WASHINGTON (AP) — Should former Vice President Joe Biden win the White House in November, America will likely be in for a foreign policy about-face as Biden reverses, dismantles or severely curtails many of President Donald Trump’s most significant and boldest actions.
From the Middle East to Asia, Latin America to Africa and, particularly, Europe, and on issues including trade, terrorism, arms control and immigration, the presumptive Democratic nominee and his advisers have vowed to unleash a tsunami of change in how the U.S. handles itself in the international arena. …
Biden told reporters Tuesday in Delaware that he knows “how to get things done internationally.”
“I understand the national security and intelligence issues,” he said. “That’s what I’ve done my whole life. Trump has no notion of it. None.”
The Trump campaign casts Biden’s foreign policy experience as a weakness.
“Joe Biden’s record of appeasement and globalism would be detrimental for American foreign policy and national security, and after decades of the status quo, President Trump has made it clear that the United States will no longer be taken advantage of by the rest of the world,” deputy press secretary Ken Farnaso said in a statement.
For decades, the first and often only foreign policy shift that new presidents of both parties directed on their first day in office, and Trump was no exception, was abortion-related.
Like clockwork, Republicans enacted the so-called “Mexico City” language — known by opponents as the “global gag rule” — to prohibit the use of U.S. foreign assistance for abortion-related services. Democrats rescinded it and should Biden win, he has promised to follow suit.
But he’s also pledged to demolish other Trump policies on Day One. They include reversing Trump’s ban on immigration from mainly Muslim countries, restoring U.S. funding and membership to the WHO and halting efforts to oppose the Paris Climate Accord. He’s promised to call top NATO leaders and declare of U.S. foreign policy, “We’re back” while convening a summit of major heads of state in his first year.
One area that will require more nuance is China, which Trump has placed at the top of his foreign policy agenda and on which he has painted Biden as weak.
Biden and his surrogates say they intend to act quickly on the following:
– Middle East: Restore assistance to the Palestinian Authority that the Trump administration has eliminated as well as to agencies that support Palestinian refugees. Biden hasn’t said he will reverse Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital or return the embassy to Tel Aviv.
– United Nations: Restore U.S. membership in U.N. agencies such as the U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and possibly the U.N. Human Rights Commission.
– Europe: Tone down rhetoric Trump has used to berate and insult European allies. Biden can be expected to try to warm relations among NATO partners.
– Africa: Try to raise America’s profile on the continent, which has become a new battleground for competition with China.
– Asia: Revert to a traditional U.S. stance supporting the presence of American troops in Japan and South Korea. Biden has also criticized Trump’s personal relationship with Kim.
– Latin America: Cancel Trump administration agreements that sent asylum-seeking immigrants to Mexico and other countries while they await court dates and halt all new construction of the southern border wall. As far as promoting abortions, yes Joe Biden intends to do that.

As president, Biden will protect and build on Obamacare …
- Working to codify Roe v. Wade.
- Supporting the repeal of the Hyde Amendment.
- Reducing our unacceptably high maternal mortality rate, which disproportionately affects women of color.

Three of the above four have to do with abortion–the Hyde Amendment prohibits federal funds to be used to pay for abortions. Abortion promoting looks to be a major ‘value’ of Joe Biden.
But, abortion is wrong (see also Abortion, the Bible, and a Woman’s Right to Choose).
As far as pollution goes, reducing pollution is good to do. Christians are to be proper stewards on the environment (see The Bible, Christians, and the Environment).
As far as increasing Muslim immigrants, yes Joe Biden would be expected to do that. Because of prophecies of terrorism and various Middle Eastern peoples, this looks to be dangerous (see Why Terrorism? Is Terrorism Prophesied?).
As far as toning down the rhetoric with Europe goes, Joe Biden may very well do that.
But it is too late.
Since the election of Donald Trump, Europe has formed a military alliance called PESCO. PESCO stands for PErmanent Structured COoperation.
The term permanent would suggest that the Europeans have no intention of dismantling it because of future changes in the US presidency.

PESCO and a Great European Army
In November 2018, French President Macron called for a “true European army” because of China, Russia, and the USA. Some others in Europe have echoed that sentiment. On November 9, 2018, US President Donald Trump called that an insult, but the next day said that the USA wanted “a very strong Europe.” Emmanuel Macron referred to Donald Trump as “my friend” and indicated a desire to strengthen Europe’s military spending. In December 2017, 25 European nations agreed to be part of a military alliance called PESCO. Europe also has NATO and IEI. Will Europe end up with “a great army”? Has Donald Trump’s announcement to withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty gotten some to say that Europe must rebel against the USA? Is the idea of a United States of Europe and a European army a “paranoid fantasy” or a biblical reality? Will the USA regret Europe becoming a stronger military power? Will the USA be betrayed by “friends” such as its continental European allies? Does the Bible teach any or all of this? Are there connections to the Beast of Revelation or the King of the North of Daniel 11? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters in this video.

While toning down the rhetoric by a possible Biden Administration may appease many, the biblical reality is that the US is prophesied to be taken over by some considered to be friends:
1 How lonely sits the city
That was full of people!
How like a widow is she,
Who was great among the nations!
The princess among the provinces
Has become a slave!2 She weeps bitterly in the night,
Her tears are on her cheeks;
Among all her lovers
She has none to comfort her.
All her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:1-2)
That passage in Lamentations has long brought to my mind an attack against the USA by its European allies in NATO. The USA and Great Britain (including its British-descended Commonwealth members, like Australia and Canada) were “great among the nations” and this was basically prophesied to Abraham’s descendants (see Genesis 12:1-2; see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). The Bible is clear that betrayal is coming from allies, national FRIENDS! And the US and UK do not consider Russia to be a friend.
The Europeans will help fulfill those prophecies and this will not end up well for the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
The old Worldwide Church of God published the following:
An ancient warning was applied to the biblical nation of Judah that could be a solemn warning to modern America:
“How does the city sit solitary, that was full of people! How is she become as a widow! She that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary! She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers [allies] she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies” (Lamentations 1:1-2). America’s decline … And eventually—as the editors of this magazine have repeatedly warned from the pages of the Bible—national captivity. “She that was great among the nations! She that was a princess among the cities has become a vassal” (Lamentations 1:1). (Hogberg GH. America – A Paper Tiger? Plain Truth, January 1980)
And, of course, USA is tied with Europe via the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Yet regarding NATO, it has long been my view that the USA and/or UK may be attacked under the guise of some type of NATO training exercise. The existence of NATO gives the Europeans cover for publicly preparing for a military event, while being able to publicly state that the preparation is only part of an exercise. The Germans have historically used the element of surprise to gain military advantage and that is what I expect based upon various biblical prophecies.
Perhaps it should be mentioned that next week, Joe Biden intends to announce his vice presidential choice (see https://apnews.com/fe694f1775ca46a79335db5f24ee0817). Joe Biden is expected to select a woman.
The Bible itself warns that if the children of Israel sinned and did not repent, the following would happen:
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)
So, we see a specific biblical prophecy warning of a time where there will be female rulers. Jacob placed his name Israel on Ephraim and Manasseh (Genesis 48:1-16). We have seen the descendants of Ephraim have a female ruling them. In addition to having been ruled by a queen, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand all have had at least one woman hold the position of Prime Minister. Hence, it is logical to suggest this could be expected to affect descendants of Manasseh–the USA.
If Joe Biden is elected, I expect he will be replaced (due to health reasons or death) by a woman. Thus if he is elected, his vice-presidential running mate, whoever she may be, looks to be one to be President of the United States for a time. While the prophecy in Isaiah 3:12 does not absolutely require that, it does allow this as something to consider. Such a female leader will further cause the United States to err and help lead it towards destruction.

Various politicians have announced their intentions to run for the office of the President of the United States in 2020. ‘Politico’ ran an article about the ‘sorry state’ of various candidates. Some candidates have felt the need to apologize for previous statements in support of biblical marriage and the need to endorse items of the LGBTQ agenda. Many also support abortion and other anti-biblical actions. Are these ‘American values’? Should the English language be changed to eliminate male/female and singular pronouns? Does the Bible warn about female leaders? Does the Bible warn about leaders that lead people to err? What about condoning sexual immortality? Do the presidential contenders fit prophecies warned about in 2 Timothy 3:1-5? These are some of the subjects that Dr. Thiel addresses.

The 2020 presidential election looks to feature people who are against many aspects of biblical morality.
The Bible itself warns that if the children of Israel sinned and did not repent, the following would happen:
12 As for My people … Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed. (Isaiah 9:16)
It seems like all who are potentially major candidates for the 2020 presidential election advocate and promote several positions which are not biblically good.
The Apostle Paul warned:
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Many of those statements apply to those who wish to win the 2020 US Presidential election (from whatever political party). And they also apply to Joe Biden.
The time is coming when the USA will be eliminated as a nation (watch also our sermon video The Bible, the USA, and the King of the West).
We are getting closer to the start of the Great Tribulation and whoever wins in November and is in office next January will take steps that will be apocalyptic.
