Handwriting is on the Wall for Ronald Weinland

Well now that Harold Camping has been proven wrong (he claimed that Jesus would return on May 21, 2011), this probably has got Ronald Weinland trying to figure out what he will say and do when his own prediction that Jesus will return on May 27, 2012 will be proven false.  And since we will give him until that day ends, this gives Ronald Weinland 366 days.

Ronald Weinland posted this last week:

May 27th of 2012, will be “the Pentecost” that ushers in the greater fulfillment of what this Holy Day has always foreshadowed…The next great step in the fulfillment of Pentecost is only a little over a year away when Jesus Christ will come as King of kings to rule over this earth.

Here is the interpretation that the prophet Daniel gave of the handwriting on the wall:

24 Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and this writing was written.

25 “And this is the inscription that was written:

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

26 This is the interpretation of each word. Mene: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; 27 Tekel: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; 28 Peres: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.”  (Daniel 5:24-28)

So, let us apply this to Ronald Weinland.

  1. Mene: Your days to be proven wrong are numbered, and you will be found lacking the inspiration of God that you claim.
  2. Mene: This is the second date you had stated, like Harold Camping (who was also wrong both times), so when you are wrong again will you act like him or have you truly decided what you will do this second time for being wrong?
  3. Tekel: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting.  Will you now tell the truth and publicly admit that you are not one the two witnesses or God’s prophet or apostle?
  4. Peres: Your church will be divided–will you admit you are false and try not to interfere with the lives of others and stop your deceit?

Now in his sermon March 12, 2011, Ronald Weinland stated the following:

So, if I’m not a prophet I’ll reason with you accordingly and be open with you about it…

So often for those who do not believe that I’m a prophet, the question is asked, “What will you do if these things do not come to pass?” And I’m going to answer that more fully in this particular sermon today…

So again, some cannot wait for me to say that I am not a prophet, or to say that I am a false prophet. Indeed, no one has long to wait do they? Isn’t that amazing? May 27, 2012 is not too far away and if Europe hasn’t risen by early 2012 and if China does not begin destroying the earth before that date, then the reality would be manifest much sooner, obviously. You don’t have to wait until 2012.

As far as the question they ask; what would I do? Well, first I’d repent before God and the Church. I’d acknowledge my sin and pray that God have mercy upon me for being so horribly  presumptuous.  Candidly (and some are going to really hate hearing this), I’d deeply repent of all those things that concern prophecies that I have given in the office of a prophet BUT I’d seek to hold fast to all that I believe with all my being to be true concerning the word of God. I would begin to go back through all 57 Truths (and I’d hope others would do exactly the same thing), IF… just to be open about it. I’d go back through all 57 Truths and eliminate those that are shown to be untrue, repenting as I did so; but I would hold fast to all that I believed to be true.

So, he at least seems to realize that his days are numbered.

Yet, Ronald Weinland claimed in 2008 that if the USA was not nuked by the summer of the same year that he would admit that he was a false prophet. So now, he is claiming that he will be truthful this time if he is proven to be false–which he will once again be (and of course, those that look to scripture above his words will recognize that he is already proven to be false).

Ronald Weinland did not admit that he was a false prophet in 2008 and so will he next year?  Hopefully, because he will be so wrong again, maybe less people will listen to him after May 27, 2012.

Yet, the fact that the events of the Great Tribulation have still not began has not caused enough of his followers to experience disbelief yet.  Many will sadly ignore Ronald Weinland’s own comments that you “don’t have to wait until 2012” to see that he is false.  It is already clear–he was wrong before and too many world events simply need to happen before Jesus can return and they cannot happen within the next year.

The Bible is clear that one whose prophecies do not come to pass does not speak for God:

21 “And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’– 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).

Ronald Weinland has often spoken presumptuously.

As I have been writing for years, Ronald Weinland is a false prophet and is NOT one of God’s two witnesses.  He should realize that his days are again numbered and he will be found lacking divine inspiration.

I feel sorry for Ronald Weinland and those who follow him. Hopefully now more of them will wake up. Because the main “Great Tribulation” that his followers are experiencing now is continuing to be led by the imaginations of Ronald Weinland.

The biblical Great Tribulation has not yet began and those who believe otherwise have allowed themselves to be deceived. None should follow Ronald Weinland, nor other false prophets (the followers of Harold Camping will be very disappointed in less than three months when his prediction for the return of Jesus will be shown to be false).

Those following Ronald Weinland should wake up now, and not wait until May 28, 2012 when Jesus does not return by the day before.  It is obvious now that Ronald Weinland will be wrong again.

Is he a false prophet? He has at least one other view that suggests that he is not part of the COG.
