The European Union took steps to deal with, as well as reduce, migrants:

EU member states and the European Parliament on Wednesday agreed to a major overhaul of the bloc’s laws on handling asylum-seekers and migrants, European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas said, describing the deal as a “breakthrough.”

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola hailed the deal as a “landmark agreement” …

The aim of the agreement is to reduce the amount of irregular migration to the European Union.

The reform includes provisions for faster vetting of irregular arrivals, the creation of border detention centers and quicker deportation for asylum seekers whose requests are rejected.

The overhaul also contains a solidarity mechanism to reduce the pressure for southern countries that are seeing large numbers of asylum seekers arriving at their gates. …

Germany has also welcomed the agreement, with German Chancellor Olaf Sholz saying it “will relieve the burden on countries that are particularly affected — including Germany.”

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said it was “urgently needed and long overdue.” …

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, whose country has seen large numbers of migrants arriving over the Mediterranean by boat over the past years, voiced relief at the deal.

“The approval of the pact is a great success for Europe and for Italy … [which] has always played a leading role in order to affirm a balanced solution so that EU border countries, which are particularly exposed to migratory pressure, no longer feel alone.” he said in a statement.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced his “satisfaction” with the agreement, calling it “an important response” to Athens’ calls for change.

Meanwhile, Hungary strongly rejected the agreement.

“We reject this migration pact in the strongest possible terms … We will not let anyone in against our will, no one from Brussels or anywhere else can tell us who we can let in, and we refuse in the strongest possible terms to be punished for this [stance],” said Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto. …

The European Union has reached an agreement on reforms designed to share the cost of hosting migrants and refugees, and limit the numbers of people coming in to the bloc after years of discussion on how to overhaul its outdated asylum rules. …

People whose asylum applications have a low chance of success, such as those from India, Tunisia or Turkey, can be prevented from entering the bloc and held in detention centres at the border, as can people who are seen as representing a threat to security. …

Italy PM Giorgia Meloni News: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has stirred controversy by asserting, “There is no place for Islam in Europe,” citing concerns over the ongoing promotion of Islam on the continent. The first woman to hold the position of Prime Minister in Italy, Meloni, who leads the far-right party ‘Brothers of Italy,’ has expressed unease about the compatibility of certain interpretations of Islamic culture with the rights and values of European civilization.

In a bold statement, Meloni accused Saudi Arabia of financially supporting Islamic cultural centers in Italy, emphasizing the clash between the values of European cities and the promotion of Islam. …

Anyway, Giorgia Meloni is not the only one who has seen issues in compatibility between Europe and Islam.

Some 61 percent of Germans no longer want any migration from Islamic nations, new polling shows…

Nearly two-thirds of all German citizens want the country’s federal government to impose a ban on migration from predominantly Muslim nations, a damning survey has revealed.

Polling conducted by INSA on behalf of the Bild tabloid newspaper showed that 61 percent of respondents now advocate refusing any more migrants from Islamic countries with many explaining they no longer feel safe in their own country and believe an increasing number of new arrivals despise German society.

Germany will eventually do more than attempt to restrict Islamic migrants.

Eight years ago, France made the type of bathing suit that Islamic women wear illegal (see French prejudice against the ‘burkini’).

Last month, Geert Wilders’ anti-migrant party essentially won the election in the Netherlands (see Geert Wilders’ party wins in the Netherlands–another force to push Islam out of Europe?).

Hungary has continued its anti-illegal migrant policies.

As it turns out, Greco-Roman Catholic also have private prophecies that tell of a time of civil war in Europe–and pushing out Islam. Notice that the first one considers civil war is a major sign of end time events and the second one mentions Germany:

A furious battle will be waged in which 5,650,451 soldiers are killed and a bomb of great power will fall on a city in Persia. John of the Cleft Rock (1340): The White Eagle (Great Monarch), by order of the Archangel Michael, will drive crescent from Europe where none but Christians will remain–he himself will rule from Constantinople. An era of peace and prosperity will begin for the world. There will no longer be Protestants {there were no “Protestants” then and author Connor of that book suggests that perhaps this word should have been translated as heretics} or schismatics…God will raise up a holy Pope (Connor, pp. 33-34)

The reference to “the crescent” is pointing to eliminating Islam from Europe.

The Bible shows that the European beast leader, also called the King of the North, will arise promising peace.

21 And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue. 22 With the force of a flood they shall be swept away from before him and be broken, and also the prince of the covenant. 23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. (Daniel 11:21-23, NKJV)

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25, KJV).

But he will, as alluded to in Daniel 8:25 and as stated in Revelation 13:3-4, be a man of war.

He will push out Islam (cf. Daniel 11:40-43) and lead a powerful European military (cf. Revelation 13:3-4; Daniel 11:39-43)! This will reduce migrants in Europe.
