He said the new government will take action against organized crime, with an expanded fight against these groups. “The largest threat to democracy is right-wing extremism, which is why we will fight against it with all determination,” he said.

This focus on rule of law extends to political extremism and financial crime.

The new government will also focus on tax avoidance, and will strengthen anti trust authorities.

European unity

Scholz called for strengthened European unity and pledged ongoing support for the European project.

“The success of Europe is our most important national concern,” he stressed. “If we want to confidently defend our European way of life, we can only do so together as the European Union.”

He reinforced Germany’s close relationship with France, saying he would work closely with French President Emmanuel Macron. …

Notice that Chancellor Scholz wants to strengthen European unity, fight against financial crime (which invariably tends to mean more financial regulations–more of which are coming per Revelation 13:16-18), and increase military spending.

These pledges are consistent with several end time biblical prophecies.

On November 9, 2018, US President Donald Trump called that an insult, but the next day said that the USA wanted “a very strong Europe.” Emmanuel Macron referred to Donald Trump as “my friend” and indicated a desire to strengthen Europe’s military spending. In December 2017, 25 European nations agreed to be part of a military alliance called PESCO. Europe also has NATO and IEI. Will Europe end up with “a great army”? Has Donald Trump’s announcement to withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty gotten some to say that Europe must rebel against the USA? Is the idea of a United States of Europe and a European army a “paranoid fantasy” or a biblical reality? Will the USA regret Europe becoming a stronger military power? Will the USA be betrayed by “friends” such as its continental European allies? Does the Bible teach any or all of this?
