Security services have identified 350 Islamic State militants who have returned to Britain from Syria and who pose a potential terror threat.
This is in addition to the 3,000 violent Islamist extremists that MI5 has confirmed are already in the country, Whitehall sources have told The Times.
MI5 has said 850 people have traveled from the UK to Islamic State-controlled parts of Syria. Whilst some that have returned are designated as ‘disillusioned with extremism’ and allegedly pose no danger, a large number subscribe to Islamist ideology and are trained to handle firearms and explosives.
At the end of 2016, the Belgian interior minister said a “wave” of between 3,000 and 5,000 Islamic State jihadists who have European passports could return to the continent, as the terror group begins to lose territory in Iraq and Syria.
The newspaper reports that keeping one jihadist under 24-hour surveillance requires between 24 and 30 police or intelligence officers, and puts enormous strain on intelligence services.
High-risk suspects who are believed to be engaged in planning attacks need to be subject to man-hour intensive physical surveillance as they are most aware of techniques to avoid electronic eavesdropping by GCHQ and MI5. http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/05/06/350-islamic-state-fighters-returning-uk-pose-terrorist-threat/
So, basically it is unrealistic, if not impossible, for the police in the United Kingdom to be able to adequately monitor all these potential terrorists.
Furthermore, the figures mentioned in the news article do not include all the other Syrian and Muslim refugees that are in the UK.
Syrian and Palestinian refugees, whether or not once associated with the so-called Islamic State, post a dangerous risk to the UK.
Notice that the Bible warns of problems in the future from Arabic lands (Psalm 83:3-7), and specifically from Palestinians and Syrians:
8 The Lord sent a word against Jacob, And it has fallen on Israel. 9 All the people will know — Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria — … 11 Therefore the Lord shall set up The adversaries of Rezin against him, And spur his enemies on, 12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth. (Isaiah 9:8-9, 11-12)
The above prophecy is for the British as they are descendants of Ephraim and the USA as they include descendants of Samaria (see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). So, sadly more terrorism is expected (see also Why Terrorism? Is Terrorism Prophesied?). This also includes places like Canada which has taken in a lot of Syrian refugees.
The Bible also warns of various Arabic and Turkish peoples, “They have taken crafty counsel against Your people” (Psalm 83:3). That sounds a lot like terrorism, especially when you consider that other verses in that Psalm (Psalm 83:4-7) show that the purpose of the crafty counsel is the elimination of the end time descendants of Israel–which includes Ephraim and Manasseh/Samaria (cf. Genesis 48:12-16; see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).
Terror is prophesied for the end time descendants of the children of Israel:
25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25)
12 “Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)
25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. (Proverbs 1:25-27)
5 Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way (Ecclesiastes 12:5).
6 You have forsaken Me,” says the Lord,
“You have gone backward.
Therefore I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you;
I am weary of relenting!
7 And I will winnow them with a winnowing fan in the gates of the land;
I will bereave them of children;
I will destroy My people,
Since they do not return from their ways.
8 Their widows will be increased to Me more than the sand of the seas;
I will bring against them,
Against the mother of the young men,
A plunderer at noonday;
I will cause anguish and terror to fall on them suddenly. (Jeremiah 15:6-8)
Terror within is referring to terrorists from people living within a nation. Common sense tells us that returning terrorists and terrorist supporters pose a real terrorist threat.
While many political, media, and other leaders refuse to believe the Bible, the reality is that those of us who believe the Bible realize that terrorism is prophesied.
There is likely to be a lull related to some type of a peace deal (cf. Daniel 9:27; see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27), future terrorism will hit not only the UK, its Anglo-Saxon descended allies, and the USA, but also many in Europe (cf. Daniel 11:4043) and elsewhere.
The only real solution will be the Kingdom of God. Pray for it to come (Matthew 6:10; see also Prayer: What Does the Bible Teach?).
