The President of the European Council gave a message to potential migrants:

EC President Tells Migrants Not to Come to Europe

European Council President Donald Tusk has warned economic migrants not to come to Europe, saying Greece, a popular entry point, and other European states will “no longer be a transit country.”

Tusk made the remarks after meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in Athens Thursday.

Tusk is on a tour of nations grappling with the migrant crisis, ahead of an important EU-Turkey meeting on the subject in Brussels Monday.

Open-border agreement

Tusk said excluding Greece from Europe’s open-border Schengen agreement is not an option for resolving the crisis, which has resulted in an overflow crowd of migrants in Greece waiting for permission to travel west to other European nations.

Tusk said, “Greece is part of Schengen, of the euro area, and of the European Union and will remain so.” …

Tusk travels next to Turkey, where he will meet with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara.

Friday, he meets with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul. Many of the migrants he is opposed to are Muslim. Donald Tusk is Polish and is a Roman Catholic.

Could he possibly know what his church has said will happen to Muslims in Europe and elsewhere?

Catholic writings tell of a time when a ruler will push Islam out of Europe:

St. Francis de Paul (1470):…From your lordship shall be born the great leader of the holy militia…the Great Monarch…He shall be a great captain and prince of holy men, who shall be called ‘the holy Cross-bearers of Jesus Christ,’ with whom he will destroy the Mahometan sect and the rest of the infidels…He shall be the great founder of a new religious order different from all the others…This shall be the last religious order in the Church and shall do more good for our holy religion than all other religious institutes. By force of arms he shall take possession of a great kingdom. He shall destroy the sect of Mahomet…There will be one fold, one shepherd. He shall reign until the end of time. On the whole earth there will be twelve kings, one emperor and one pope. (Culleton, p. 157-161).

Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser (died 1658):…”When everything has been ruined by war; when Catholics are hard pressed by traitorous co-religionists and heretics; when the Church and her servants are denied their rights, the monarchies have been abolished and their rulers murdered…There will rise a valiant monarch anointed … “He will root out false doctrines and destroy the rule of the Moslemism. Pseudo-Methodius (7th century): Muslims will be killed and they will know the tribulation…The Lord will give them to the powers of the Christians whose empire will be elevated above all empires…The Roman King (Great Monarch) will show a great indignation against those who will have denied Christ in Egypt or in Arabia (Araujo, Fabio R. Selected Prophecies and Prophets. BookSurge LLC, Charlestown (SC), 2007, p. 103).

The ‘Great Monarch’ that is spoken of above is quite similar to the final King of the North that the Bible warns against. Both Catholic and biblical prophecy teach that this leader will be a European, probably at least partially of German heritage and he will fight those of the Arab/Muslim lands. As the 21st century proceeds, do not be surprised that Islam will be pushed out of Europe to a major degree (Daniel 11:36-38; Revelation 13:4,8,11-17).

Angela Merkel’s comments will likely result in Muslims now starting to plan how to fight and stay in Europe. There will be conflict between the Europeans and the Arabs (watch also the video sermonette War is Coming Between Europeans and Arabs).

Notice both a Catholic and a biblical prophecy:

Rudolph Gekner (died 1675). “A great prince of the North with a most powerful army will traverse all Europe, uproot all republics, and exterminate all rebels. His sword moved by Divine power will most valiantly defend the Church of Jesus Christ. He will combat on behalf of the true orthodox faith, and shall subdue to his dominion the Mahometan Empire.” (Cited in Connor, Edward. Prophecy for Today. Imprimatur + A.J. Willinger, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno; Reprint: Tan Books and Publishers, Rockford (IL), 1984, p.36).

40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. (Daniel 11:40-43)

Notice that the ‘great prince of the North’ is expected to subdue an Islamic Empire. Notice that the Bible teaches that the ‘king of the North‘ will go into the Middle East and North Africa and eliminate the leader called the ‘king of the South.’ The lands of the ‘king of the South’ are currently Islamic. Perhaps it should be mentioned that Syria is expected to support the confederation of the king of the South (see also Ezekiel 30:2-8), though the time will come that its capital will be destroyed (Isaiah 17:1).

The destruction of a coming Islamic confederation (see The Prophesied ‘Islamic’ Confederation ) will be part of the result of what is happening in the Middle East and in the West.

Although we need to rely on the Bible, and not ‘private Catholic prophecies,’ notice the way some of them mirror the Bible. This should give us pause to consider that some who claim Catholicism will point to them as part of their justification for actions they may take in the future.

Consider also that Bible prophecy indicates that Syrians and Palestinians will cause problems in the end times::

11 Therefore the Lord shall set up The adversaries of Rezin against him, And spur his enemies on, 12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth. (Isaiah 9:11-12)

Notice that the above prophecy involves “Israel.” This would seem to include Israel’s descendants in Europe, like those in the UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, and Sweden (as well as those in lands like the USA and Canada–who also seem intent on bringing in Syrian migrants).

It should also be understood that while the Bible indicates that Europeans will defeat the Muslim peoples in the Middle East and North Africa per Daniel 11:40-43 and Ezekiel 30:2-8, the Bible also shows that the Islamic nations there will make deals with the Europeans (Daniel 11:27; Psalm 83)–these deals will NOT turn out well for the USA in the long run (cf. Daniel 11:39), nor ultimately many of the Arabic nations.

As I have been saying for a long time, Islamic migrant issues will be one of the triggers to get Europe to ultimately reorganize as the Bible teaches it will in Revelation 17:12-13, Daniel 11:21-38, Daniel 2:41-43, and other passages.

Merkel calls for Germany to get more involved in world affairs

Chancellor Angela Merkel called on Wednesday for Germany to play a bigger role in world affairs, resisting domestic pressure for the country to turn in on itself in the face of the migrant crisis.

Campaigning for her Christian Democrats (CDU) ahead of three state elections on March 13 that will serve as a litmus test of her migrant policies, Merkel said it would no longer suffice for Germany to export goods to the rest of the world.

“Rather, we will have to take on more responsibility in an open world for what happens outside our European borders,” she told a rally in Wittlich in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, one of the three states gearing up for elections.

“That means more development aid, that means more common standards on climate protection, that means fair trade and a lot more than one perhaps feels in a closed society,” she added.

Notice that Germany wants a bigger international role and wants to set standards for climate and trade.

The Bible warns of an economic power in Europe that will dominate trade (cf. Revelation 18; see also WTO/TTIP and the Babylonian Beast).

Now, for many decades, various Church of God writers have warned that Germany would rise up and lead Europe in the end times. Here is one item from the Radio Church of God in the 1950s:

We know what Germany’s plan is. WE know how the United States of Europe will be used by it to attempt world domination. PROPHECY shows 10 kings—TEN DICTATORS—will arise in Europe and GIVE THEIR POWER TO GERMANY.

Notice also something from 1959 and 1982 from the late Herbert W. Armstrong:

I have been telling you all along that Russia is not going to plunge us into World War III now. Russia is not going to attack the United States. I have been telling you, even though we look on Germany as an ally, that Germany is the nation for us to WATCH. (Armstrong HW. Biggest World New Happening in Germany. Plain Truth. August 1959, p. 3)

Now the Germans are not the master race. They are a race of orderly people who are very great producers of certain mechanical things, have very great talents in certain directions. They are a people who have been down and out after World War I. And Hitler came around and raised them up with the idea that they are better than any other people on earth, and he practically had them hypnotized. I think a great many people in Germany today realize that, and I don’t think you find very much of Hitlerism in Germany today. However, it’s coming in a little different way today. The Bible teaches that a more dictatorial and warring Europe will emerge (Revelation 13:4).

This final European Beast leader, who is also known as the final King of the North, will ultimately promote his religion (Daniel 11:36-38; which will not be Islam. He will at first feign and claim a slightly different form of Roman Catholicism (cf. Daniel 11:38; Revelation 17). He ultimately will destroy the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies (Daniel 11:39). He will likely have at least some German ancestry.

Despite migrant troubles, the Europeans will dominate the world economy for a time (Revelation 18). The Europeans are taking steps now to make this happen, but they are generally ignored by the mainstream press (see also European Technology and the Beast of Revelation and World War III: Steps in Progress).

What is happening with migrants and with Germany is setting the stage for the fulfillment of end time biblical prophecies.
