The suspect shot dead after ramming his car into barriers outside the US Capitol has been identified by NBC News and other media outlets as Noah Green, a 25-year-old black man and reportedly a follower of the Nation of Islam.Green allegedly drove a car into security barriers outside the US Capitol on Friday afternoon, injuring two Capitol Police officers, one fatally. Police say he was shot by the officers as he left his vehicle and lunged at them with a knife.
Despite their investigation being in its early stages, police say they have so far ruled out terrorism as a motive. …
In the weeks leading up to the attack, Green wrote on Instagram that the US government was targeting him with “mind control,” also claiming he had “terrible afflictions” that were “presumably [caused] by the CIA and FBI, government agencies of the United States of America,” according to CNN. Another post described the federal government as the “#1 enemy of Black people.”
On Green’s Facebook page, moreover, he indicated that he was a follower of the Nation of Islam, a black nationalist interpretation of Islam that once counted Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali as members. A number of leftists, including a Democrat 2022 congressional candidate, put the blame for the Capitol attack on America First members of Congress …
During a press conference after the attack, Robert Contee of DC Metro Police said that the attack did not “appear to be terrorism related.” Many leftists took this as further confirmation that the Capitol attacker was a white male, when this couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Part of the reason, in my view, is because for years the mainstream media has often been pushing an improper racial agenda.
Here is something I posted about that here in 2016:
In my view, selective media coverage is related to three factors:

- The media supports the race-baiting agenda of many political leaders (which, in my view, is part of what has led to the protests).
- The media is less interested in a balanced representation of truth, but instead believes it should play more of a political role.
- The media is afraid that if they do not come across as sufficiently sympathetic to the protesters, that they will become targets themselves (and I saw one ‘protester’ assault a reporter on the news) and/or that they will be accused of being racists themselves.
We are in violent times …
Consider the following prophecy for the end times:

This being said, this is NOT justifying terrorism or racist positions of any group, right or left, black or white, Republican or Democrat, etc.
But we do see more and more division being fanned in the USA. This will NOT end well. Jesus said:
25 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. (Matthew 12:25)
We are seeing more divide in the USA and parts of it certainly appear to be intentional. Much of it is ideological. The USA is becoming less and less united and more polarized.
This will not end well for the USA (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8; Daniel 11:39).
Now regarding race, notice something from the old Radio Church of God, many decades ago, written by the late Garner Ted Armstrong:

The cause: HUMAN NATURE. And remember, once again, just what IS human nature ! Human nature is a mixture of vanity, jealousy, lust and greed. Jeremiah was inspired to write, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it” (Jer. 17:9).
James said it is the NATURE of man to rebel, to riot, to fight wars! “From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not , because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts” (Jas. 4:1-3).
The Bible is the book about human nature. It explains what human nature really IS, how it is hostile and angry toward law. The apostle Paul said, “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be!” (Rom. 8 :7.) And the lusts, jealousies, resentments and frustrations of human nature are not limited to anyone race. But they are most assuredly aggravated by race hatred. …
Racial tensions in the United States are being aggravated during these modern times, not quieted. Bigotry and bias are INCREASING, not decreasing. …

People are supposed to love one another. But many do not understand how God views race–for details, check out the online sermon: Race and Grace; Do you view race as God does?
As far as terror goes, that is expected. Notice the following prophecy:
25 There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25)
As far as race goes, ALL people are part of the human race.
We all descended from Adam and Eve, and then later from the descendants of Noah’s son’s and their wives.
Notice something related to the first:
20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. (Genesis 3:20)
While there were hominids of various types before Adam and Eve, all modern humans descended from Adam and Eve–so, yes, we are all part of the human race, from the family of Adam and Eve.
After the flood, Noah’s children moved to different places:
1 Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood.
2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. 3 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. 4 The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5 From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.
6 The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. 7 The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

According to the Bible everyone came from first the family of Adam and Eve, and then the descendants of Noah’s sons.
As far as race and salvation goes, the Bible teaches:
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:11-13)
29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. (Luke 13:29)
So, people of all races and lands will be saved.
The Bible, beginning with Abraham, shows that God makes promises to people who descended from various ones.
Now, various critics have accused the COGs of racism because we believe what the Bible teaches on prophetic matters.
Years ago, a Protestant website commented about and referred to my article Should a Christian Vote?
But, someone who looked at that website objected claiming because I believed in the promises given by Jacob to Ephraim and Manasseh, I must be a racist, hence he should not mention anything from me.
Well, I contacted the webmaster. And after providing information, he (correctly) posted that my view that we all had to have descended from people in the Bible (like Noah’s descendants), that salvation is not a matter of race (cf. Romans 10:8-13), and that God promised various things to the descendants of Israel, he understood that was not a racist position–but a biblical one.
Now on the matter of race, here is something from the Statement of Beliefs of the Continuing Church of God:
LOVE AND SALVATION FOR ALL RACES AND PEOPLES
Racial hatred is wrong. While there can be racial differences, the Bible does not teach that one race is superior in His eyes to any other. The Bible commands all humankind to love their neighbors as themselves (Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 22:39; Acts 17:24-29). Jesus came to bring joy to all peoples (Luke 2:10). The Bible shows that salvation is now freely offered to both Jews and Gentiles (Acts 10:34-35; Romans 10:8-13; cf. Joel 2:32) and that God intends to save people “of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues” (Revelation 7:9). Christian love should be shown to people of all ethnicities (Romans 13:10; Luke 10:30-37; (see What About Romans 11:25 and the Full Number of the Gentiles? and What is the Ezekiel Warning?), and continue in doctrine (1 Timothy 4:16). “Our God is the God of salvation” (Psalm 68:20) “And all flesh shall see the salvation of God” (Luke 3:6; see Universal OFFER of Salvation, Apokatastasis: Can God save the lost in an age to come? Hundreds of scriptures reveal God’s plan of salvation).
