‘Is There Hope for the US?’ ‘US 2020 election: Who does China really want to win?’
The USA is showing more signs of decline. Consider, for example, the following:

An Antifa protest in Boston on Sunday took a disturbingly bizarre twist as protesters burned a US flag while others called out the name of a pagan Hindu god, acting out a pagan ritual human sacrifice, culminating in one protester covering himself in blood and eating a heart. …
Another participant, dressed up in a parody of the president with a red MAGA hat and yellow wig, said, “I am Donald J. Trump. And while I am evil, I am no more evil than all these boot-licking politicians out here today. All these **** out here today worship me like a god. So I stand here as a sacrifice for what is right.”
The first participant then pulled a bloody heart (presumably that of an animal) from the front of the faux Trump’s shirt, raised it into the air and proclaimed “Kali maa.”
Kali is a female god in the Hindu pantheon worshipped throughout India and Nepal. Though seen as the divine protector and the one who bestows moksha, or liberation, she is, like many of the main Hindu deities, associated with blood and death. Kali is seen as the bloodthirsty embodiment of destruction, and the ultimate protector against evil.
The Trump impersonator fell to the ground after which posters of the president were burned. Another protester picked up the discarded heart, holding it over his face and squeezing out blood onto his face. He then took bites out of the raw heart, screaming. “I’m on fire! Is There Hope for the US?
For the entire lives of anyone under the age of seventy-five, the US has been at the top of the heap in almost every way. For decades, it had greater freedom, greater prosperity and higher production than any other country in the world.
America was a cornucopia – the centre for innovation and trends in technology, the arts and social development. And today, many Americans, even if they complain about changes for the worse in their country, come back quickly to say, “This is still the greatest country in the world.” Or, “Everybody is still trying to come here.”
Well, truth be told, neither of these knee-jerk comments is accurate any longer. But even those who have come to that realisation tend to resort to the inevitable fall-back comment: “Well, whattaya gonna do? It’s just as bad everyplace else.”
And yet, this is also inaccurate. Throughout the history of the world, whenever a country had entered its decline stage, others were in the process of rising up. …
So, what are Americans to do?
Well, my belief is that – as is always the case when a country declines – the populace will divide into several groups.
The first group, which will be by far the largest, will increasingly grumble, but ultimately do little or nothing to save themselves. They will go down with the ship.
The second group will say, “We don’t have to accept this.” They’re the preppers, the ones who have a store of food and have been stashing away guns and ammunition. They’re the folks who are seen at the corner bar, saying, “If they come for me, I’m locked and loaded.”
Their friends nod in agreement, but in fact, if a trained and outfitted SWAT team were to arrive on their porch, there would be very few who would succeed in getting off a single shot, and for those who did, their remaining life would be brief.
On the more thoughtful side of this group would be the third group. They would also say, “We don’t have to accept this,” but their choice of a solution will be to “work within the system.”
This is a much larger group – the ones who wait for each election as though it holds a solution. Each time, they’re disappointed. If the party they supported is elected, the winners somehow fail to return the country to the free society it had once been. If the other party is elected, the decline only accelerates.
Incredibly, the lightbulb never seems to go on for this group. They never get to the point of realisation that, “Oh, I get it: neither party has any intention of returning the country to a state of liberty. The only question is which group of pretenders gets to be in charge of the decline this time around. Either way, I lose.”
It could be said that this is the most tragic group. They’re sincere and dedicated. They endlessly hope that a solution is just around the corner, without there being any actual substance for their hope.
The commonality in all three of these groups is that they all end up as casualties. They may differ in their approach to the decline, but they’ll share in the loss of their wealth (however large or small) and their liberty.

Any who place their trust in anything but God will be disappointed, or as Jeff Thomas put it, causalities.
Grumbling will not fix the USA. While there is some wisdom associated with prepping (see Physical Preparation Scriptures for Christians), that will not work for most–including those who think they can hide in the hills/mountains. Notice something from the prophets Amos and Jeremiah:
9 ‘Assemble on the mountains of Samaria; See great tumults in her midst, And the oppressed within her. 10 For they do not know to do right, ‘Says the Lord, ‘Who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.’” 11 Therefore thus says the Lord God: “An adversary shall be all around the land; He shall sap your strength from you, And your palaces shall be plundered.” 12 Thus says the Lord: “As a shepherd takes from the mouth of a lion Two legs or a piece of an ear, So shall the children of Israel be taken out Who dwell in Samaria — In the corner of a bed and on the edge of a couch! 13 Hear and testify against the house of Jacob,”Says the Lord God, the God of hosts, 14 ‘That in the day I punish Israel for their transgressions, I will also visit destruction on the altars of Bethel; And the horns of the altar shall be cut off And fall to the ground. (Amos 3:9-14)
19 They pursued us on the mountains And lay in wait for us in the wilderness (Lamentations 4:19).
The above indicates that some will be hiding in the mountains and other places in the USA while others are will be taken out of the USA (which is the prophetic Samaria–see Spiritual Samaritans: Old and New). Most of the Anglos that are not killed will be made slaves. Hiding in the mountains may protect a few for a time, but it will be relatively few that survive that way for long.
They will be pursued.
Those who trust in elections will not be satisfied (see also Should a Christian Vote?). Consider that neither Joe Biden or Donald Trump have called for national repentance–and that is what is needed (cf. Hosea 11:3a, 5b-7). More about the two of them are in the video: Biden, Trump, and the Bible.

Chinese leaders may have a growing feeling that US democracy has passed its sell-by-date but if they had to express a choice, might they too be glad to see the back of Donald Trump?
That’s certainly the assessment of the US intelligence community that has concluded that Mr Trump’s unpredictability, and his harsh criticisms of Beijing, mean the Communist Party leadership would prefer him to lose.
But Professor Yan Xuetong, dean of the Institute of International Relations at Beijing’s Tsinghua University, disagrees.
“If you ask me about where China’s interests lie,” he says, “the preference would be for Trump rather than Biden”.
“Not because Trump will do less damage to China’s interests than Biden, but because he definitely will damage the US more than Biden.”
The USA truly is in decline.
It sins, including debt, will be a factor in its coming destruction (cf. Habakkuk 2:2-8).

Do biblical references to eagles need to be referring to the USA? What can we see in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Habakkuk, Hosea, Amos, Zephaniah, and Revelation? While leaving the USA is an option for some at this time, unless one has truly accepted God’s calling (see Is God Calling You?), and becomes a Philadelphian Christian (see The Philadelphia Church Era and There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Near Petra), it will not be the solution (cf. Revelation 12:14-17; 13:1-18).
Nor, is it time, yet, for Philadelphians to flee.
But the Bible essentially teaches that now is the time for the most faithful Christians to gather together and do the Philadelphian work (cf. Zephaniah 2:1-3, Revelation 3:8-13).
Do not wait and think that somehow the USA is about to properly reverse course and become the moral leader of the world.
The USA is in decline, and China, Europe, and more and more of the nations in the world are seeing this.

6. The Philadelphia Church Era was predominant circa 1933 A.D. to 1986 A.D. The old Radio Church of God and old Worldwide Church of God, now the remnant of that era is basically the most faithful in the Church of God, like who hold to the beliefs and practices of the Continuing Church of God.
7. The Laodicean Church Era has been predominant circa 1986 A.D. to present. The Laodiceans are non-Philadelphians who mainly descended from the old WCG or its offshoots.
