Germany’s Merkel Says to Wait on Palestinian Recognition

After meeting with the Palestinian President today, Germany’s Chancellor came out and said to wait for recognition of Palestinian statehood:

German chancellor pushes for an ‘urgent’ return to negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians after meeting with Palestinian President Abbas, who said peace process will continue despite Palestinian reconciliation.

So, Germany wants a peace deal (like my previous post implied) soon, but does not want Palestine to declare itself a state yet.

Israel is probably pleased by these public statements from Chancellor Merkel.

The prophecies in both the books of Daniel (9:26-27; 11:20-44) and Revelation (13;17;18) point a power to be based out of Europe (there are also European pointed prophecies in other books of the Bible, such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc.) that will fulfill many end-time prophecies. And Chancellor Merkel’s comments suggest, to me at least, that Germany intends to take steps which (probably inadvertently) will fulfill many end-time prophecies–including a European leader’s involvement in a temporary peace deal per Daniel 9:26-27.
