Why Trump Can Safely Ignore Europe

Europe has reacted swiftly and with great fury to U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision last week to pull out of the Iranian nuclear deal. The problem is not simply that the Trump administration has undermined one of the signature achievements of European foreign policy but that his inherent volatility, his unpredictability, and most of all his lack of commitment to the transatlantic alliance mean that any act of U.S. disruption is now possible. Righteous indignation is the language of the day, and predictions about the death of the transatlantic alliance abound.
But laments and indignation do not add up to strategy. The real question is not whether Europeans are pissed off but whether they will do anything in response to Trump’s actions. The answer is most likely no.
A CALL TO ARMS—AGAIN
The U.S. withdrawal from the Iranian deal certainly feels like a critical moment in transatlantic relations. For Europeans, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as the agreement’s formally known, marked a rare instance in which a coordinated effort by the Europeans decisively influenced Washington’s decision on a critical international security issue. Trump’s withdrawal from the deal is therefore not merely a threat to regional stability and nonproliferation but also a repudiation of the notion that Europe can influence the United States on difficult security issues.

Basically, Foreign Affairs thinks that the Europeans are mad, but they haven’t done anything serious this century, so they can be ignored.

What could possibly drive this man to destroy the hard-won Iran nuclear deal with a single signature, without even bothering to consult his European counterparts and determine a way forward? In doing so, Trump has shown a willingness to risk further escalation in the Middle East, as well as throw 70 years of peaceful trans-Atlantic relations with Europe overboard.
What is driving this man, who seems bent on dismantling every single one of his predecessor’s achievements, with absolutely no plan for what should follow this destruction? …
He flaunts his power, because he can — always with the goal of drawing as much attention to himself as possible. And that’s easy to get when you casually sow destruction.
That’s the reason why he’s chosen a historically significant day to reopen the US Embassy in Jerusalem. And that’s the reason he’s taken a hammer to the Iran deal, without giving any thought to what comes next.
Wake up, Europe!
For Europe and for Germany, this should be a huge wake-up call. Seven decades after the end of World War II, it’s time for Europe to grow up. And that means shouldering responsibility for foreign policy and security issues. Germany needs to finally get serious and start investing in its armed forces again, even if many Germans have in the past been more comfortable with an army that wasn’t fully equipped for defense. …
the European Union needs to find a way to stop its internal crises and emerge as a strong body, with a clear definition of the kind of society it wants to create for its citizens.
These are big challenges, but one thing is clear: One cannot and should not depend on a country that is being governed by a man like Donald Trump. Notice that second to last line: One cannot and should not depend on a country that is being governed by a man like Donald Trump. The Europeans are mad at not only Donald Trump, but the USA.
While Foreign Affairs is right in the sense that Europe will do nothing that strong yet that the USA will notice, but that will change–plus it has already taken some steps.

As many voiced their concerns over Donald Trump’s move, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker did not remain on the sidelines either, slamming Washington for “no longer” willing to “cooperate with other parts of the world.”

The Bible shows that Europe will further reorganize and destroy the USA. First, notice about the reorganizations:
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)
These ten kings have no kingdom, but are to obtain one. Thus, this is a type of reorganization in verse 12. Since they give their power to the Beast in verse 13, this is a second reorganization. The “beast” is not shown to have much power prior to Revelation 17:12-13. And that is how places like Foreign Affairs see Europe today.
Now, in the article by the editor of Deutsche Welle, not only is there a call to not rely on the USA anymore, but for Europe to have its own military.
The Bible says that Europe will have a “great army” (Daniel 11:25).
Catholic prophecy also teaches that:
St. Francis of Paola (Born in Italy, 15th century). “By the grace of the Almighty, the Great Monarch will annihilate heretics and unbelievers. He will have a great army, and angels will fight at his side. He will be like the sun among the stars. His influence will spread over the whole earth. All in all, there will be on earth twelve Kings, one Emperor, one Pope and a few Princes. They will all lead holy lives.” (Dupont, Yves. Catholic Prophecy. TAN Books, 1973, p.38)
Europe will apparently have ten ‘kings,’ but may add a couple to that if the above is correct. Europe has already taken steps to actually have its own military (see With PESCO, EU entering a ‘New Era’: An era that will NOT end well for the USA, Canada, or the UK). Plus, notice something else:
The Brexit row between the UK and the EU-27 over Galileo is escalating. …
The European Commission says Brexit means the UK will have to be excluded from a key element of the system after March next year.
This is the Public Regulated Service, or PRS – a navigation and timing signal intended for use by government agencies, armed forces and “blue light” services.
The PRS is designed to be available and robust even in times of crisis.
Brussels says London cannot immediately have access to it when the UK leaves the European bloc because it will become a foreign entity. PRS is for EU member states only. …
The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, reiterated on Monday the bloc’s view that the UK was locking itself out of Galileo PRS by walking out of the EU.

Europe is developing its own military communications satellite system called Galileo and plans to exclude US ally, the United Kingdom, from parts of it. Europe is taking militaristic steps. One of the things that the European army is prophesied to do is to take over the USA:
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain (Daniel 11:39).
The “he” is the European King of the North Beast power. He will destroy “the strongest fortress,” which in the 21st century, is the USA.
The Bible says this will happen at the time of the end (cf. Daniel 11;40).
Catholic prophecy says that the Great European leader rises up when the Church of Rome has scandals:
Ven. Holzhauser (17th century): The Great Monarch will come when the Latin Church is desolated, humiliated, and afflicted with many heresies (Dupont, Yves. Catholic Prophecy: The Coming Chastisement. TAN Books, Rockford (IL), 1973, p. 114).
The pedophilia and other sex scandels have humiliated the Church of Rome in the 21st century, hence if the above is correct, then we are quite near the time that the “Beast” leader will rise up.
Eastern Orthodox prophecy suggests that the European leader rises up after Persia (Iran) takes destructive actions.
Oracle of Baalbek: And the name of this King is concealed among the nations; and his name is similar to the last day, and it is written from the 18th letter. And when he will receive his empire, his name will be Anastasius, (Anastasois). This king is bald headed, handsome … In his day the Persians will rise up and destroy the cities of the East … (Tzima Otto, p. 64).
The Bible teaches that a power associated with Iran and Syria will one day cause great damage to ‘the city of David” (Isaiah 22:6-9). Donald Trump’s actions will be a factor in the rise of the European King of the North Beast power.
Foreign Affairs is in error for stating that the Europeans will do nothing of importance. This will change.
Europe will rise up. It will get a leader that the Bible warns against, but that many will endorse (see also The Great Monarch: Biblical and Catholic Prophecies).
Donald Trump is one of the reasons that Europe will turn against the USA.
