Donald Trump is pushing Europe to fulfill biblical prophecies
Without realizing it, US President Donald Trump continues to push Europe to become the world leader in trade and military matters.
Consider the following:

President Donald Trump has a good point when he rages about America’s NATO partners failing to meet even their own burden sharing targets for the alliance’s common defense. …
“It’s costing us too much money and frankly they have to put up more money … we’re paying disproportionately,” Trump said in a CNN town hall event in March 2016. At an acrimonious meeting of NATO leaders last year, he said Europe was not being “fair” to US taxpayers. At the disastrous G7 summit last month, Trump slammed NATO as “worse than NAFTA,” as first reported by Axios.
But ahead of what is shaping up as a bruising NATO summit in Brussels, Belgium, next week, Trump’s anger, expressed in letters sent by the administration to several foreign governments, is raising fears that his hardline approach will backfire and put the alliance itself at risk.
His frustration also seems rooted in a more fundamental hostility to the concept of collective and multilateral cooperation that has united the post-World War II American-led community of democracies.
After all, Trump has a record of pulling out of multilateral arrangements, like the Paris climate accord and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and he is also railing against the World Trade Organization. He says America’s top allies are only interested in raiding its “piggy bank.” …

Many of Donald Trump’s positions are driving the Europeans to conclude that they have little choice but to increase defense spending as well as to get more involved with the World Trade Organization-WTO (or at least to make other trade deals).

Trump: WTO Needs to Change Ways or US Will Do ‘Something’
President Donald Trump is warning the World Trade Organization that if the United States isn’t treated “properly, we will be doing something.”
Trump is again denying plans to withdraw the U.S. from the WTO but tells reporters in the Oval Office that the trade organization needs to change its ways.
Trump has struck U.S. allies with tough tariffs and is planning to impose tough trade penalties on China later this week.
He says the WTO has treated the U.S. “very badly and I hope they change their ways.” He says he’s not “planning anything now” but if the WTO doesn’t treat the U.S. properly, “we will be doing something.” https://moneyandmarkets.com/markets-in-brief-july-2-2018/
Donald Trump is essentially opening the door for Europe to set more of the world’s standards on trade.
Europe will rise up and become a military and trading power according to biblical prophecies.
As far as the military goes, consider the following:
1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)
How do we know that this is related to Europe? Notice another biblical prophecy:
2 Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. 3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. 4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it. 5 “And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’ 6 “After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it. 7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. (Daniel 7:2-8)
The “Great Sea” that bordered the ancient lands of Israel (Numbers 34:6-7; Joshua 1:4; 9:1; 23:4; Ezekiel 47:13-16) is the Mediterranean Sea–and that is the sea that Daniel was referring to. Despite some false claims by some, the Beast power is not a nation like Russia, which does not border the Mediterranean Sea, but Europe which does (Russia, however, will be a factor in eliminating the European beast power, see also The Eurasian Union, the Kings of the East, and Bible Prophecy). A comparison of the beasts in Revelation 13 and Daniel 7 shows that they share many of the same characteristics (for some details, you may wish to watch the YouTube video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).
And trade?
Essentially Europe will dominate the WTO or perhaps instead become an important near equivalent. The Bible predicts:
2 … Babylon … 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury. (Revelation 18:2,3)
The above is referring to the fact that nations of the world are prophesied to get wealthy trading with end time Babylon.
One of the ways that this Babylonian European power will be able to dominate world trade is by developing/writing/controlling many of the rules for international trade, while also having a military that will cause the world to marvel.
Europe is intending to do that now and the President of the USA does not seem to realize where this will head! With more and more of the world upset by US President Donald Trump, Europe is seizing various opportunities that will result in it fulfilling various end time prophecies.
In December 2017, I warned in my article (and sermon 18 items to prophetically watch in 2018), 18 items to prophetically watch in 2018, that trade was an area to watch (listed as number 7) and Europe would work on its own military (number 14). Here is something from item 14:
Europe is working on developing its own army.
One that is independent of the USA.
Furthermore, Europe has been working on technology, like the Large Hadron Collider (see Could the Large Hadron Collider lead to destruction?) and its Galileo satellite system, in order to make this happen.
In December 2017, Europe launched four more satellites for Galileo, plans to launch more in 2018, and expects to be fully operational in 2020 (see Europe’s Galileo system gained four more satellites). This is a trend to watch.
While most do not believe that Europe can or ever will destroy the USA, consider the following prophecies:
5 “Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hand is My indignation. 6 I will send him against an ungodly nation, And against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, To seize the spoil, to take the prey, And to tread them down like the mire of the streets. 7 Yet he does not mean so, Nor does his heart think so; But it is in his heart to destroy, And cut off not a few nations. … 12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, “I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.”(Isaiah 10:5-7,12).
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
In the 21st century, it is the USA with the strongest fortresses. The power with the strongest fortresses will be taken over by the European Beast power. Technology, as well as deception, will be factors in the military takeover of the USA. This will cause the world to marvel.
3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:3-4)
People will be shocked when Europe shows it is a militarily successful power. It is now taking steps that will lead to the fulfillment of various warring prophecies. (Thiel B. 18 items to prophetically watch in 2018. December 2017)
Europe continued with its Galileo program in 2018 (see BBC: EU launches 7th satellite & UK being pushed out of Galileo because of Brexit). Europe’s PESCO military project moved ahead in 2018 (see ‘PESCO is not about peace, it is about preparing for EU wars’ and With PESCO, EU entering a ‘New Era’: An era that will NOT end well for the USA, Canada, or the UK).
It is not that US President Donald Trump does not have any valid points on military spending and trade matters by Europe.
But, to use an American expression, “be careful what you wish for.”
In the case of Donald Trump, he is pushing Europe to be in a position that will result in Europe fulfilling trade, military, and other other prophecies. This will not end well for the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; Habakkuk 2:6-8).
