Another of the ‘Five Eyes’ backing USA position? UK reverses course on Huawei

Although the European Union and United Kingdom had both declared they would allow the Chinese company Huawei to be part of its 5G plans, the UK has changed its position to that advocated by the USA:

Britain is set to phase out Huawei equipment from its 5G mobile networks this year, the U.K. press reported over the weekend. If so, it marks a major U-turn in the government’s position on the Chinese telecommunications giant.
The government is drawing up plans to strip Huawei gear from Britain’s next-generation networks by the end of the year …
It comes after London said in January that Huawei could play a limited role in Britain’s 5G networks, a move which angered the U.S. as it sought to get other countries to block the Chinese company. Washington maintains that Huawei is a national security risk, alleging its equipment could be used by Beijing for espionage. Huawei has repeatedly denied the claim.
The apparent policy reversal was driven by a new report from a branch of British intelligence agency GCHQ that raised new security fears over Huawei following U.S. moves to cut off the Chinese firm from key chips.
The new U.S. rule passed in May, requires foreign manufacturers using American chipmaking equipment to get a license before being able to sell semiconductors to Huawei. The U.K.’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) launched an emergency review of Huawei’s role shortly after.
That review is set to be presented to the government this week and concludes that U.S. sanctions will force Huawei to use untrusted technology that could make the risk impossible to control, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government is now drawing up plans to stop the purchase of new Huawei gear and rip out existing 5G equipment, the newspaper said. …
The U.S. has been on a global campaign for over a year to convince nations to block Huawei from their 5G networks. Some such as Australia have followed suit.
But when the U.K. decided to allow Huawei a limited role, a move that reportedly angered President Donald Trump. U.S. politicians have publicly urged the U.K. to change its mind. While the USA does use economic and other pressures, as it turns out, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA comprise a group called the Five Eyes.
The European Union is NOT part of the Five Eyes and have been less than pleased that they have long been excluded.

The former NSA contractor Edward Snowden described the Five Eyes as a “supra-national intelligence organisation that does not answer to the known laws of its own countries”.[7] Documents leaked by Snowden in 2013 revealed that the FVEY has been spying on one another’s citizens and sharing the collected information with each other in order to circumvent restrictive domestic regulations on surveillance of citizens.[8][9][10][11]

Despite issues in relationships between the USA and the rest of the Five Eyes, prophetically we expect that all of the Five Eyes will be taken over, probably within a decade.
Biblically, those that compose the Five Eyes have a fraternal relationship (for details, check out the article Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).
Notice that fraternal bond was also pointed to in a speech given by Winston Churchill on March 5, 1946:

Australia and the UK’s Huawei decisions are consistent with the fraternal relationship.
The Huawei banning moves will not endear the UK or Australia with China.

The Chinese paper ‘Global Times’ has carried threats in 2011 and 2016 suggesting the China would militarily intervene against Australia. It has declared that Australia is a ‘paper cat,’ that China will get revenge against it, and that Australia would be no more. Is this possible? Are there biblical and other reasons to think that this threat is real? Dr. Thiel answers these questions and brings up the fact that he has been warning about this threat since last decade.

Continental Europe is not in this Five Eyes club. It has wanted to be. And while those in Europe do not normally think that they will wish to destroy the USA (cf. Isaiah 10:7), the Bible shows that ultimately a primarily continental European power will (Isaiah 10:5-12; Daniel 11:39). The UK coming closer to the USA on Huawei is something that the EU does not care for. Plus, the EU is not going to get over the UK’s decision to leave the EU (Brexit).
As far as the relationship of the Five Eyes to Europe, consider that the following prophecy shows that allies will be betrayed:

The USA, UK (AKA “Great Britain”), and Canada (including the other Anglo-Saxon-Commonwealth nations) were “great among the nations.” And the Bible is clear that betrayal is coming from national FRIENDS!
What about Australia and New Zealand?
Although I personally was unaware of it until July 14, 2016, in February 1963, the old Radio Church of God earlier warned of a threat from Asia in general, and China in particular, to Australia:

While the United States and Great Britain are faced with the prophesied revival of the “beast,” a union of ten powerful nations in Europe, forming the rebuilding of the ancient Roman Empire, Australia may well be taken over by an entirely different enemy! Well, Britain did enter the old Common Market and as the 1963 article indicated, Australia has become more and more dependent upon Asian markets. Furthermore, as the 1963 article suggested, Australia is becoming vulnerable for captivity from China. The same applies to New Zealand.
Anyway, I expect problems in Australia and its eventual loss of sovereignty. I also expect New Zealand to lose its sovereignty. Though it is likely that the USA and UK will lose theirs first (Canada too, will lose its sovereignty).
Being allied to the USA will not save Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the UK.
