The group calling itself the Islamic State (also known as ISIL or ISIS) has a propaganda poster in Indonesia directed at destroying USA financial, scientific, and media influence:

Indonesian ISIS supporters circulated posters online warning that Satan is behind the American financial system as well as media and entertainment, threatening to attack a handful of entities.

The first poster, telling adherents to “think smart,” shows a devilish figure looming over several icons in flames: the United Nations, the Federal Reserve, Universal Studios Hollywood, CNN, NATO Allied Command Transformation and NASA, along with the reverse of the Great Seal on the U.S. dollar bill.

The {poster} release comes as Indonesia has increasingly become a hotbed of Islamic terror and haven for extremists.

“Indonesia increasingly has become a haven for Islamist extremists. The poster has the gunman shouting “Allahu akbar,” which is something that many suicidal Islamic terrorists shout. Notice something about that:

As the horrific news broke Tuesday that the driver of a Home Depot rental truck in New York City had mowed over pedestrians and bike riders, “terrorism” naturally came to the minds of most Americans.

When reports began circulating that witnesses heard the perpetrator yell “Allahu akbar,” even law enforcement officials typically reluctant to apply the terrorism label to such incidents acknowledged they were looking at something more than a tragic accident.

“Allahu akbar” is an Arabic phrase that has become significant in this post-9/11 era, yet in the aftermath of the attack Tuesday in which eight people were killed and a dozen injured, official after official and news outlet after news outlet mistranslated it, insisting it means “God is great.”

An accurate translation – and even Google Translate affirms it – is “Allah is the greatest” or, literally, “Allah is greater,” as in the god Allah is greater than all other gods.

The interpretation is important, contends Islam expert Robert Spencer, because it makes clear that the threat Western Civilization faces is rooted in a historic dogma of global conquest.

“‘God is great’ is a bland statement of piety. ‘Allah is greater’ is a declaration of supremacism and superiority, and of victory over the infidels,” Spencer told WND.

While the mainstream media, like MSN, has actually reported that, ‘Allahu Akbar!’ An Everyday Phrase, Tarnished by Attacks, this is an attempt to diminish Islam’s real objectives. The “every day phrase” from Muslims is a daily reminder that conquest is what their religion is supposed to be about.

The Islamic State wants war (jihad) and it is not unique in that view. It is held by many adherents to Islam.

Islam encourages war, deceit, and terrorism. Here is something from the Islamic State’s publication Dabiq:

Jihād in this era is an obligation upon each and every Muslim as numerous lands of the Muslims have been usurped by the kuffār and numerous parties of apostasy have arisen therein. Until all these lands are retaken, cleansed of apostates, and ruled by the Sharī’ah, the obligation does not drop. … Allah said, {And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows} [Al-Anfāl: 60].(The Murtadd Brotherhood. ‘Jihad’ supposedly means ‘holy war.’

While the USA does have problems, and many of its organizations promote sin (see, e.g, Pornography: A scourge on society), and its dollar will one day no longer dominate the world economically (see, e.g., The End of US Dollar Dominance), going around killing people in the name of Allah is not right.

This will not be happening in the Kingdom of God.

ABU DHABI (Reuters) – Arab countries have finalised plans to create an independent, regional cross-border payments system after current arrangements were hit by a rise in compliance costs and downsizing by some international banks.

At present, many cross-border payments and settlements among Arab countries are carried out by correspondent banks, which act as agents for foreign financial institutions that do not have a local presence in a given country.

A tightening of anti-money laundering rules by U.S. and European banks in the last several years has added to the cost of this practice, while some banks have quit the market to focus on more lucrative areas.

The board of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), which has 22 member countries ranging from Gulf states to Sudan and Morocco, approved the creation of an independent regional body to clear and settle payments among them, the AMF said on Sunday.
