Federal judge overturns ‘heartbeat’ abortion restriction

In a move that is sadly not surprising, a US federal judge has ruled that even after a heartbeat is present, abortion can be done in North Dakota, and declares its law that prohibits this as unconstitutional:

A US federal judge has overthrown a North Dakota law banning abortion after the foetus’ heartbeat can be detected, as early as six weeks in some cases.

District Judge Daniel Hovland found the law “invalid and unconstitutional” on Wednesday.

The North Dakota abortion law was considered the most restrictive in the nation.

The state attorney general has not yet announced whether he plans to appeal against the decision.

“The United States Supreme Court has spoken and has unequivocally said no state may deprive a woman of the choice to terminate her pregnancy at a point prior to viability,” Judge Hovland wrote in his ruling…

The state’s sole abortion clinic and the Center for Reproductive Rights sued to overturn the law last July.

“The court was correct to call this law exactly what it is: a blatant violation of the constitutional guarantees afforded to all women,” Center for Reproductive Rights president Nancy Northrup wrote in a statement following the ruling. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-27058552

The Constitution of the USA does not guarantee any right to abortion. None of the original colonies allowed it when its Constitution was approved–it took nearly two hundred years after the USA declared its independence from the UK that a court improperly ruled otherwise.

I have quoted the following scriptures before, so again notice what they are teaching:

12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).

The federal judges in the USA seem determined to overturn state laws that restrict abortion or homosexual marriage. It is not only federal judges as the current US President Obama, and a potential US President Hillary Clinton support abortion and many parts of the homosexual agenda.

This is not good for the USA. Notice abortion related statements from both of them:

I also believe that abortion should be safe, legal and rare and that the government should do much more to support women so that the right guaranteed in our constitution is exercised in rare circumstances…As President, I will promote policies and judicial nominees who will uphold our constitutional liberties. Freedom to murder unborn babies is not safe to them nor is it the exercise of true liberty. Let me add that I do not believe that potential Republican candidates for US President, like Senator Rand Paul, are going to stop the legalization of abortions in the USA.

Notice something that God hates:

So you shall put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD (Deuteronomy 21:9).

These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren (Proverbs 6:16-19).

Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known, And there is no justice in their ways; They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace (Isaiah 59:7-8).

Thus says the LORD: “Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place (Jeremiah 22:3).

“Yet your eyes and your heart are for nothing but your covetousness, For shedding innocent blood, And practicing oppression and violence” (Jeremiah 22:17).

Babies are innocent. Killing them is the shedding of innocent blood. The Bible also warns of destruction to those who approve of homosexuality as well as sins that can be tied to abortion (see Romans 1:18-32).

There are terrible consequences for sin, and instead of properly discouraging sexual immorality, abortion increases the tendency towards sin. This does not bode well for the United States.

While Europe, China, and certain other areas also have abortion and other issues, the reality is that the Bible shows that, for a time, they will do much better than the USA. So much so, because the time is coming when the USA will be no more.
