The past day or so has seen some backlash against the ‘transgender agenda’:

The battle over transgender rights has exploded into the mainstream in 2016, with the issue of bathroom access taking the forefront.

Mississippi and North Carolina sparked anger in the LGBT community and among its supporters by passing legislation restricting access. Last month, Massachusetts became the first state this year to go in the opposite direction.

And Monday, a federal judge in Texas issued a nationwide injunction barring federal government agencies from taking action against school districts that don’t follow the Obama administration’s guidance on transgender bathroom policies in schools. http://ktla.com/2016/08/23/national-debates-rage-over-transgender-rights-bathroom-access/

A major new study of sexuality and gender by two of the top experts in the field at Johns Hopkins University finds there’s little scientific evidence for the “born that way” theory, nor is gender identity “an innate, fixed human property independent of biological sex.”

But the authors, Lawrence S. Mayer and Paul McHugh, expressed alarm at the developing trend in the United States of parents declaring their child to be transgendered and subjecting the child to hormone treatments, behavioral adjustments and even surgery.

Mayer is a scholar-in-residence in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and a professor of statistics and biostatistics at Arizona State University.

McHugh is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and was for 25 years the psychiatrist in chief at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Children who express any identification of the opposite gender almost always leave those expressions behind as they grow, the scholars argue.

“Despite the scientific uncertainty, drastic interventions are prescribed and delivered to patients identifying, or identified, as transgender. This is especially troubling when the patients receiving these interventions are children,” the authors wrote in the study, “Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences,” published in The New Atlantis.

“We read popular reports about plans for medical and surgical interventions for many prepubescent children, some as young as six, and other therapeutic approaches undertaken for children as young as two.

“We suggest that no one can determine the gender identity of a two-year-old. We have reservations about how well scientists understand what it even means for a child to have developed sense of his or her gender, but notwithstanding that issue, we are deeply alarmed that these therapies, treatments, and surgeries seem disproportionate to the severity of the distress being experienced by these young people, and are at any rate premature since the majority of children who identify as the gender opposite their biological sex will not continue to do so as adults.

Actually, one’s gender identity is pretty clear for just about everybody based on biology. Scientists and others should realize this.

Additionally, taking this a step further, long-term studies for those surgically-transgendered tended to show such poor outcomes that places like Johns Hopkins stopped performing such surgeries (at least for a time).

A federal judge in Texas has temporarily blocked the Obama administration’s public schools directive for transgender students. The guidelines allow students to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity.

But U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor in Fort Worth sided with Texas and 12 other states that sued the administration. The judge also warned his injunction would not be the final word. From Dallas, NPR’s Wade Goodwyn reports.

WADE GOODWYN, BYLINE: Judge Reed O’Connor’s injunction turned on definitions of the Title IX statute which prohibits sex discrimination in schools that receive federal funding. When issuing its directive in May, the Obama administration interpreted the word sex to include transgender students. But O’Connor rejected that analysis, writing, it cannot be disputed that the plain meaning of the term sex, when it was enacted, meant the biological differences between male and female at their birth.

Nevertheless, the judge acknowledged that important civil rights issues were at stake. This case presents the difficult issue of balancing the protection of student rights and that of personal privacy. The resolution of this difficult policy issue is not the subject of this order.

Michael Sullivan is the president of Empower Texans, a conservative advocacy organization which opposes the government’s transgender directive.

MICHAEL SULLIVAN: This ruling demonstrates that process matters, that no matter how sincerely held someone has as a view, you can’t just start issuing edicts in our system of government.

GOODWYN: And Sullivan agrees with the federal judge that the Obama guidelines go beyond what a president is allowed to do.

SULLIVAN: This is legislation. This is not a president utilizing his authority to interpret laws. There’s nothing on the books that one could use this as a basis for interpreting a law to promulgate regulations.

GOODWYN: Transgender rights advocates were disappointed but not devastated by the temporary injunction. … The judge’s injunction will apply nationally. The Department of Justice indicated it is disappointed in the ruling, and it’s studying its options. Obviously, Barack Obama’s ‘Department of Justice’ is disappointed and it will see how else to try to force the transgender agenda.

Few in the government believe in biblical standards for morality. And when science does not support the transgender agenda, it is ignored.

The transgender agenda is evil, but many governmental leaders are promoting it.

The Bible warns:

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; (Isaiah 5:20)

Many, if not most, transgender people ‘cross-dress,’ yet that is condemned as an abomination in the Bible:

5 A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)

The Bible clearly condemns cross-dressing. The Bible also condemns males acting effeminate:

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, KJV)

Males are not to act like they are female.

Perhaps it should be added that it is getting to be considered wrong for someone to call a male a boy if he wants to be considered as a girl. While ‘truth’ is supposed to be a defense for speech, those associated with the transgender agenda have also redefined truth to mean what they say. And they will ignore biological truth to do so.

The time will come when the USA, and likely some private companies, will apparently stop the efforts of websites like this one to tell the biblical truth of various matters (see also Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word).

The Bible warns against not only sexual immorality, but approving it:

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:20-32)

The USA is not benefiting from homosexuality or the transgender agenda. Surgically changing one’s sex organs is dishonoring one’s body.

This will not end well for the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (cf. Daniel 11:39) nor the rest of the West (cf. Daniel 11:44-45).

God made humans male and female:

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27)

Nowhere in the Bible is any human considered to be any sex/gender other than male and female. And those who act otherwise are warned against (Deuteronomy 22:5; 1 Corinthians 6:10-12; Romans 1:18-32). One is not a different gender than their actual genitalia.

But now the USA government and various others have their own, antibiblical ideas. Yet:

33 God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33)

The transgender agenda encourages and exploits confusion. It is NOT good for those who consider themselves transgendered.
