Germany and China want to unite against USA’s Donald Trump
Sir Isaac Newton’s third law of physics was, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” While that is not completely applicable in international politics, the reality is that there are ‘unintended consequences’ with sanctions, threats, tariffs, military interventions, etc.
Now we see Germany and China trying to see how they can work together to minimize the cost of tariffs and other policies of US President Donald Trump, as well as China trying to work throughout Europe:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang are holding talks on closer economic cooperation in Berlin on Monday as the two countries seek a coordinated strategy in response to the US administration’s protectionist agenda.
Last week saw a worsening of the already severe trade conflict between Washington and Beijing, with the US imposing higher tariffs on a wide range of technological goods imported from China. Beijing immediately reacted to the measure by slapping higher tariffs on predominantly agricultural products from the US in a bid to harm US President Donald Trump’s voters in rural areas.
Alarmed carmakers
Both sides are also mulling imposing higher duties on imported cars — a measure that would also hurt Germany with carmakers such as BMW and Daimler shipping a considerable amount of vehicles to China from their production facilities in the US.
The head of the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), Hubert Lienhard, said that in the face of a growing protectionist agenda in the US, a joint German-Chinese message to the White House “could be one the of things emerging from today’s government consultations.”

China is looking to the European Union as its new best friend amid trade frictions with the United States.
Prime Minister Li Keqiang met eastern and central European leaders in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Saturday, and vowed to open up China’s economy to the wider world. Keqiang is also meeting German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday and next week, in Beijing, he will host an EU-China summit.
“Opening up has been a key driver of China’s reform agenda, so we will continue to open wider to the world, including widening market access for foreign investors,” he said. “Countries are welcome to board China’s economic express to share opportunities of China’s development.”
Keqiang’s comments followed another round of U.S. tariffs against China, instigated on Friday and worth $34 billion. Beijing retaliated with the same amount. Also last week, President Donald Trump threatened to impose an additional $500 billion in tariffs on Chinese goods. Trump believes that increasing tariffs on imported goods will help reducing the U.S. trade deficit.
China has been pouring billions of euros into roads, railways, ports and other infrastructure projects in eastern and central European countries.

While the Europeans do not want to overly rile up Donald Trump, he is the one they are most concerned about. He is the one whose policies have them scrambling to try to figure out what to do next.

Germany’s Foreign Minister Heiko Maas warned in a recent speech that “old pillars of reliability are crumbling”, in a veiled reference to the U.S. withdrawal from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal to tariffs on EU metals exports and the threat of more to come on cars.
On NATO’s old foe Russia, the administration has sent mixed messages by intensifying a U.S. military build-up in Europe while railing against fellow NATO members on defense spending and failing to coordinate on new sanctions on Moscow in 2017.
The U.S. president – the de facto leader of the nearly 70-year-old North Atlantic Treaty Organisation – has indicated what his message will be at the two-day meeting from Wednesday: other governments must dramatically step up military spending and lower import tariffs.
“I’m going to tell NATO: You’ve got to start paying your bills. The United States is not going to take care of everything,” Trump told a rally last week, adding: “They kill us on trade.” …
EU officials say Trump appears uninterested in solutions, however. They say he ignored top-level talks between EU envoys and U.S. trade and State Department officials this year to avoid metal tariffs and keep Washington in the Iran deal. …
EU efforts to develop a relationship with the White House, including high-profile visits by the French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have largely failed.

Has or will Donald Trump affect Europe?
Yes.
He will do so in many ways, including several that few consider.
The Washington Post reported in late 2016 that Donald Trump admired Richard Nixon. It also reported:
Donald Trump appears to have embraced, with gusto, Richard Nixon’s “Madman Theory” of foreign policy. He thinks he can use his reputation for unpredictability and lack of respect for long-standing international norms to unnerve and then intimidate America’s adversaries into making concessions that they would not otherwise make. Donald Trump’s foreign policy statements have unsettled many—in the U.S.A. as well as foreign nations. He seems like he will more unpredictable than Richard Nixon.
There is also something referred to as the “law of unintended consequences.” There are consequences for the U.S.A., Europe, and elsewhere that have and will occur because of Donald Trump’s statements and actions.
Many Europeans Do Not Like Donald Trump

Donald Trump will not ‘make America great again.’ His rise is dangerous for many reasons, but prophetically, one of them is that his rise has shown the Europeans that the USA is moving in a direction they do not like (cf. Daniel 11:39).
Climate Change
Donald Trump’s views against the ‘climate change’ agenda have not pleased the Europeans. …

Some believe that Donald Trump’s positions on trade will lead to a global trade war that could trigger some type of international war (Katasonov V. Only One Step Away from a Global Trade War. Strategic Culture Foundation, December 12, 2016). It is my position that trade disputes will be a factor in Europe taking military action against the U.S.A. one day.
Energy and climate policy differences between the Europeans and Donald Trump may increase the negative view many in Europe already have about the USA. …
German Concerns About USA and Donald Trump
Some consider that Donald Trump’s rise is a sign that the USA is in decline. …
Germans and others see the USA declining. Europe will go in a direction that USA leaders, including its ‘foreign policy experts,’ do not comprehend (Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-11).
When my wife and I were in Europe in late 2016, many of the Europeans we spoke to were essentially of the view that the USA is supposed to be the leader of the West, so how could it possibly elect Donald Trump? We were told this by Europeans from countries like Switzerland, Spain, and the Netherlands. European disdain for Donald Trump and how they perceive his leading of the USA is real. …
There Will be Consequences
Donald Trump indicated that Europe needs to pay for more of its defense or the USA should not have to pay for it (Collinson S. 5 candidates make closing arguments on CNN ahead of Western Tuesday. CNN, March 20, 2016).
Many in the USA do not seem to realize that once Europeans are spending more for their militaries, that they will also expect to have more independence from the USA as to how military might will be used. …
Donald Trump has made statements that will help lead to the rise of a European Empire as well as an Islamic confederation. These are to be led by leaders that the Bible refers to as the King of the North and the King of the South respectively.
The rise of Donald Trump should show 21st century people that the King of the North will be able rise up in Europe.

I warned about “intended consequences” in that book about Europe and we are starting to see this happening. The distancing of Europe from the USA is encouraging them to build their military. Europeans are concluding that they cannot rely on the USA anymore. And this means in matters of not only trade, but defense.
Europe is moving forward with its unification and military plans and few in the USA seem to realize that when it gets enough power, the USA will lose all of its. Europe will reorganize (Revelation 17:12-13).
Europe is getting increasingly frustrated with the USA on international matters and is taking steps related to trade and its military. Europe, not the USA, will dominate trade for a time this century (cf. Revelation 18; watch also our latest BNP video: Trade Disputes: CCOG Warnings Are Coming to Pass).
Donald Trump’s positions are getting the EU to look at basically being able to write international trade rules, such as those of the World Trade Organization, that Donald Trump disparages (see ‘Europe needs to do 2 things to win the trade war,’ Donald Trump’s World Trade Organization views are leading to the rise of the Babylonian Beast and/or watch Trade Disputes: CCOG Warnings Are Coming to Pass).
While some will correctly point out that the USA has the world’s predominant reserve currency as well as a large military advantage over other nations, the USA’s insults, overconfidence, and debt, combined with its excessive sharing of military technology with Europe, as well as pressuring the Europeans to spend more on military matters, is putting it at risk (Daniel 11:39).
The Apostle Peter was inspired to write:
3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” (2 Peter 3:3-4)
What is going on between the USA and Europe and China shows that things ARE changing.
Those who think that the USA will continue to lead the world indefinitely are deceiving themselves.
Donald Trump’s actions will be a factor in the rise of the European King of the North Beast power. The USA will one day be destroyed per Daniel 11:39 by a European power.

Is China paving roads to Armageddon? China is working on something known as the ‘Silk Road’ project or the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. NBC reports that China intends to spend one trillion dollars to build roads, bridges, railroads, and maritime facilities to reach from China to Europe and China to the Middle East. Over 60 nations, including Russia, are involved with this. Could this Silk Road project possibly produce thoroughfares that could be used by troops that will amass at Armageddon?
