The negotiations between the European Union and USA related to the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) have not gone well. Now, Germany wants to start talking trade again:

Germany’s finance minister has called for fresh talks over a free trade agreement between the European Union and the United States, a newspaper reported on Sunday, aiming to revive discussions halted by former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trump ended negotiations over the so-called Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and instead pressed a number of trade disputes with the EU.
“We should resume negotiations on a transatlantic free trade agreement. Why would Germany want to do that now?
Donald Trump stopped being USA president 14 months ago.
Well, it may be because Germany has decided that it has a way to reduce its trade surplus with the USA.
How might it do that?
Well, one way is to buy US nuclear capable stealth bombers:

After a seemingly interminable ‘will they, won’t they’ scenario, Germany has finally decided that it will, after all, buy F-35A stealth fighters as it seeks to rearm the Luftwaffe with a new, nuclear-capable warplane. Today’s official announcement puts to end the years of conjecture about how Berlin will choose to go about replacing its aging Tornado IDS swing-wing strike aircraft fleet, during which different combinations of Eurofighter Typhoon, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, and F-35, had all been on the table at one point or another.A tweet from the German Ministry of Defense confirmed that, …
The number of F-35s to be bought and the costs involved were not immediately disclosed by the German Ministry of Defense, but earlier reports put the number of jets at 35. These will meet the German requirement for an aircraft that can deliver U.S.-owned nuclear gravity bombs under a long-standing NATO agreement.
U.S. B61 nuclear gravity bombs are stored at Büchel Air Base in Germany, as well as bases in certain other NATO countries, and American authorities can release the bombs for use by German crews in a crisis….
The U.S. Air Force has said in the past that the F-35A could start carrying these bombs operationally before the end of this year. …
The defense ministry announced that as well as being retained as an integral part of the Luftwaffe alongside the F-35, the Eurofighter also “will be further developed for the electronic combat role.” A total of 15 Eurofighter ECRs will reportedly be acquired. … The decision to buy the F-35 is the first large-scale arms purchase under the new coalition government under Chancellor Olaf Scholz. …

So, while Germany had hoped to possibly only use a European fighter, the Ukrainian situation has helped push it to make a more immediate decision to also get American ones. And since Germany would have to buy those from the USA, this is likely a factor in getting Germany to want to start talking trade with the USA again.
As far as trade goes, the Bible tells that many will become rich by the coming European daughter of Babylon system, but that it will eventually end, and many will mourn:

A massive trading system, also involving human trafficking, is discussed in the Hebrew scriptures as well (Ezekiel 27:12-16). Anti-American sentiments will be worse than most now imagine!
Despite USA military strength, the Bible teaches that Europe will take over the strongest military power:
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
The power with the strongest fortresses is the USA.

Well, there are military risks.
Could the USA, UK, and Canada actually be hit by nuclear weapons from Europe?
Back in 1979, the late Herbert W. Armstrong claimed that the Great Tribulation would begin with a nuclear attack against the UK and/or USA and then Canada. Notice:

While we are starting to see a united Europe, as well as a Europe working on its military, does Europe really have a lot of nuclear weapons that it could use to do this or something similar?
Yes.
When my wife and I first visited the Netherlands in 1983, we learned that some there were upset that American nuclear weapons were expected to end up being stored there. And this nuclear weapons storage did happen.
Notice something reported by Time:
Is Italy capable of delivering a thermonuclear strike? Could the Belgians and the Dutch drop hydrogen bombs on enemy targets? And what about Germany — a country where fear of atomkraft is so great that the last government opposed all civilian nuclear power? Germany’s air force couldn’t possibly be training to deliver bombs 13 times more powerful than the one that destroyed Hiroshima, could it?
It is Europe’s dirty secret that the list of nuclear-capable countries extends beyond those that have built their own weapons — Britain, France and Russia. The truth is that Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands store nuclear bombs on their air-force bases and have planes capable of delivering them. According to Global Research out of Canada, the amount of nuclear weapons could be higher than the Time article indicated:
The US has supplied some 480 B61 thermonuclear bombs to five so-called “non-nuclear states”, including Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey. Casually disregarded by the Vienna based UN Nuclear Watchdog (IAEA), the US has actively contributed to the proliferation of nuclear weapons in Western Europe…
Among the five “undeclared nuclear states”, “Germany remains the most heavily nuclearized country with three nuclear bases (two of which are fully operational) and may store as many as 150 [B61 bunker buster ] bombs” (Ibid). In accordance with “NATO strike plans” (mentioned above) these tactical nuclear weapons are also targeted at the Middle East.
While Germany is not categorized officially as a nuclear power, it produces nuclear warheads for the French Navy. It stockpiles nuclear warheads (made in America) and it has the capabilities of delivering nuclear weapons. Moreover, The European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company – EADS , a Franco-German-Spanish joint venture, controlled by Deutsche Aerospace and the powerful Daimler Group is Europe’s second largest military producer, supplying .France’s M51 nuclear missile.

Anyway, this has been called “nuclear sharing,” but the reality is that the nuclear weapons are available to Europe.
Let me also add that although American permission is supposed to be needed for Germany to get the weapons for use, the reality is that the head of NATO in Europe is a European–and he seems to have that authority already.
Now, here is some information about France:

The reality is that if Europe chooses to turn against the USA, it has the nuclear ability to do so pretty much any time.

Europe has been looking at adding more nuclear weapons of its own:

Various ones in Europe are advocating more nuclear weapons for Europe.
Europe is in the process of developing an empire. The Bible shows that Europe will have a “great army” (Daniel 11:25; watch also PESCO and a Great European Army) with “many ships” (cf. Daniel 11:40).
Of course, some believe that despite WWI, WWII, and previous massive wars, that Europe would never start WWIII. Yet, this overlooks a biblical prophecy:
5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? 9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? 10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; 11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? (Isaiah 10:5-11, KJV)
The USA is sometimes prophetically referred to as Samaria (and sometimes as Manasseh) in biblical prophecy (for details, watch USA in Prophecy: Samaria). So, even though Germanic-led Europe (referred to as Assyria above) does not seem to wish to do this (Isaiah 10:7), according to biblical prophecy it will come to pass. The USA will be defeated (cf. Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
Notice that the Bible tells of a coming time of massive devastation:
23 ‘The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’ (Deuteronomy 29:23-24)
19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts
The land is burned up,
And the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother.
20 And he shall snatch on the right hand
And be hungry;
He shall devour on the left hand
And not be satisfied; Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. 21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; Together they shall be against Judah (Isaiah 9:19-21, NKJV).
The above descriptions are consistent with a nuclear or similar attack. Manasseh represents the USA and Ephraim its British-descended allies (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). THIS HAS NOT YET HAPPENED IN HISTORY AND IS A PROPHECY FOR OUR TIME.
The Bible shows Europe will be a militarily successful power:
2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? (Revelation 13:2-4)
The Bible shows that the European power (called Assyria in Isaiah 10; see also Germany in Biblical Prophecy) does not think it intends to be militaristic, but that it will and will conquer. The Bible shows that the world will marvel that Europe was able to be such a military power as Europe basically had been dismissed as irrelevant.
But aren’t the Germans and Americans friends?
Consider that in relationship to the following:

The princess among the provinces

Her tears are on her cheeks;
Among all her lovers

The USA has been great among the nations and will be destroyed by those it considers friends–many of which, like Germany, are part of NATO!
This will take the USA by surprise.
For those unfamiliar with the term blitzkrieg, it was a German war strategy utilized in World War II. Here is some information about it:
Blitzkrieg means “lightning war”. It was an innovative military technique first used by the Germans in World War Two and was a tactic based on speed and surprise. Blitzkrieg relied on a military force be based around light tank units supported by planes and infantry (foot soldiers). The tactic was based on Alfred von Schlieffen’s ‘Schlieffen Plan’ – this was a doctrine formed during WWI that focused on quick miliatry victory. It was later developed in Germany by an army officer called Heinz Guderian who looked at new technologies, namely dive bombers and light tanks, to improve the German army’s manoeuvrability. …
Blitzkrieg was based on speed, co-ordination and movement; the major science of this approach was the ability to get large mobile forces through weak points in the enemies defences and then cause damage when behind his static lines. …
The Blitzkrieg was fundamentally about moving away from the tried and tested methods of modern warfare and creating a new, more effective doctrine. To that end, Hitler had given his full backing to Guderian. It is interesting to me that Germany got the blitzkrieg ideas from France and the UK. In other words, Germany got tactics and information from nations it was later going to invade. I expect the same in the future. It should be noted that the USA still has the ‘cold war’ mentality about the Germans and acts like they will always be USA allies. I read something a while back in the Wall Street Journal where the writer could not fathom that Germans could consider that the USA is a threat. Many do not understand the mentality of the Germans and where all of this will lead (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11).
As far as blitzkrieg goes, consider the following biblical prophecy:
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
In WWIII, I expect that the Germans will lead a type of blitzkrieg against the USA, the UK, and other Anglo-Saxon descended nations. It will be based upon technology, coordination, intelligence, and deception. It is likely that the attack will be under the guise of a NATO exercise and/or otherwise feigned support.
It is quite likely that Europe will use NATO as a shield from Russia, and eventually turn against the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies.
It is my view that Europe will likely attack the USA and/or the UK under the guise of a NATO (or some other defense treaty) exercise and use nuclear bombers. And yes, German-dominated Europe would be willing to use USA nuclear bombs against the USA, UK, and Canada!
While now is not the time–“the end it not yet” (Matthew 24:6; see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?)–the Germans and others in Europe have access to nuclear weaponry and other technology, to make this come to pass.

The situation in Ukraine has helped push Germany to do what it is prophesied to do–and that is to become a substantial power.
During the Cold War, the communists used to say that the capitalists would sell them the rope to hang them.
Some things do not change.
The USA, interested in increased trade, is happy to sell Germany nuclear strike bombers.
