The two Democratic presidential candidates, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, are questioning their opponent’s qualifications for the job:

NEW YORK (AP) — Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign fired back at her rival Bernie Sanders after the Vermont senator questioned whether she is “qualified” to be president.

In a fundraising email sent late Wednesday, Hillary for America’s deputy communications director, Christina Reynolds, rebuked Sanders’ accusations, saying it was “a ridiculous and irresponsible attack for someone to make — not just against the person who is almost certainly going to be the nominee of their party this November, but against someone who is one of the most qualified people to run for the presidency in the history of the United States.”

Sanders told a crowd of more than 10,000 people at Temple University’s Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday that Clinton has been saying lately that she thinks that I am quote-unquote not qualified to be president.”

“I don’t believe that she is qualified if she is, through her super PAC, taking tens of millions of dollars in special-interest funds,” he said.

Reynolds added in her email: “I don’t know why he said ‘quote-unquote’ — she’s never said that.”

Sanders also said Clinton is not qualified because of her vote for the war in Iraq and her support for trade agreements that he says are harmful to American workers.

It’s the latest salvo in a war of words that has gotten increasingly heated as underdog Sanders has gained ground on front-runner Clinton, capped by the Vermont senator’s victory in Tuesday’s Wisconsin primary.

Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon responded quickly to Sanders’ comment, writing on Twitter: “Hillary Clinton did not say Bernie Sanders was ‘not qualified.’ But he has now – absurdly – said it about her. This is a new low.”

Clinton did not say Sanders was “unqualified” or “not qualified” during a much-quoted interview Wednesday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

In a discussion of an interview with Sanders that appeared in the New York Daily News, Clinton was asked if “Bernie Sanders is qualified and ready to be president of the United States.”

This is the strangest presidential primary cycle I have ever seen. Let me add her that Hillary Clinton questioned whether or not Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist, was actually a Democrat.

Are either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders ‘qualified’ to be the President of the United States?

Well, it depends on your definition of ‘qualified.’

Since Bernie Sanders is Jewish and Hillary Clinton claims to be a Christian, let’s look at some of what the Hebrew scriptures teach are to be traits of godly leaders:

19 Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. 20 And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do. 21 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. (Exodus 18:19-21)

2 “The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me,
And His word was on my tongue.
3 The God of Israel said,
The Rock of Israel spoke to me:
‘He who rules over men must be just,
Ruling in the fear of God. (2 Samuel 23:2-3)

Neither Bernie Sanders nor Hillary Clinton fear God nor endorse His laws and statutes. Both of them support and push the LBGT agenda as well as the killing of unborn babies (abortion).

Neither Bernie Sanders nor Hillary Clinton hate covetousness as covetousness is a major part of their campaigns. Both claim that they will take from people to give to other people.

Thus, based on the criteria of Exodus 18:19-21 and 2 Samuel 23:2-3, neither of them are ‘qualified’ to hold an office such as that of the President of the United States.

Despite this, the last poll I saw indicated the Hillary Clinton is likely to be the next President of the United States.

While she obviously thinks that is a good idea, she might wish to consider that she seems to meet the following ‘qualification’ to be a leader:

17 “‘The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’ (Daniel 4:17, NIV)

17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. (Daniel 4:17, KJV)

In other words, God often lets the lowest of people become the top leader.

Many are concerned that Hillary Clinton may be indicted for what appears to be criminal actions regarding her emails. She is currently under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI, aware of the politics of this, has moved relatively slowly, meaning that I feel if she was not this big in the political world, she would have at least been indicted. If she is indicted for this before the election, this would hurt her chances of winning. But stranger things have happened.

Although many sincerely believe that it is their “Christian duty” to vote (even though that “duty” is not specified in the Bible, see Should a Christian Vote? and/or watch Should Christians Vote?), some seem to have overlooked some prophecies related to political leaders in the end times:

12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)

16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed (Isaiah 9:16).

It should be clear that Isaiah prophesied that there would be end time leaders that cause people to err. This is what many politicians, directly and indirectly do.

The USA needs national repentance and the Kingdom of God.

Let me also add that, irrespective of who becomes the next president, by virtue of timing, that leader will be in a sense, apocalyptic. Meaning that steps will be taken by the next president that will help lead to the end of the USA.
