XIAMEN, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping has shared his vision for the BRICS cooperation which he believes will enter a second “golden decade” if the emerging-market countries work together to overcome the challenges of weak growth and threats to world peace.
Addressing the BRICS Business Forum in Xiamen on Sunday, with Brazilian President Michel Temer and South African President Jacob Zuma in audience, Xi said after ten years a fully-fledged BRICS cooperation framework is taking shape.
With Russia’s Vladimir Putin and India’s Narendra Modi joining in, the leaders of the world’s five major developing countries will chart way forward for the bloc at the ninth BRICS summit scheduled for Sept. 3-5.
Xi on Sunday refuted the assertion that BRICS is losing luster. …
Xi said China has been making increasingly more contribution to regional and global economy.

A dark shadow is looming over the world after more than half a century of peace, the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, has said after North Korea’s sixth nuclear test.
“Thanks to the joint effort of all countries, global peace has reigned for more than half a century. However, incessant conflicts in some parts of the world and hotspot issues are posing challenges to world peace,” Xi said in his 40-minute address to a summit attended by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa in south-east China.
“The intertwined threats of terrorism and a lack of cybersecurity – among others – have cast a dark shadow over the world. The “dark shadow” of the Red Horseman of the Apocalypse is about to rise (cf. Revelation 6:3-4).
That being said, one of the goals of the BRICS group is to dethrone the US dollar as the world’s primary reserve currency:
Putin Declares War Against The US Dollar

Today Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war against the hegemony of the U.S. Dollar. Of course, he couched the declaration in a statement saying Russia would work to counter the ‘excessive domination’ of certain reserver currencies.
The comments were published in an article in the runup to the BRICs summit scheduled to begin Sept 3 in China.
“We are ready to work together with our partners to promote international financial regulation reforms and to overcome the excessive domination of the limited number of reserve currencies. We will also work towards a more balanced distribution of quotas and voting shares within the IMF and the World Bank,” Putin commented, reported Russian state news agency TASS.
“I am confident that the BRICS countries will continue to act in a consolidated manner against protectionism and new barriers in global trade,” he said. “We value the BRICS countries’ consensus on this issue, which allows us to more consistently advocate the foundations of an open, equal and mutually beneficial multilateral trade system and to strengthen the role of the WTO as the key regulator in international trade.”
“The goal is to create a package of cooperation measures to work against the restrictive business practices of large multinational corporations and trans-border violations of competition rules.”
“We hope to be able to discuss new large-scale cooperation tasks in trade and investment and industrial cooperation at the Xiamen Summit,” Putin added, referring to previous BRIC agreements recently negotiated. …
The hegemony of the U.S. Dollar in global trade and banking, since the Bretton-Woods agreements after WWII, have long been a thorn in the side of the BRIC countries. The dollar has an artificial bid, or demand, due to its status as the world’s largest and most important reserve currency. …
However, as the American debt tops $20 trillion on its way to $30 trillion, that demand may be starting to wane. This poses huge risks for America and huge opportunities for other less important currencies. China’s “One Belt, One Road,” also called the ‘Silk Road’ project is expected to assist that goal.
The BRICS nations are Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
If you look at the maps at the beginning of this post, you will see that pretty much all of Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and Europe, as well as parts of South America and Africa are involved with BRICS-related international projects/organizations.
Part of the objective of the BRICS, EAEU, SCO, EU, and Silk Road arrangements is to establish a new world order (SCO, EAEU, and BRICS defining a ‘new world order’?)–an order no longer dominated by the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies, like the UK. And as far as Australia and New Zealand go, they will be ‘swallowed up’ in a sense by one or more Gentile powers–this will happen during the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21; Daniel 8:24-25), which is when the USA will be conquered (Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
As far as the European Union goes, it is upset that the UK is leaving it, is upset with US President Trump, it is threatening actions against the USA for intended sanctions against Russia (see Brussels to act ‘within days’ if US sanctions hurt EU trade with Russia – internal memo), and it would like to cooperate more with the Eurasian Economic Union. So, a coordination of Gentile powers against the Anglo-Americans is occurring.
BRICS, while not part of the EU, wants to hasten this occurrence.
We are currently in the time of Anglo-American dominance–peoples that were prophesied to take on Jacob’s name in Genesis 48. We have been in that time since around the start of the 19th century.
Yet, now we are getting closer to the final Time of the Gentiles.
Notice the following prophecies from the Old and New Testaments:
23 ‘Make a chain,
For the land is filled with crimes of blood,
And the city is full of violence.
24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,
And they will possess their houses;
I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,
And their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Destruction comes;
They will seek peace, but there shall be none. (Ezekiel 7:23-25)23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:23-24)
2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. (Revelation 11:2)
This will happen during a period that “it is the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7) and that the “Gentiles” are dominating. This means those that are descended from Israel or have the name of Jacob (cf. Genesis 48:14-16) will be mainly the ones who are trampled on. One of the peoples that God says He will use to punish the descendants of Israel, Assyria (Isaiah 10:5-11), are a Gentile people–they will normally lead during the time of the Gentiles. This will be a terrible time.
For the final time of the Gentiles to arise, the Gentiles will need to cooperate together against the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies. The BRICS, EAEU, SCO, EU, and Silk Road arrangements are all intended to do that and are all taking steps which align with properly understood biblical prophecies. A block of nations from North Africa and the Middle East will also be involved (cf. Daniel 11:27, 40-43)–this is something that US President Donald Trump and others have encouraged (see How Will Middle East Peace be Brought About?).
Yet, most in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand do not understand what is now happening on the world scene and how they will be affected.
The world will be transformed into a Gentile image. An image that those in the Anglo-American nations will dread!
