Taxpayers last year shelled out more than $1 trillion just in interest costs on the debt, and are expected to pay some $1.2 trillion this year, a total that eclipses all other outlays except Social Security, defense and healthcare.

The 6% deficit to GDP ratio the government is running is unheard of in an expansionary economy. Prior to the 2008 financial crisis, the U.S. had not run a shortfall that massive relative to total output since 1945 as the nation was escaping the World War II economy.

The tab, then, will be picked up future generations saddled with today’s debt and deficits.

How will history assess President Biden?

The proper historical view of the Biden-Harris Administration is the biblical one.

And, for that, the Biden-Harris Administration was a failure.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been a moral disaster for the United States.

Joe Biden repeatedly pushed the LGBTQ+ agenda, Transgender Visibility Day, DEI, genital mutilation, abortion, and government over religious rights.

As far as abortion goes, there has never been a vice-president who endorsed it so much and so often as Kamala Harris. Before she ran as the Democratic party candidate for president, her main public outreach over the previous year or two had been promoting abortion.

Yet, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris claimed to have the moral high ground on such issues.

The Bible warns:

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil (Isaiah 5:20).

Without going into unique specifics about either, let’s consider how they are both similar:

1. Neither lives like a member of their professed faiths is supposed to try to live.
2. Both support LGBTQ rights.
3. One is an adulterer, the other an adulteress.
4. Both have repeatedly supported increasing US debt.
5. Both have publicly made numerous gaffes and misstatements.
6. Both have called for unchecked empowerment of  law-enforcement entities.
7. Neither has called for national repentance.
8. Neither has sought first the Kingdom of God.
9. Both have been accused of hypocrisy.

Something else to add is that I have noticed in the past few months that Joe Biden publicly takes God’s name in vain.

That is wrong and he should know that.

I am not a Republican nor a Democrat.

As long-term readers of this COGwriter Church of God News page are aware, I consider that Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris are evil.

Of course, it is not that male leaders cannot lead to disaster–for they can. Notice also the following, which does not mention gender:

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).

The first half of the verse above applies to the Biden-Harris Administration.

And yes, the time will come when the USA is destroyed (cf. Daniel 11:39).

And no, Donald Trump will not prevent that.

As far as political leaders go, the Apostle Paul wrote:

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior (1 Timothy 2:1-3).

Notice that we are to pray for worldly leaders and those that have authority over us so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life.

Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris have all been in my prayers.

As far as the USA itself goes, the handwriting is on the wall for its coming end.

American Democratic or Republican politicians are not what the USA needs.

The USA needs repentance, the return of Jesus, and the coming Kingdom of God.
