of God 3 1/2 years ago. Presuming today’s interviews go as planned, then it will be at least 71 times.

Doing secular radio interviews gives an opportunity to reach people who otherwise would not be as open to hearing the Church of God message.

Of course, being on radio is something that COG leaders have done since no later than the 1930s. Radio was used so much to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom and other biblical messages, that after he left CG7, the late Herbert W. Armstrong initially named his group the Radio Church of God.

Radio is one of the forms of mass media that we in the Continuing Church of God use to teach people about Jesus’ Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24:14) and other teachings (Matthew 28:19-20).
