US President Donald Trump sent out some tweets on NATO:

Consider the expression, “Be careful what you ask for.”

In the case of the USA, getting Europeans to spend more on their military will not turn out well.

The Bible warns of the military power that Europe will become (Revelation 13:4; Daniel 11:39).

European Council President Donald Tusk sent out the following tweet:

Despite such assurances from Donald Tusk, many (including him) are concerned about the USA and how Europe will be impacted.

BRUSSELS — European Council President Donald Tusk on Tuesday lobbed a verbal grenade at President Trump ahead of a crucial week of diplomacy, warning the U.S. leader not to mix up his friends and his rivals as he meets with NATO leaders, then Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The searing criticism came as Trump plans to fly to Brussels later Tuesday, vowing to punish NATO allies for their failures to live up to their defense spending commitments. Trump has been far friendlier to Putin, saying the men have a range of issues to discuss and that he’s “fine.”

“I would like to address President Trump directly, who for a long time now has been criticizing Europe almost daily for, in his view, insufficient contributions to the common defense capabilities,” Tusk said after signing a cooperation agreement between the European Union and NATO.

“I want to dispel the American president’s argument, which says that the U.S. alone protects Europe against our enemies, and that the U.S. is almost alone in this struggle,” he said. …

He suggested Trump had little regard for U.S. allies.

“Dear America, appreciate your allies. After all, you don’t have that many. And dear Europe, spend more on your defense, because everybody expects an ally that is well-prepared and equipped.”

Shortly after Tusk’s fiery warning, Trump told reporters that he thought the Putin meeting may indeed be warmer than the NATO summit.

The US president told a Montana campaign rally last week he’s coming to “tell NATO: ‘You’ve got to start paying your bills. The United States is not going to take care of everything!'” The crowd erupted in applause as Trump returned to his familiar rant against Germany’s low defense spending and its leader, Chancellor Angela Merkel. He said he’d “told Angela” that he “can’t guarantee it, but we’re protecting you and … I don’t know how much protection we get protecting you.”

This chipping away at the bedrock of the alliance — the mutual defense pledge embodied in its Article V — is just the latest threat to NATO’s hopes …

“We’re absolutely right to be nervous,” said Sophia Besch, a fellow with the Centre for European Reform (CER), about the possibility a Trump-Merkel clash could derail the summit. “[Trump] is framing the 2 percent as the golden ticket for any European leaders to get into his good graces, and that’s why everyone is so worried.” …

James Appathurai, NATO deputy assistant secretary general for political affairs and security policy, explained the alliance can’t short-circuit the discussion about “cash, capabilities and contributions.”

“It is very important that we don’t end up in a situation where the United States gets so frustrated that it does start to feel like it needs to take other decisions,” he explained. “That would be a terrible outcome for everyone. So what we need to do is demonstrate that burdens are being shared fairly.” Trump has already suggested he may pull out some of the 35,000 US military personnel currently stationed in Germany. …

BRUSSELS — Behind President Donald Trump’s frequent attacks on European allies is a deeper neglect of the transatlantic relationship: Unfilled positions, truncated meetings, missed or crossed signals and confusion over basic policies. …

By nastily brow-beating allies over everything from military spending, to the Iran nuclear deal, to his perceived victimization of the United States in trade policy, Trump is redrawing the transatlantic relationship in ways that many European officials believe will far outlast his own presidency — making it difficult, if not impossible, for his successors to fully reclaim America’s traditional seat at the head of the table.

“He is rather a gravedigger for the post-war order, which the United States itself has founded,” Christian Ehler, a German member of the European Parliament, who is chair of the delegation for relations with the United States, recently said of Trump. …

But European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, who will visit Trump at the White House later this month, in the latest effort to defuse the trade fight, has offered a grimmer prognosis, and warned that the consequences of Trump’s policies, like withdrawing from the Iran deal, were already shifting the global geopolitical landscape — for example, by pushing Europe to take a more independent approach toward Russia and China. …

In response, officials in Brussels and across the Continent have shifted into survival mode. More independence related to Russia and China? Survival mode?

Consider that the Bible shows that Europe will end up with a “GREAT ARMY” (Daniel 11:25).

Donald Trump is pressuring Europe to do that.

This will not end well for the USA.

As far as Russia goes, I have long expected that Russia will make a deal with the Europeans.

Notice also something that the old Radio Church of God published:

Modern Europe is counseling and making treaties and alliances and agreements to conquer this earth! … Germany, those living in Germany, even the German government, may not yet know that they are going to join in a treaty with the Russians to destroy the United States and bring it to its knees-it is not in his “heart” to think so, but on the other hand it IS in his “heart” to destroy-the very characteristic of the Assyrian, the modern German, is a harsh, cruel, iron, dedication to militarism and destruction! … MAN’S ONLY HOPE LIES IN TURNING TO HIS CREATOR GOD! “At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom. to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, TURN FROM THEIR EVIL, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them… Behold, I frame evil against YOU, and devise a device against YOU: return ye now EVERY ONE from his evil way and make your ways and your doings good!” (Jer. 18:7, 8, 11). The German people are now asking themselves: “Can we rely on the Americans and British?” … These questions lead to rhe logical conclusion that maybe the only people the Germans can rely on themselves. They are now thinking: “Perhaps we can strike a better bargain with the Russians ourselves.” …

Once a German-dominated Europe is fully established, Germany will be ready to negotiate and bargain with Russia- and behind the backs of the Western Allies if necessary. …

When will a Russo-German deal be made? Here is a quotation from a circular letter issued in September, 1950 by the Nazi Geo-political Center in Madrid: “However long we may continue to milk the Americans of millions of dollars, there must come the inevitable moment when we shall have to make it crystal clear to them that we are not willing to join the fight against Russia for American interests … (Germany Plots with the Kremlin by T H. Most Americans and Britons are not aware of what Germany and Europe are planning against them. This is partly due to the cunning of German. politics. …

Europe is looking to make deals with Russia.

While the Europeans have been friends of the USA, and many do not want conflict with the USA, the USA will be destroyed by friends who did not think they intended such destruction according to Bible prophecy:

5 “Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hand is My indignation. 6 I will send him against an ungodly nation, And against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, To seize the spoil, to take the prey, And to tread them down like the mire of the streets. 7 Yet he does not mean so, Nor does his heart think so; But it is in his heart to destroy, And cut off not a few nations. 8 For he says, ‘Are not my princes altogether kings? 9 Is not Calno like Carchemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad? Is not Samaria like Damascus? 10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, Whose carved images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria, 11 As I have done to Samaria and her idols, Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?'” (Isaiah 10:5-11)

All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:1-2)

That will be the end of NATO and the USA. Modern Assyria is central Europe (see Germany’s Assyrian Roots Throughout History and Germany in Biblical and Catholic Prophecy).

For those that think that the USA will not be defeated, understand that Daniel 11:39 shows that a European power will destroy the ‘strongest fortresses’–which in the 21st century belong to the USA, this shows that the USA will be defeated, despite its military strength (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

The Bible teaches that despite its apparent and real divisions, Europe will reorganize, unite, and become a military power called the ‘beast’:

41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. (Daniel 2:41-43)

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)

1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)

This reorganization of Europe will NOT turn out well for the USA nor it Anglo-Saxon descended allies (cf. Daniel 8:25; 11:39; USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

Donald Trump does not seem to appreciate or understand the biblical prophecies related to the USA and Europe. He is inadvertently taking steps that will lead to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies.

Of course, some look at NATO and how disproportionately the USA spends to support it and consider that this means that the USA is so powerful that other NATO nations could never destroy it. But the USA wants to spend less on its military and wants Europe to spend more.

The Europeans will take more steps to separate themselves from the USA. This does not mean that NATO must be totally abandoned. I have felt for decades that the Europeans would likely attack the USA deceptively under the guise of a NATO or similar exercise, and probably will have ground assistance from Mexico, a nation that Donald Trump has repeatedly offended. Donald Trump, in my view, has confirmed this by threatening NATO if the Europeans do not fund more of it, while then saying he is 100% in support of NATO.

Once Europe spends more on its military and gets certain technologies, it will expect more control of military matters and will one day decide it no longer needs NOR WANTS the USA to be around. And according to biblical prophecies, a power from Europe will takeover the USA militarily (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

When you spend more for something yourself, you want more control. And Europe will end up wanting more than most in the USA can imagine.
