WJ: Disney’s Woke ‘Lightyear’ Tanks at US Box Office, But Mainstream Media Can’t Seem to Figure Out Why
Today, I saw a lot of headlines about the latest Disney Pixar movie called Lightyear not meeting box office expectations. The three mainstream media articles I read did not mention the politically incorrect reason the animation did not meet expectations. But two sources outside the mainstream did. Here are some comments from one of them, the non-mainstream Western Journal:

When Disney’s woke “Toy Story” spinoff/prequel “Lightyear” arrived in theaters Friday, it came trailing plenty of woke controversy in its wake.
The company made a big deal about reinserting a wholly extraneous scene featuring a lesbian kiss in the film as a rejoinder to Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Parental Rights in Education bill — you know, what progressives call the “Don’t Say Gay” bill (that has nothing to do with saying “gay”).
Fourteen foreign markets had already banned the picture and it seems unlikely the largest foreign market for U.S. films, China, will allow it to be released there without edits. (According to Vice, Disney has refused.)
Actor Chris Evans, now voicing main character Buzz Lightyear, has called parents who objected to having someone else’s sexual morality shoved into their child’s face “idiots” and “dinosaurs.” Producer Galyn Susman compared the scene to “showing failed relationships” on screen, implying parents who got upset over one and not the other were automatically bigoted.
According to The Daily Wire, “Lightyear” brought in $51 million in its first weekend at the U.S. box office. While that was enough for second spot, it was nowhere near what analysts had predicted. According to CNBC, the movie was expected to take in $70 million to $85 million domestically.

The mainstream sources I read today mainly said the reasons for lower revenues were that parents were confused that this was not about the Toy Story movies, some found the plot confusing, and families are not really going back to movie theaters much. NONE of the mainstream media articles I read today even mentioned the Lesbian kiss or that it could be an issue for parents.

Lightyear, the latest piece of child grooming media from the woke predators at the Walt Disney Co., is looking like a box office catastrophe, which is only a surprise to those who don’t live in the real world.
I cannot say this strongly enough, if you are a Christian parent of a young child, do not under any circumstances take them to see ‘Lightyear’, the latest offering from woke Disney Pixar. It’s not so much because of the same-sex lesbian kiss that have included for your young child’s entertainment, it is because Disney has become a predatory organization bent on corrupting the mind of your child. Don’t watch this movie, don’t go to Disney World or Disneyland, unless of course you support the grooming of your children.
If Christian parents cannot stand up and make these woke companies take notice that the grooming of our kids will not be tolerated, then why do you call yourselves Christians? We are called to be a witness of Jesus Christ, we are called to be ‘salt and light’ in an unsavory and dark world, and if we cannot do that, then maybe the fault lies with us and not with Disney. Since NTEB started in 2009, the percent of people in America who identify as LGBTQIA+ has grown from 2.3% to 7.1%. Why is that? Is Disney promoting abominations? According to the Bible it most certainly is. In addition to “Out” which is focused about a homosexual male and “Onward” which also condoned homosexuality, it is a big promoter of “Pride Month.” So, much so that on June 27, 2021, Disney+ intends to stream “This is Me: Pride Celebration Spectacular” hosted by “Nina West” that stage name of Andrew Levitt, who was born male but now dresses and performs as a female–contrary to scriptures like Deuteronomy 22:5. Is Disney inviting the wrath of God? Were pride, sexual immorality, and going after “strange flesh” reasons that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed? What should parents and children do? What does the Bible teach? Dr. Thiel discusses and addresses these issues with scriptures and other information.

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus has released, and then deplatformed, a new video with a threat to many American parents:
“You think we’re sinful, you fight against our right, you say we all lead lives you can’t respect. But you’re just frightened, you think that we’ll corrupt your kids if our agenda goes unchecked. Fine, just this once, you’re correct,” the lyrics go.
“We’ll convert your children, happens bit by bit, quietly and subtlety and you will barely notice it, you can keep them from disco, warn about San Francisco, make them wear pleated pants, we don’t care –
“We’re coming for them, we’re coming for your children! We’re coming for them, we’re coming for them, WE’RE COMING FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!!”

Yes, Disney and other LGBTQ+ promoters are trying to recruit children to at least accept perversity, and they want more to participate in it as well.
While some have claimed the gay chorus singers were just doing a parody, and were not serious, one reader sent me a link to a statement from the leaders of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, which included the following:

The Bible condemns both pride and homosexuality as sins.
The Bible is the word of God.
But the LGBTQ+ crowd will not heed what it says.
The following is applicable to what the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, Disney, and others have been doing:
9 The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves. (Isaiah 3:9)
In Genesis 19:24-25, we read that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God.
And why did it happen?
7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (Jude 7)
Homosexuality is a form of sexual immorality that involves going after “strange flesh.”
Notice that God turned:
6…the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly (2 Peter 2:6)
Thus, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah were to serve as an example to those who would live as they did.
The prophet Ezekiel twice associates “pride” with Sodom (Ezekiel 16:49,56)–which is also something we see with the LGBTQ+ movement today.
The Bible states that the LGBTQ+ are committing abominations:
5 A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)
22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. (Leviticus 20:13)
Let me also point out that the New Testament says that those who approve of such behaviors, even if they do not do them themselves, are worthy of death (Romans 1:18-32).
Notice what God says parents should do:
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6).
Warn your children that the LGBTQ+ agenda is an unacceptable abomination.
Denounce attempts promoting sinful abominations.
The truth is that no one, child or adult, should be trying to promote abominations.
The Bible teaches:
1 “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you — ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:1-9)
4 “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant,
Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,
With the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
6 And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” (Malachi 4:4-6)
Disney is doing the opposite of what scripture is teaching and that will bring disaster.
Do not let that organization, or anyone for that matter, deceive your children to go against the Bible.

Former US Congressman Ron Paul wrote that government schools have no business instructing young children in sexuality. Yet, because of Big Tech’s support of anti-biblical censorship, as well as LGBTQ+ support from governmental, academic, and the media, the Bible refers to the time we are in as an evil time:
10 They hate the one who rebukes in the gate,
And they abhor the one who speaks uprightly. …13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time,
For it is an evil time. (Amos 5:10,13)
We are in an evil time that will end in a lot of ruin and destruction.
Please heed the words of Jesus and pray for God’s Kingdom to come.
