‘Biden Announces $1.9 Trillion Coronavirus Relief Package’ ‘2021 may be the year that the world loses confidence in the dollar’

Biden Announces $1.9 Trillion Coronavirus Relief Package

January 15, 2021

Joe Biden unveiled a coronavirus response plan Thursday evening, emphasizing the urgency of passing legislation to help Americans through the pandemic and the economic crisis it has wrought.

“During this pandemic, millions of Americans, through no fault of their own, have lost the dignity and respect that comes with a paycheck,” Biden said in an address introducing the American Rescue Plan.

Biden’s plan includes a new round of direct payments of $1,400 for most Americans, funding to promote the safe opening of schools and mounting a national vaccine program. Also included is $400 a week in additional unemployment insurance, through September.

Providing relief to small businesses, notably those owned by entrepreneurs of color, was also detailed in the plan.

The plan, which the transition team described as “ambitious, but achievable,” is estimated to total $1.9 trillion, according to a statement released ahead of Biden’s speech. https://www.voanews.com/covid-19-pandemic/biden-announces-19-trillion-coronavirus-relief-package-0

Another proposal, that is likely to be approved, for more debt to try to assist the economy that government restrictions and lockdowns harmed.

While various ones will, temporarily at least, benefit from this, consider also the following:

2021 may be the year that the world loses confidence in the dollar

Nearly 186 years ago to the day, on January 8, 1835, US President Andrew Jackson accomplished what no other American president has done before, or since: he paid off the national debt.

Jackson was a staunch fiscal conservative. He despised banks, and, according to his biographer, he considered central banking “black magic”, and the national debt a “moral failing”.

So he paid it all off– roughly $5 million.

That was the first and only time that the US national debt was zero. By the end of 1835, the debt had increased to a trivial $33,733. …

The national debt is now nearly $28 trillion– 40% larger than the entire US economy. And the debt will most certainly hit $30 trillion over the next several months.

Last year alone the debt grew by $4.5 trillion due to all the Covid stimulus.

This matters. Because, sooner or later, that debt is going to mature and will need to be repaid. …

Back in February, just prior to Covid gripping the world, foreigners owned $7.23 trillion worth of US government bonds– approximately 30% of the total national debt.

By October (which is the most recent data available from the Treasury Department), the total amount had fallen slightly to $7.07 trillion. But as a percentage, foreigner ownership had dropped to about 25% of the total national debt.

This isn’t a earth-shattering decline. But it shows a clear unwillingness from foreign governments to buy more US government debt; and also that some of them would like to be repaid when their existing bonds mature. …

As it turns out (according to Bloomberg) $8 TRILLION worth of government debt in the US will mature THIS YEAR alone.

Plus, the Congressional Budget Office expects another $2+ trillion deficit this year due more Covid stimulus.

So that’s potentially $10+ trillion worth of government debt that will need to be placed this year. That’s $300,000 per second.

The only way they’ll realistically accomplish this is if the Federal Reserve ‘prints’ trillions of dollars of new money. …

So there will likely be plenty of cooperation between the Fed and Treasury to print absurd quantities of money this year.

Certainly there will be some bondholders who extend their securities. But most likely the Fed will need to print another $3+ trillion, pushing its balance sheet beyond the $10 trillion mark.

As far as losing confidence in the USA dollar, this has been going on for some time.

The EU, BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), and others have been working for some time to stop the USA dollar from being the world’s primary reserve currency.

Do I expect that to happen in 2021?

No.

Will it ever happen?

Yes.

The increase in USA debt will be a factor according to Habakkuk 2:6-8:

6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him,
And a taunting riddle against him, and say,
‘Woe to him who increases
What is not his — how long?
And to him who loads himself with many pledges’?
7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?
Will they not awaken who oppress you?
And you will become their booty.
8 Because you have plundered many nations,
All the remnant of the people shall plunder you,
Because of men’s blood
And the violence of the land and the city,
And of all who dwell in it. (Habakkuk 2:6-8)

Yes, by loading up ‘pledges’ (like Treasury notes and the Federal Reserve balance sheet through electronic means) and taking advantage of its dollar as the world’s primary reserve currency, the USA is plundering many nations.

When that is figured out by enough, it will not turn out well for the USA.

But debt will not be the only factor in knocking off the USA dollar.

The USA will be affected by civil unrest, ‘natural’ disasters, and probably crop failure in the future.

This will signal to the world that since it could NOT PAY BACK ITS DEBT WHEN THINGS WENT WELL (INCLUDING WHAT DONALD TRUMP CALLED “THE BEST ECONOMY EVER’), the world will realize that it is impossible to continue to rely on the USA dollar.

Its prophesied destruction will then follow.

Yes, the end of the USA and its dollar is coming.

Bad steps will happen in 2021.

But the end of the USA and its dollar WILL NOT HAPPEN IN 2021 (watch also 2021: The Great Tribulation or the Great Reset?)..
