There was a lunar eclipse on election day, Tuesday, November 3, 1846, but it wasn’t total. Instead, it was a rather shallow penumbral lunar eclipse, in which the full moon completely missed the Earth’s inner, dark shadow, and passed through the Earth’s outer, faint penumbral shadow. …
Rabbi Mordechai Genuth discussed the meaning of eclipses in Jewish tradition, explaining that under normal circumstances, lunar eclipses are considered a bad omen for Israel. This is based on a section in the Talmud (Sukkot 29a) that specifies that lunar eclipses are a bad omen for Israel since Israel is spiritually represented by the moon. If the lunar eclipse takes place in the east side of the heavens, then it is a bad omen for all the nations in the east, and similarly, if it occurs in the western hemisphere of the sky, it is a bad sign for all the nations in the west.
“In the time of the Talmud, only Israel set the calendar according to the moon,” Rabbi Genuth said. …
“The eclipse will pass over the United States,” Rabbi Genuth said. “The President is connecting his fate with that of the Arabs, choosing them over Israel. He is choosing war, the wars that originate in Ishmael, the wars that are presaged by the upcoming blood moon.”
Rabbi Genuth made one disclaimer; at the end of the section of the Talmud describing the omens contained within eclipses, the Talmud states: “When Israel does the will of the place (God), they have nothing to fear from all of this,” citing the Prophet Jeremiah as a source.
Thus said Hashem: Do not learn to go the way of the nations, And do not be dismayed by portents in the sky; Let the nations be dismayed by them! Jeremiah 10:2 …

As Jeremiah 10:2 states, we are not to be dismayed by things in the sky. And that includes the next blood moon.
Years ago, I denounced the view that the ‘blood moons’ of 2014 and 2015 could mean that Jesus would return or that the ‘Day of the Lord’ was about to start. This was something that Mark Biltz (who practices Messianic Judaism) started promoting back in 2008–but he was wrong. I also denounced the super blood moon prophetic nonsense in 2018 and also in 2019 denounced the super blood moon prophetic nonsense for 2019.

Repeatedly, those who pointed to prophetic significance of the blood moons which have happened over the past several years were wrong.
What is a blood moon? Here is one explanation:
A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes in the shadow of Earth. This is an area known as the umbra, where light from the Sun is blocked by our planet.
When the light refracts differently in the atmosphere and hits the moon, it makes it appear red. During a total eclipse, the entire moon is in shadow and it appears ‘blood red’. 07/11/18 https://www.mirror.co.uk/science/what-blood-moon-heres-moon-12801318
So, a blood moon is basically a reddish appearing shadow on the moon.
The Bible teaches:
2 The LORD says, “Do not start following pagan religious practices. Do not be in awe of signs that occur in the sky even though the nations hold them in awe. 3 For the religion of these people is worthless. They cut down a tree in the forest, and a craftsman makes it into an idol with his tools. 4 He decorates it with overlays of silver and gold. He uses hammer and nails to fasten it together so that it will not fall over. (Jeremiah 10:2-4, NET Bible)
So, before the next blood moon occurs, I again want to inform people that this eclipse is a natural phenomenon.
While there are prophecies related to the moon looking like blood, they are NOT related to the USA election next week.
As far as 2022 goes, consider the following:
That said, no one should place their hopes in the upcoming USA election.
Without massive national repentance, which is not expected, the USA does not have too many years left (see also Might the U.S.A. Be Gone by 2028?).
For Christians, our hope is in the return of our resurrected Savior and the coming Kingdom of God, not in a worldly election.
