WASHINGTON – The race for the Democratic presidential nomination has consolidated from a once-crowded field with more than 20 candidates into essentially a two-man contest after robust results Tuesday for former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Biden won nine states, including the delegate-rich state of Texas where his victory was a surprise after early national polls showed Sanders with a commanding lead there. He was strong across the South, also capturing Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Arkansas, along with Minnesota and Massachusetts.
Sanders took the state with the most delegates, California, as well as Colorado, Utah and his home state of Vermont.
The two candidates were still locked in a close battle early Wednesday in Maine where the contest was too close too call.
Sanders expressed confidence at a late Tuesday rally in Vermont, saying not only would he become the Democratic nominee, but also defeat Republican President Donald Trump.
“You cannot beat Trump with the same old, same old kind of politics. What we need is a new politics that brings working class people into our political movement, which brings young people into our political movement, and which in November will create the highest voter turnout in American political history,” Sanders said.
Biden’s victories, coming three days after his resounding win in South Carolina, projected new strength in the race to oppose Trump in November’s national election. Biden won the South Carolina contest due to robust support from African American voters.
Before South Carolina, Biden’s candidacy showed little signs of life with a fourth-place finish in Iowa, a fifth-place finish in New Hampshire and a distant second-place showing in Nevada. He earned late endorsements from former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, and former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke — three of his opponents who had dropped out of the race.
Biden pointed to that resurgence as he addressed his supporters in California late Tuesday, saying, “It’s a good night, and it seems to be getting even better.”
“I’m here to report we are very much alive,” he said at a rally in Los Angeles. “And make no mistake about it, this campaign will send Donald Trump packing.” …
Sanders and Biden had to contend with two other major opponents, Massachusetts Sen. After the South Carolina primary last Saturday, Pete Buttegeig and Amy Klobuchar dropped out of the race and then endorsed Joe Biden. There was a basic panic that the Democrats might nominate Bernie Sanders and that Donald Trump would beat him.
So, what about former Vice President Joe Biden?
Notice the first thing he wants to do if elected President of the United States:

The so-called “Equality Act,” is, of course, biblically immoral. But Joe Biden and other supporters of it will not accept biblical authority. Instead they are pushing an agenda that will end in death per Romans 1:18-31.
The ‘Equality Act” in the UK caused a minister to resign as he felt that parents should be told before the Protestant school got the genitalia of an eight-year-old removed and changed to female genitalia:
A vicar has resigned following a bitter dispute with his bishop over the way a Church of England school handled an eight-year-old pupil’s plan to change gender.
The Reverend John Parker, a governor at the school, supported the boy’s wish to become a girl but said he was silenced when he raised concerns that parents and pupils would be kept in the dark. …
Mr Parker said last night: ‘I was basically told by my bishop that if I wished to faithfully follow the teachings of the Bible then I was no longer welcome in the Church. It felt very much like I was being silenced by the Church and the school.’
The dispute comes amid growing controversy over the number of children now choosing to change gender.
Mr Parker, 49, was told in March that an eight-year-old pupil would be transitioning from a boy to a girl at the primary school in an Essex village. The Mail on Sunday is not naming the school to protect the privacy of the pupils.
He asked for evidence that the child had seen a psychologist or a medical professional to ensure that the desire to live as a girl was not being driven by the parents – but his request was dismissed.
The vicar also questioned whether any ‘pastoral provisions’ had been made for Christian parents and children who might be confused about what was going on at the school.
But Mr Parker said when he put these points to the head teacher at a meeting, she dismissed them as merely being his ‘personal views’.

One would think that a Protestant school would allow its ministers to attempt to try to follow the Bible, but that is not the way many think.
Now, notice something else about the proposed US ‘Equality Act’:
Dobson, on behalf of his James Dobson Family Institute, wrote, “Make no mistake – the so-called Equality Act is nothing but a thinly veiled attempt to finish off religious liberty in America once and for all, which ought to be plainly obvious based upon a cursory reading of the First Amendment.”
The proposal, H.R. 5 and S. 788, would provide special protections for the LGBT community throughout American society. It would state that religious beliefs are not a defense in a dispute between gay rights and constitutionally protected religious rights.
“I wish I could say I was shocked to see the speed with which Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats have brought to committee the sweet sounding but entirely treacherous Equality Act. This decision demonstrates a frightening willingness by those on the left to advance a radical social agenda at a time when our nation already faces so many other divisive challenges,” he said.
“Simply put, by creating a protected class of citizens out of the LGBT community, this bill places Christians who believe in traditional marriage at grave legal and civil jeopardy,” said Dobson.
“While no evangelical Christian would ever support hate or violence of any kind against an LGBT individual – or any other person for that matter – to modify the 1964 Civil Rights Act with this wrong-headed bill would not only be legally fraught, it would also put moral equivalence to the unprecedented, centuries-long struggle of countless millions of African Americans to gain freedom from slavery and the persistent, systematic oppression that followed.”

Telling the truth, and even religious opinions, continues to come under fire.
Loss of freedom was prophesied:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)
Notice that the Bible tells of a time that will come when the word of God will not be found. I do not believe that this means that there will be no more Bibles–but that those wanting to better understand it will have trouble finding explanations.
I have warned for years that government pressures/regulations of the Internet would result in the fulfillment of Amos 8:11-12.

At a campaign event in Houston on Monday, Biden launched into a quote that mentions God, and since he cannot do that as a Democrat, he had to shut it down before reaching the word, Limbaugh told his listeners Tuesday.
Biden was trying to recite the preamble to the Declaration of Independence.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” he began. But he concluded with: “All men and women created by, go– you know — you know the thing. You know how we talk about it, or we the people.”
Limbaugh said: “We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men endowed by their Creator — that’s what he couldn’t say. Democrats can’t acknowledge God. This is where Plugs, to me, is showing signs of being mentally with it. Plugs didn’t forget God. What Plugs realized is he can’t mention God as a Democrat. God is the ecology. God is climate change. You can’t mention God. This is a party — God gets booed at the Democrat convention.”
Limbaugh was recalling the 2012 Democratic National Convention, when mention of God was removed from the party platform.
“Have you forgotten? They remove God. And it’s all about abortion. It’s all about abortion,” he said. “So Plugs (Biden) knows he can’t mention Creator. So he’s trying to [re]cite — and Plugs is old enough when the Democrats used to be able to mention God. They used to be able to go to church. They used to be able to talk about God. They used to be able to talk about Jesus Christ. They used to be able to incorporate God in their politics. They can’t anymore.
“Don’t tell me these people are not a bunch of radical leftists. There’s nothing moderate or mainstream media about ’em. And Plugs here had his wits about him enough to realize that if he mentioned creator or God, he would be in deep doo-doo on the eve of Super Tuesday. So he caught himself. Now, he sounds stupid, but I think in this case Plugs’ mental acuity is actually on display.
“He’s trying to tell them we know it’s God, I can’t say God, Creator, you know what I’m talking about, you know the thing, you know it, I can’t say it. That’s what he’s saying to ’em. Don’t doubt me on this, folks. He didn’t forget God. He didn’t forget endowed by Creator. He knows that. He’s known that. The Declaration of Independence states:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
The Bible warns about those who do not want to retain God in their knowledge:
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:28-32)
The above explains why many politicians advocate terrible things (like abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, etc.). But notice that the Bible also warns that their are deadly consequences to not retaining God and approving behaviours His word condemns.

Various politicians have announced their intentions to run for the office of the President of the United States in 2020. ‘Politico’ ran an article about the ‘sorry state’ of various candidates. Some candidates have felt the need to apologize for previous statements in support of biblical marriage and the need to endorse items of the LGBTQ agenda.
