Protests and riots have continued in Anaheim, California for the fourth consecutive night:

Riot police, protesters clash in Anaheim for 4th night over police shootings

(CBS/AP) ANAHEIM, Calif. – Riot police fired bean bag rounds and pepper balls into a crowd of protestors late Tuesday outside City Hall as council members inside voted unanimously to ask the U.S. attorney’s office to investigate recent officer-involved shootings, including one of an unarmed man.

About 250 riot police were called in by officials to quell the more than 600 demonstrators before restoring order. Twenty-four people were arrested in the unrest.

The somewhat neighboring community of Fullerton had problems related to the beating of a homeless man, and it took a lot of community involvement to get some version of “justice” from city and police officials there. The situation in Fullerton may have made those in Anaheim more likely to protest (as perhaps has the “Occupy” movement may have). Both in Anaheim and Fullerton there were concerns about “justice.”

Consider the following:

15 ‘You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor. (Leviticus 19:15)

17 “You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow’s garment as a pledge. (Deuteronomy 24:17)

In many cases, “justice” seems to come with a price. It is no longer considered a given by many in the USA. Relatively few realize that the end-time sorrows and troubles in society are still in the beginning stages (Matthew 24:5-8), and will get much worse according to the Bible (Matthew 24:21-22).

More and more there are protests in the Western world and responses from the growing governmental police powers.

There is a better way, but the way of God does not seem to be a major concern to most in the USA:

3 For I proclaim the name of the Lord: Ascribe greatness to our God. 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. (Deuteronomy 32:3-4)

The time will relatively soon come when Jesus will return, His Kingdom will be established, and there will be no injustice. Also notice:

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3-4)

God will solve the problems that plague humanity when He comes–this is part of the gospel–the good news–of the coming Kingdom of God.
Jesus foretold troubles as part of the beginning of sorrows:

8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:8)

3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” 4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword. (Revelation 6:3-4)

More protests and riots remain to come. But an even worse hour of trial is coming later (Revelation 3:10; Jeremiah 30:7).

As Jesus said:

37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch! (Mark 13:36-37)
