Alex Tsipras says Greece will stay in the Eurozone; ECB gives ’emergency loans’ to Greek banks

The Prime Minister of Greece wants his country to remain in the Eurozone and the Europeans have decided to continue to loan Greece more money:

The Greek prime minister has promised that “there will be a solution to the Greek debt crisis that will allow the country to return to growth while staying in the eurozone.”

Alexis Tsipras said Friday a solution “would be based on EU rules and democracy, which would allow Greece to return to growth in the euro.” He said that “all those who are betting on crisis and terror scenarios will be proven wrong.” http://www.voanews.com/content/tsipras-there-willl-be-a-solution-to-debt-crisis/2828752.html

The European Central Bank has approved an increase in emergency loans to Greece’s banking system after eurozone finance ministers failed to strike a deal to prevent it from defaulting on its debts.

The move, which is by a smaller amount than Greece had requested, comes as Greek banks have continued to suffer withdrawals.

This is not a surprise. Nor is the situation with Greece over.

The reality is that the government of Greece does not have the resources to go on without loans. Nor does it currently have the political ability to raise enough money from its own citizens to continue as it wants to.

The Europeans know this. They hope that, in time, Greece will be able to pay its way and that if they lose Greece, it may take a while to get it back.

The bottom line is that the Europeans want Greece to remain in, and even if Greece were to leave, biblical prophecy indicates that it will have to support the end time Beast power (Daniel 2; Daniel 7; Revelation 13:1-10), also known as the final King of North (Daniel 11:22-44).

The Bible shows that the final European Beast power will be composed of both stronger and weaker nations:

41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. (Daniel 2:41-43)

Hence, the situation with Greece is not out-of-line with Bible prophecy.
