Germany pushing ‘mark of the beast’?

A reader sent me a link to the following which he titled “Precursor to Mark of the Beast”:
On Jan. 29, the German parliament ratified the implementation of Agenda ID2020, the next phase of the global Mark of the Beast rollout being ushered in on the back of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “pandemic.”
This centralized general electronic data collection program will profile every citizen in Germany and grant access to every government agency, police department, and three-letter agency, as well as to the private sector.
Up to 200 points of information, and possibly more as time goes on, will be included in the program. These include people’s bank accounts, shopping habits, health records, including vaccination records, political inclinations, and probably even dating habits.
If the government can use it against you, Germany wants to house it in the Agenda ID2020 database, which was designed by none other than billionaire eugenicist Bill Gates as part of his “vaccination package.” …
Switzerland’s Agenda ID2020 mark of the beast to be voted on in early March
In nearby Switzerland, voters will have the chance on Mar. 7 to approve that country’s version of Agenda ID2020, an all-electronic identification system that will link “everything to everything of each individual citizen.”

Before going further, let me state that so-called ‘fact-checkers’ like Snopes claim that there is not a plan associated with Bill Gates to microchip the world. That being said, his company is one of the founders of Agenda ID2020 and here is information from its official website:

So, yes there is an alliance of international players pushing digital identification, which looks to be affiliated with microchips.
As far as the report about buying and selling goes, and the view Agenda ID2020 is a precursor to the mark of the beast, notice the following from the Book of Revelation:
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)
You can always be tracked when your are microchipped.
While you may think you have done nothing wrong, the Bible warns about a totalitarian Beast power that will arise and harm those striving to live God’s way of life (Revelation 13:1-10). Totalitarian controls will be part of this (cf. Revelation 13:16-18).

Because she has a religious objection to Northside Independent School District’s new student tracking system, Andrea Hernandez and her father testified in federal court Monday, she should not be transferred to another school for refusing to carry a student I.D. badge.
Hernandez, 15, a sophomore in a science and engineering magnet program at John Jay High School, and her father, Steven Hernandez, each testified that they believe the tracking system — which uses radio frequency identification tags inserted in student badges — is a sign of submission to the Antichrist as described in the Bible’s Book of Revelation. While Northside Independent School District will not be {the} final Antichrist, the reality is that many governments continue to increase their ability to track people.
Lest some feel that this is only an isolated incidence, many in the USA and elsewhere have raised “mark of the beast” concerns in the past (here are links to some examples that made the news Americans Distrust Their Government and Certain Microchips, Mark of the Beast Fears in Virginia, CERN logo is 666?, India’s Baptists and Presbyterian Mark of the Beast Fears, and Writer claims cell phone is “mark of the beast”).
Having some type of the “mark of the beast” is coming. And technologies like the internet, cell phones, and RFID make tracking of people easier.
According to the Bible, the “mark of the Beast” is not a good thing to have:
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)
1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. 2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. (Revelation 15:1-2)
20 ..he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. (Revelation 19:20)
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:11)
2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. (Revelation 16:2)
The ability to control buying and selling, etc. would be vastly aided by modern technology, including, likely, various forms of identification. The “mark of the beast” itself has to do with religious imagery/icons/practices.
While, identification cards, per se, are not the “mark of the beast,” they likely will be used by the Beast and may, in the future, have his mark/image and/or number. The Greek term translated as “mark” in the New Testament is cháragma. It is only used once outside the Book of Revelation in the textus receptus and in that passage (Acts 17:29) cháragma refers to a physical marking or engraving. It involves a violation of the Ten Commandments, and could possibly involve idols, tattoos (see Tattoos: History and Biblical Teachings), and/or microchip technology.
While I am NOT saying that microchips are the ‘mark of the Beast,’ we are getting closer to the time that buying and selling can be controlled. We are at the stage where more and more buying and selling can be controlled.
A couple of years ago, the Europeans announced that they plan to have a financial law enforcer. Related to that, the Continuing Church of God (CCOG) put out the following video on our Bible News Prophecy YouTube channel:
The European Union is in the process of establishing the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.This is a major, first-of-its-kind move, with the EU setting up a European-wide prosecutor’s office that will have power to investigate and charge people for financial crimes committed against the EU. It looks like this type of office may end up persecuting those that do not have the mark of the Beast when they “buy or sell” as that will later be considered a financial crime in Europe. What does 666 mean? How has that name be calculated? How can we be certain that this is a prophecy for Europe and not Islam? Is the appointment of this new office of significant prophetic importance? While the existence of ID2020 does NOT mean that all microchip implants are wrong or the ‘mark of the Beast,’ it does show that we have entered a time where modern technology can help fulfill some 666 predictions–and that there is international support for it.
What about vaccines?
While they do not seem to meet the Bible’s criteria to be the “mark of the beast,” they are more and more sounding like a way to gain totalitarian control.
In one way, if all they did was keep and identify the needle used to give the vaccine (presuming a needle is used) governments would have DNA on everyone who got the vaccine. That also may assist with the coming totalitarian controls.
Irrespective of what the mark of the beast is we are seeing more steps towards totalitarian controls.
